Our CuriousHeart, known to many as just "curi" although from my perspective I watched this young debutante take that fateful walk, as so many of us have before her, presented before the Masters by Vette. The soft smile on her face that tender soft and yet very wise look in her eyes, a trembling lower lip, and fingers that quaked. She stood there before us barefoot as the day she was born a simple collar about her neck. She was beautiful and serene as she was guided through the Ritual Passage by our Dominants: Sir Talos, Sir Kurt, and her Protector Maitre Chronos. I thought to myself was it that she came to us because she was indeed curious or was it something more. I tend to believe now it was the something more. Our CuriousHeart could have well been called "heart" for she displayed that submissive heart so warm and loving that it engulfed all of us.
From the opening words to the closing she never skipped a beat and she continued to enchant us with that sweet desire to serve the Masters. Even during a very difficult time in the transition from debutante to demoiselle it was echo'd upon the winds as a door slammed loudly below the Library and we all jumped from the resounding sound of it. From her heart she asked that question we all do. I grasped that sweet flicker of an echo and I reflected on it for a moment and looked up with pride as she continued to focus and brought the room to its feet with much praise for her grace and submissive display. Do we dare answer her question. Yes I dare too. No sweet Curious one, your heart your love to serve that sweet tender submission was perfect in all ways. Many times the colored hues and patterns of shifting sands beneath our bare feet seem to shimmer and fade, yours never did. You were amazing, graceful and that tender sweetness echo'd from your lips to all of us who remained. May the Gods Bless You always with that gift.
The gift you share with us will forever color our worlds in hues of beauty. Congratulations and welcome home to Curious who I believe has a Heart of gold, and we are blessed to call her a sister among us. Much more is to come from this young Demoiselle. I look forward to watching her steps as she negotiates her path to Sister at Val du Oise.
