“Welcome all my friends to this special Maitre ceremony.Today we continue the tradition, of celebrating a Masters's journey to the highest tag we offer here at Roissy Val d'Oise. It is a high honor and it is a reflection of dedication to achieving Dominant knowledge and also delectation to the sim.
"Brinker has shown this dedication.
“This achievement can not be done without the support from the VDO family. With that in mind, I will open the floor to short comments about our new Maitre.”
S P E A K E R S
Courtesan Sister Sadie recalled, “I met Master Brinker when he was in a tree a long long time ago and I'm happy to see him Join the Maitres here at Vdo.”
Courtesan Sister Tzeitel said, “Master Brinker, congratulations on your promotion to Maitre. May you find much enjoyment, and satisfaction in your new role. May you continue to serve the community in this capacity for many years to come.”
Demoiselle Psyche had good memories, “ Master Brinker participated in my initiation, and brought great skill and good humor to the proceedings, as well as patience with my lag, He will make a great Maitre.”
Maitre Dusty spoke out, “ It's been a pleasure watching Brinker as he progressed up through the ranks and accomplishing all the goals expected of those who go above and beyond. I am proud that he wants to give back to the community and that he has attained that level or proficiency and look forward to great things from him in the near future.”

Brinker Leigh shakes Thomas's hand and winks at the handsake. Thomas says with a full voice .."Please replace that tag with your Maitre Tag, brother."

“I am thankful to Loki and Norma for helping me in my Maitre final scene... and I would ask the gorgeous Norma, who won my heart playing "O" from the book, to speak please. She is an amazing girl, with a great sense of humor and style. Norma, you are up.”

Courtesan Sister Norma goes to the stage, turns around, and faces the gathered members of our community on this auspicious occasion. "Thank you Maitre Brinker. Greetings Maitres, Masters, Sirs, Sisters, Demoiselles, Debutantes, and Guests.
"Unlike Shakespeare, 'The Story of O' doesn’t lend itself to adaptation easily. Since the Maitre finals are based on scenes from that book, it is up to the prospective Maitre to lend their own personal creativity to the scene they have chosen.
"I was honored when then Master Brinker asked Master Loki and me to participate in his last log task. We both knew him from his quick witted responses during 'Improv for Everyone,' and his welcome visits to 'Cocktails & Coquettes.'
”His Maitre workshop, “Creating Creative Scenes” took place a little over a year ago. In it he delved into the various aspects of making a scene better and how creativity comes into play.Allowing for audience suggestions brought in a more interactive feel to the workshop during which he displayed his own wit and wisdom on the subject.
“Maitre Brinker’s creativity came through during his Maitre demonstration “Food in BDSM Play,” which I attended on May 1st of this year in the chateau kitchen. With Kat as his able assistant, he proceeded to show the fun aspects of using items like grapes, chocolate, bananas, and an interactive demonstration using whipped cream.The piece de resistance was using Kat as a human sushi buffet.”
“Naturally, when someone so creative asks you to scene with them, under any circumstances, you say 'Yes, and…'
“As many times as we read 'The Story of O,' or rewatch the movie, we find new things to explore and question.Maitre Brinker brought his view to the table and was able to recreate his chosen scene with the strength of character and ability one expects from a dominant of Roissy Val d’Oise. Our prior conversations were just to make sure we were all on the same page, but we all knew the content quite well and the experience was very fulfilling.I felt that we embodied the characters and were fully immersed in the situation.
“I was happy to be a part of Maitre Brinker’s journey here at Roissy and know he will be a wonderful example of dominant leadership.Congratulations Maitre Brinker and thank you for 'using' me. "
As Norma ends her speech and sits, Maitre Brinker smiles and blows a kiss with the handshake to the charming Norma... "Thanks-- using you is quite an understatement"
“And now for my next speaker....I have had a classy mentor since starting here many years ago-- the outstanding Auburn football fan and fair-to-midling golfer -- Taylor Smitty. He is a true gentleman and a gracious Maitre to all. Thomas has offered to deliver his speech for him today. Thomas?”

