"We will begin the initiation in just a few moments," said Maitre Dust. "We are awaiting the arrival of a special member of our community."
Maitre Rene walked into the chateau library, followed by an eruption of greetings that took a few minutes to quiet. He stood in the center of the room and gave the following address:
"Bonjour wonderful famille ! As many of you know I have been away for an extended period of time
but I am happy to say I am returned at atlast!" he smiles and looks from face to face.
"Many of you I have not yet had the opportunity to meet. I don’t bite but i can bite on some special places if needed." He laughs. "I wish to give you a personal welcome to our community right now and please know I am open to speaking with you, whether it be an idea or a complaint, I invite you to IM or notecard me. I do my best to respond in a timely manner!"
He pauses for a moment, considering what he wants to next say…………….
"We must never take for granted what we have in life, nor life for that matter; it is so fleeting and things can change on a dime.
"Look around you and see the people not only in this room but those who share their time here on our home and please take care of one another, be kind to one another. We all have good and bad sides but if you only focus on a person’s bad side you will make them into a bad person...no matter what, it is no reason to go and look only at the bad side.
"Rather look at each member of our family and find their good side and focus on that, their strengths, their unique skills, their hopes and dreams they want to share with us. By doing so you will help to generate and support the positive goodness of each famille member. By doing this, a greater unity within our community will form and we grow stronger because of it.
"Sadly, there have been rumors that i have passed away but as you all can see..............
I am alive!"
His eyes continue to jump from face to face. "It's sad that people have to make up silly rumors in an effort to hurt us!
"Please don't participate in gossip or the spreading of rumors that are too hurtful and destructive." He smiles. "Please live together in cooperation and peace and please accept the differences in one another.
'Some of you are busy and flirty and assertive and some of you are quiet and soft and receptive when approached… so what? One way is not better than the other… just be accepting.'
He smiles and turns to his chair, sitting down in it
'Oh my old chair is still here in the corner waiting for me…………. that’s good.'"
He pulls a shiny silver flask from an inside pocket of his jacket and unscrews the cap from it.
"Trust that I will be going over everything that happened during my absence with a fine-toothed comb. I ask all of you to take an open mind now as I will be making some changes…………."
Maitre Dusty Caldera stands....and looks to Rene......"Thank you for rejoining us and we are so very glad to have you back with us. They we begin the initiation, Rene?"
Maitre René replies, "Soon my friend," and continues:
"...know that they will be for the welfare of all our members." His golden eyes suddenly sparkle from the touch of a light. He smiles.
"It’s been awhile since I’ve attended a Demoiselle Initiation and from what I’ve learned we’ve had quite an assembly line of them during my absence. I wish to congratulate all of you who have become Demoiselle, as well as graduated to Sister and welcome the new Doms, Dommes, and Masters."
"And Maitres as well," adds in Maitre Dusty.
Maitre René brings the flask to his lips and takes a healthy swig and smacks his lips as he looks to Dusty.
"My friend, now let’s begin this one." Getting comfortable, he takes another swig as he prepares to watch the show.
