The feelings of joy and camraderie grew fast and exuberantly as well-wishers, including Maitre René himself, packed the seats and cushions in the Chateau Patio.
W E L C O M I N G D O M I N A N T
Thomas finally quieted people enough to get started, “Welcome all my friends and a hearty thank you for joining us this morning (or whatever time zone you are in) as we celebrate the perseverance that Chicago has shown to complete his journey and achieve his full Master tag, and now joins the ranks of the many fine Masters of Roissy Val D'Oise.
“This is our first ceremony in the newly remodeled patio and it looks wonderful, many thanks to Julie for all her effort.
“Of the many traditions at Roissy Vald'Oise, the master graduation is certainly one of the most significant events that not only reaffirms what the sim is about, but also adds to our family with a new Master of the Chateau.
“After applicants receive their Dominant role and begin work on their path task, it is much like any other journey where one seeks to learn and complete work and yet learn a great deal about themselves and the others around them. They find the others around them, both Dominants and submissives alike teaching one another from their wealth of wisdom.
“At Roissy Val d'Oise, we believe that being a Master of the Chateau is an achievement to be truly earned through hard effort, education and practical experience exercising new concepts. We ask our Dominants to demonstrate their diligence in learning about our culture here at VdO and BDSM in general, to express their knowledge and understanding of critical components in this lifestyle and to exhibit skill in building creative, enjoyable and erotic scenes with the submissive women in our community. I will be asking Chicago to join me and the other Masters of the Chateau to uphold our core values.
As with anything in life, not everyone who begins this journey completes it. Those who do complete this path, citing a various amount of reasons. Those who complete the journey do so because they don't give up when the going gets a little tough. They keep moving forward, and learn and grow. Many come here looking for a chance to have good role-play; most that make it through to earn their Master's tag discover much more than that. They discover a chance to learn, or re-learn about themselves and about D/s Relationships and BDSM concepts in a warm, encouraging growing community that takes it's heart from the Story of O.
“The Dominant to Master path has many tasks, but it is not the actual tasks that matter it is what is learned by doing them. Learning about themselves and what they feel inside about Dominance and how they interact with the best submissives anywhere.
Thomas smiles, "Of course I mean the Submissives of Roissy Val d;Oise, Thank you ladies without you, we are just watching sports and maybe drinking too much."
"Allow me to describe some of Chicago's journey at Roissy. Approximately, 2 years ago, an admin hired ChicagoSax to perform at Roissy. Through the years, we have enjoyed his music and he has enjoyed our close family atmosphere.
“Chicago grew to know that Roissy is a class act, and had something to offer him that he had not explored before. His Dominant nature. He was also influenced to join by one of our Admins, as they danced together and you know who that is.” Thomas turns to Xanadu, whispers, "Nice job Xan" Xanadu smiles upward
“Some more details of his path. Chicago started his path 9/22/2018. He was given a tour by our, Ita. He gave many tours himself, including Ciara and Alika. His mentor was assigned, our own Petra.”

Thomas smiles “now comes the fun part. Chicago, please step up here with me, my brother.” Thomas walks over to him, offering him the ring. "We are honored to have you in our community as we are with the rest of our family here. I know that you will continue the hard work you have demonstrated so far as you continue this next part of your journey in our community. Chicago on behalf of Rene, I give this to you as well as one who now joins the ranks of the Masters of the Chateau." and smiles and offers my hand to Chicago.
"Thank you, Thomas, for your kind words, and thank you all for attending my Masters Ceremony!" Chicago holds out my hand, and I grasp the ring tightly between my fingers. I gaze for a moment at its golden aura and notice the signet, bearing the emblem of Roissy.
“In all honesty, since joining the family, I’ve noticed this on other Masters and Maitres. I’ve also paid close attention to how they conduct themselves, and I’ve used their example as a blueprint as I moved along my path - striving and working hard toward the day when I was able to be worthy of wearing one.”
“Well Chicgao, We are all proud of you and now, Rene has a few words to say. Your floor Rene, my friend.