Maitre Thomas stands and acknowledges the crowd, "Thank you for allowing me to speak today and it's always nice to see the famille gathered in unity.”
Maitre Thomas begins to speak Maitre Taylor’s words.
"I'd like to start by saying that I have known Master Brinker for quite some time and from day one he has been a well mannered yet driven Dominant who expresses himself in a clear and concise fashion when dealing with me and other Dominants. I like his style, he comes across as stately and factual, always one to be trusted.
"Now having said all those things, I have listened in on a few of his scenes and talked to a girl or two about their interactions with him. As it turns out he is also quite the kinkster that knows how to bring the thrill when handling our submissives.
"Upon his Maitre path, Brinker has taken his time and done it the right way with patience and focus. He should be commended for this.
“At this point I am all out of fancy words and phrases but just know, Brinker, I consider you a friend."
He turns to the admins, "I fully endorse this man. He is deserving of being called Maitre here at Roissy Val d'Oise."

With a twinkle in his eyes, Maitre Brinker addresses the gathered Family.
“I soundly appreciate your gracious words and great help, Taylor, Norma, Thomas, Quin, Kat, Kally, Emma, Q, Loki, Ruth, and others— for getting me to this point. I had to take a 2-year break a few years ago, as things got crazy in Real Life. So I may be breaking Opie’s record for the longest duration from Dom Intern to Maitre. Is there a plaque for 'Taking So Long?'
“When you become a Maitre or an O here at Roissy, you look at sim life differently. It’s not the same set of challenges that you had before. Instead, you are expected to be a leader and set an example. I hope I can do that in the spirit my predecessors have.”
“I know not every Maitre is on the campus every day, but they are here at important times — and often in the Chateau when the sim is quiet trying to drum up role play. Maitres are no longer required to fill out a log, but instead to lead and help those who are. To answer questions. To help and dismiss at workshops with, hopefully, the wisdom and experience we’ve gained here.
“Indeed, René has created a most unusual D/s learning experience here at Roissy Val d’Oise. No other Story of O sim is even close, nor is any other BDSM community. I give Thomas, Gillian, Dom, Kurt, Sana, Taylor, and all the senior leadership — including the Samois Sisters — tremendous credit for maintaining these high standards day after day.
“So, thank you, Roissy VdO, for bringing me to this elevated point in my Second Life. I hope I can live up to the job ahead.
“Before I finish, I want to give a special wave to the talented musician, Courtesan Sister, and my sub before I left, Keira Rhapsody. She supported me lovingly through my early days here. She has gone on to become one of SL's most successful fashion models, having won many awards in this competitive industry.
“I will conclude by saying thank you everyone for coming! ... We are indeed a family of brothers and sisters, and I am truly honored to be a part of this family, headed by the incomparable René.” *looks over to him with a smile*

“It is with great pleasure that we promote Master Brinker to Maitre status.He has contributed much To the community as he has accomplished his tasks with many of you. It is a great honor To have him join the ranks of our most esteemed members and we look forward to great things as he continues to contribute his leadership an d guidance toward our community's growth. I am certain that he will continue to provide those qualities to the rest of our Members as he gives back.

Maitre Rene then looks out at the community….
“As our community continues to work together and grow, we hope each of you are enjoying yourselves, realizing fulfillment in your dreams and are finding Roissy a place you can call home.Thank you all for being here today for this wonderful celebration and I hope that you continue to contribute To the success of ROissy Val d'Oise!Thanks again everyone.”
Maitre Brinker acknowledges Maitre Rene, “ I am honored that you attended today, brother and founder René.”
Maitre Rene then asks Maitre Thomas to dismiss everyone.

Amid many cheers of congratulations, Maitre Dusty reminds everyone of the celebratory dance in the ballroom, with DJ Emma providing the tunes.
"You are all dismissed. Now to the garden, lets go dance, drink and be merry."