P R O P R I E T A I R E ‘ S C O N F I R M E N T
“Thanks Thomas.” René smiles and stuffs the paper back into his pocket, and crosses to stand beside the chair of the new Master and speaks to those gathered. “Welcome to this austere occasion, when one of our Dominants crosses the threshold into Master. By being here, each of you show you are proud of our community and want to support the successes of our members
“For this, I thank you, this warms my heart.” René lays his hand upon Chicago shoulder and gives a firm squeeze. "Congratulations my friend!” and Chicago in turn looks over to our benefactor Rene, smiles, and nods.
“You stand here before us, worthy of crossing this threshold and receiving the privileged title of Roissy Val d'Oise Master. Well done Chicago.” Rene puts on two songs on the radio.................... smiles and waits, as Chicago says, ““I’ll wear this title and ring proudly and with integrity and honor.”
“Chicago wanted a song for his Master Ceremony - Kool & The Gang – Celebration
Chicago was also a part of one of the world best bands when one of my favorite songs was born - Saturday in the Park. Thanks for the wonderful amazing music my friend.” Rene asks them all listen to those two songs
As they all listen, people react in turn. Its cleans tears running down her face...
Dusty begins to clap to the music. Xanadu chuckles. Gillian resists the urge to jump up and dance ..chuckles. Tzeitel whispers "do it Gilliant.... do it!” Others pipe up with an assortment of happy comments.
As the music winds down, Rene smiles and look at Chicago “This you have done, my good man. Even if your journey deterred you out among other paths, you found your way back with renewed loyalty and commitment to prove who and what you truly are — a Master of Roissy Val d'Oise. I hope you continue to reach high and seek a deeper journey, and see far in the distance as you continue to grow and dream big.
Chicago grooves and looks back at Rene, who announces, “Ladies and Gentleman, I present to you, Master Chicago!”
After a long swell of rousing cheers, René breaks in, “Please continue Thomas.”
Thomas smiles, “Over to your speakers, Chicago.”
Acknowledging the applause and thanking everyone, Chicago begins, ”My first guest speaker is my outstanding mentor, Petra, who offered me invaluable advice and let me “do my thing.” I look forward to remaining under her tutelage. I've learned much from you, Petra! Your improvisational roleplay events at the Pub are a great training aid, refreshing and fun for us all. Please if you will Petra”

Petra rises and nods to the nw Master, “It is with great joy and pride that I stand to say a few words about my mentee and now Master Chicagosax.
“I knew Chicago long before he came to Roissy. He was an entertainer at my sim Steele Street where I first came to admire his talents as a musician. I remember being somewhat surprised to see him here as I had no inkling for his predeliction for the culture and practices of BDSM. When acting as his mentor was offered to me, I as anxious to take it on and I stand here now to tell you that I am very glad I did
“It has been a pleasure to mentor someone of Chicago's intelligence, sensitivity and talents. From the very beginning he let it be known to me that no challenge was too arduous on his way to becoming a Master of Roissy. With a disposition that was completely open to learning, and learning from a woman, no less, Chicago took on his tasks with enthusiasm and aplomb.
“Although I did take note that you credited as your influences only Masters and Maitres,” she smiles. “After sharing some of the scenes I'd written with him, Chicago began to write good and interesting scenarios of his own much to the gratification of the submissive he worked with.,
“It should also be taken note of that Chicago found a home at Roissy very quickly and soon became a favorite member of the community taking part in many aspects in the functioning of the sim.
“It is with the greatest pleasure that I celebrate his ascension to the level of Master today,. Congratulations Chicago, Home run.”
Petra resumes her seat, as Chicago turns to her and smiles in glee.

"My second speaker will be Norma, with whom I did my final. Norma, with her excellent improv skills, used her talent and displayed her ability to react and respond during our roleplay scene, knowing precisely what to say to bring it to life."
Norma smiles at Sir Chicago and rises to face the group. “Greetings to Maitre Rene', all the Maitres, Masters, Sirs, Sisters, Dems, Debs, and Familie.”
“Since it was not very long ago that I stood in front of you to become a sister. I was more than honored when Maitre Thomas asked me if I might like to be on his list of sisters that do final tasks. Helping the dominants of Roissy on their paths is something I sincerely wanted to do.
“I of course said yes and hoped the opportunity would present itself. I was pleasantly surprised when it did that same day. Although I didn’t know Sir Chicago very well prior to the scene, we did have several opportunities to sit down and get to know one another better.
“I had been to some of his musical sets in the gardens so I knew he had a playful nature the way he and Master Wick teased each other back and forth mercilessly.
And I'm sure many of you have a story about Sir Chicago's jokes and puns. He always has a good time when he’s onstage or when he’s dancing to another musician or singer.
Don’t we all wonder how he and Xanadu manage to get such great matching outfits for Sadie’s theme dances? That made for a good start of feeling comfortable with him in general. The fact that he lived 90 miles from where I spent most of my life also provided a sense of Midwestern compatibility. He knew some of the famous German restaurants in Milwaukee, so familiarity continued.
We were both brought up in the same faith, and both had long histories of performing, him as a musician and me as an actor, improv and standup comic. It was not hard to feel a sense of kinship and trust needed to move forward.
We discussed my limits, and he even took the time to put mine into spreadsheet form so he could sort them from 5’s to Nos. He was well aware of my limits, etc. and we discussed aftercare as well. By the time of the final, I felt that we had established a good rapport and sense of trust and were ready to take on the task. Sir Chicago prepared the scene set up carefully with me in full French Maid uniform.
“We started in the Chateau kitchen with a surprise guest, and then eventually proceeded to the dungeon where he had other parts of the final prepared but unknown to me.” winks at Master Wick. “These were things for us to experience on our own under Sir Chicago's full control and shared only with Maitre Thomas.
“I had a very good experience with Sir Chicago and felt that he really paid attention to detail and felt that I was getting an experience tailor-made for me and my particular needs and limits. He has many qualities that inspire trust and respect such as patience and confidence. He showed himself to be responsible and caring in his dealings with me.
“I will be always grateful that I have been allowed to be helpful to him on his path. It was my pleasure and honor to do so and I will be happy to call him Master Sax.” a chuckle from Chicago…”Thank you Maitre René for our lovely home, Maitre Thomas for trusting me to serve, and Master Sax for sharing this experience with me.’” and Norma returns to her cushion
Chicago stands and Smiles to her: " Thank you, Norma, for assisting in making my finals proceed as “smooth as silk. I’ll never forget those hours of spending the time getting to know each other."
“Well—“ Looks at Xanadu, “Yes Master. Thank you Master Chicago.”

And Xanadu rises to speak on Chicago’s behalf. Greetings Maitre Rene Maitre Thomas .. Maitres Maitresses Masters Mistresses Sirs Misses and Ladies"
“I will begin by saying this .. "It is always an honor to be asked to speak on behalf of another " .. smiled to Master Chicago .. "and even more special that we are sharing this day together !!"
"Our Honoree today is Master Chicago .. He and i first met formally in October. Although having preformed here earlier back when he first came to Roissy as an entertainer . "
Xanadu recalls our earliest of conversations .. “I quickly realized He really was a great guy and one I was interested in knowing better . We have chatted many times having had like interests .. and quickly formed a bond."
She turned and smiled to him "Master Chicago is one Dominant I would go to with out hesitation for needed assistance or advice. I will add if you didn't attend His Master's workshop: *Dominance Vs. Abuse* .. you should. Once beginning His path .. he showed his shy side being reserved and quiet .. but always very much a gentleman. As many of you have experienced or may have heard from others.
"His questions were always sincere and it was evident he is and was prepared to help others .. that again was a great point to me as well as his dedication here to entertain us . I have seen his growth and his eagerness to strengthen his role as a Dominant. Master Chicago reached forward and pulled his Dominance to the surface. As many here can confirm .. his role play is fun and challenging.
"As any loyal Dominant of Roissy should .. He is always willing to assist anyone on their path doing scenes.. a discussion or simply just talking. Master Chicago has shown he is a Dominate who will guide his submissive safely while being sensitive and caring. He has became a strong confident Dominate ".. turns smiles to him .. " remembering his words while reviewing of my limits in out discussion."
"In closing .. I will add also .. to insure a relaxed relationship with others here .. it always helps for both the Dominates and submissives to take the time to reach forward to others ... especially to our Interns and Debutantes.
"It is each of our places to insure prospective members feel comfortable and at ease during their time here . It is not uncommon for some to perhaps feel unsure of their new place here in our community and offer to assist with their task logs.” She turned and smiled to Master Chicago .. "It pleases me to see that you have become an honored Master of Roissy Val D' Oise Congratulations Master Chicago."
She returned to her cushion ... knelt and offered a sincere smile to Him.

Chicago stands and looks to the audience, "Allow me to share something about me, that only a few know."
"Before coming to Roissy, I had received some formal workshop training in D/s, with a man named Master Zeal, owner and instructor of the now-defunct “Zealot's Academy of BDSM.” I was introduced to Zeal, by my good friend Lady Catz who’s not in the audience here today. After he closed up shop and left the grid, I shelved the idea of pursuing the lifestyle in Second Life and went back to running my club.
"I first came here as an entertainer a couple of years ago. I observed the familie connections and was so impressed that I decided to get into the program here. As was stated in a recent discussion, there is something within us that has brought us here to Roissy.
"I think of it as the glue that holds this community together. Because we're here together, it's an indication that we share an innate need to explore our souls and have discovered that one of our desires is to experience or ‘feed the need’ to pursue either Domination, submission, or in some cases both. Rene has kindly provided us with this highly enjoyable place, called Roissy Val D’Oise which is often imitated but never duplicated. It is our home."
"Roissy allows us to be able to practice our chosen lifestyle in a Safe, Sane, and Consensual manner. Here, we can allow it to bubble up into our Second Life because we are family and have found this connection with each other. We observe the Four Pillars of Roissy and treat each other with respect. We learn, thanks to the scores of very informative and essential workshops. I encourage you to attend as many as possible, even though they’re all not required in our paths. We interact. We dance together, party together, and even joke a bit, (offers a grin and a quick salute to Wick) - and yes, in our own ways, we love each other.
"We also must remember to maintain the essential traits of HONESTY and INTEGRITY. A good, righteous person understands that life is all about sharing and caring. As I look out into this gathering, I can only smile, because all I see are the faces of good people."
“I’ve already mentioned Rene, but I would also like to thank the Administrators: Thomas, Xanadu” – and he smiles, “Happy Rezday again Xanadu, mine is Monday by the way, - and Dom, and Petra who oversee our efforts and provide us with the steps to move forward and understand the essence of our paths.
"There are many more I can acknowledge: My fellow Dominants, the debutantes, demoiselles, and sisters whose names would fill the phone book of any small town. However, time doesn’t allow me that luxury. This weekend not only brings with it my Master’s Ceremony, but the first day of Summer, and My Rezday. There are many events coming up. Stay abreast of them by consulting the calendar.”
"In closing, there is one more thing I’d like to say.
“You’ve reached through your screens and touched my heart, and at times made me laugh out loud. You’ve stimulated my brain and put fire in my soul. I thank you all for being here. Earlier, I mentioned Greedy tables: - Rene, I’d like to offer you this donation, so that you can burn that one and replace it with one the lets you and I win a few games now and then.“
(Laughter from the gaming people)
“Rene Please come up and accept this gift with my deepest gratitude.“
René comes forward, “hmm Greedy yes - puts on our Greedy song - 25 Or 6 To 4— Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww thanks a lot my friend.” Rene looks at Chicago, “ thank you for your generosity .. it was not expected but i accept it with gratitude.”
Xanadu smiles upward to them both during the exchange, as Chicago smiles “an honor, René”
“I dont know what to say my friend - thanks again,” and Rene return to his chair - listen to our Greedy song
“And thank you for what you do for Roissy and our familie. “Chicago turns to Thomas, “Thomas, how about us tossing back a flute of that vintage bubbly you have chilling? I think It’s time to CELEBRATE !”

Thomas hops up and stretches my legs, "Yes..its time indeed" and pours us two flutes of vintage Moet Imperial He raps the glass with my ring, "Everyone grab a glass of champagne to toast the new Master. To Master Chicago!"
(Many boisterous cheers, toasts, congratulatory outburst)
After the toasts subside, Thomas takes a long drink, realizing I was thirsty after all those wonderful speeches. I also wish to take the opportunity to also thank Rene, for providing al of this for us, for having the vision to bring us all together, we are a large diverse group with many things to share, and It warms my heart for having all of this to share with each and everyone. Thank you so much for attending. We are all proud of Chicago..
“Now we have Chicago's Celebration Dance with Vocalist: Collin Martin, at 1:30 in the ballroom. You are all dismissed. See you all there.”
