Squeezing into the pool patio behind the Chateau from all sides, people enjoyed the summery Sunday afternoon with greetings and assorted ribbings. Finally, the MC, Thomas Xue, motions with his arms like a quarterback on the goal line to quiet them down.
W E L C O M I N G D O M I N A N T
"Welcome all my friends and a warm thank you for joining us this afternoon/evening as we celebrate the perseverance that Denis has shown to complete his journey and achieve his full Master tag, and now joins the ranks of the many esteemed Masters of Roissy Val D'Oise.
"After applicants receive their Dominant role and begin work on their path task, it is much like any other journey where one seeks to learn and complete their work Sometimes eagerly or too eagerly, speaking in general.
"They learn a great deal about themselves and the others around them. They find the others around them, both Dominants and submissives alike teaching one another from their wealth of wisdom and realize that they can learn something, no matter how knowledgeable they believe themselves to be.
"At Roissy Val d'Oise, we believe that being a Master of the Chateau is an achievement to be truly earned through hard effort, education and practical experience exercising new concepts. We ask our Dominants to demonstrate their diligence in learning about our culture here at VdO and BDSM in general, to express their knowledge and understanding of critical components in this lifestyle and to exhibit skill in building creative, enjoyable and erotic scenes with the submissive women in our community.
"As with anything in life, not everyone who begins this journey completes it. Those who do complete it do so because they don't give up, they keep moving forward. Many come here looking for a chance to have good role-play; most that make it through to earn their Master's tag discover much more than that. They discover a chance to learn, or re-learn about themselves and about D/s Relationships and BDSM concepts in a warm, encouraging growing community that takes it's heart from the Story of O."

He turns, "Denis please stand"
"Before I turn the floor over to Denis and his guest speakers, I wish to present his Master ring that has been made for the Masters of Roissy VDO." He walks over to him, offering him the ring. "We are honored to have you in our community as we are with the rest of our family here. I know that you will continue the hard work you have demonstrated so far as you continue this next part of your journey in our community. I am proud of you Denis, as we all are today"
Thomas smiles.."On behalf of Rene, I give this to you as well as one who now joins the ranks of the Masters of the Chateau." Ny smiles proudly and claps as Master Denis gets his ring.
After a long and loud set of cheers, Thomas grasps his hand firmly, shaking it, "Denis, the floor is yours, my brother."
Denis turns to face the audience and takes a deep breath. "I would like to welcome everyone and thank you all for your support. I see a lot of faces of people that have made Roissy a great place to explore my dominant side and learn more about myself and BDSM at the same time. There is one in particular that I would like to thank before we get to the speakers and that is Chicagosax. Chicago helped me a great deal when I first started here and I am in his debt."
Denis covertly checks his notes and looks up again. "Now to introduce my mentor, Loki. I knew Loki a little bit before I came to Roissy, but I am glad that I got the chance to get to know him much better as my mentor. Having said that, it's time for a few words from my mentor and friend, Loki. Loki the floor is yours"
M E N T O R ‘ S S P E E C H
Loki tands and winks at Ny, mouths, "did it" then he strides over and takes his mentee, taking his hand firmly, "Thank you Denis" Loki moves to the center, nods to Thomas then looks around the assembly of friends and family with a smile.
"I'm delighted to be here today on this warm sunny patio with all of you supporting Denis as he joins the ranks of Roissy masters, an honor he has well earned.
"I always appreciated how balanced, patient and caring for his friends and family he is, keeping it all in his control. Despite calls on his time, he made steady determined progress on his logs for Roissy.. With his usual mathematical precision he knocked off each step of his logs confidently and calmly. Although we talked regularly he made me work very little; we have generally chatted about life and relationships. He has been a good friend who I am always happy to see.
"Watching him on the sim and with Ny, it is easy to see how dedicated he is, considerate, calm, a firm leader with a clear sense of who he is and what he wants. Equally in his log, he knew where he wished to go, and how to care for submissives. As he finished his scenes, he came with a clear idea for a workshop which rapidly grew into 'Psychology, Perception and BDSM,' a truly deep and fascinating look at how culture and psychology look at BDSM today and how that has been changing.
"Since I met Denis, I have never had a doubt that he had what was needed to be a master here in Roissy. He is confident, compassionate and in control both of himself and of the submissives he works with. I'm proud to be both his mentor and his friend.
"Congratulations to you Denis, you have well earned the title of Master of Roissy Val d'Oise, and are a great asset to our community." Loki turns, takes Denis' hand, giving it a firm shake before returning to his seat.
Denis stands with a big smile on my face. "Thank you Loki for your kind words and support along the way." Denis turns to look at Yvette and my smile grows even larger. "When Thomas gave me the name of the Sister that I would do my final with I did not know quite what to expect. I had talked to her on a superficial level a bit, but I didn't feel that I knew her that well."
"I can now say that I couldn't be happier that she was the one that I shared that experience with. I feel that we meshed really well during the final and I now count her as one of my best friends at Roissy. So, without further ado, Yvette, do you want to say a few words?"
F I N A L S C E N E S I S T E R S P E E C H
Yvette stands, "I surely DOO!!!" laughs
"I had the honor and privilege to do Master Denis'..final with him...feels very good to say 'Master'! Turns to smile to him, then begins..
"When I realized I would be doing his final, I wasnt sure what to expect..smiles. This was my first time, doing a final, and I was hoping to not disappoint. I needn't have worried. From the very start to the very end, the time went quickly, surprised when it was completed.
"Master Denis pays close attention to detail, our negotiation, left nothing out, and the rp that followed, was amusing, thought provoking, tantalizing, and I can literally, go on and on. Those that know me, are aware of what an impact rp can have on a scene, as I love to scene, and Master Denis, was not, not, lacking in any regard.
"There are some Dominants with the ability to put a sub at ease, quickly, effortlessly, bringing, in its wake..trust. After dancing for 2 hours, discussing everything, I had found myself opening up, laughing, and enjoying the time, feeling quite ready to take on the task at hand.
"I have to honestly say, I'm more than happy, that this pinnacle has been reached. I've known both Master Denis and Ny some time, moreso just recently. Knowing that he now joins the rank of Master, along with our other Roissy Masters, is very well deserved.
"Thank you Master Denis, for making this final, a memorable one. You have put much time and effort into your path, and are deserving of the accolades for your endeavor...smiles, kissing your cheek...Congratulations...Master Denis!!"
She smiles and returns to the cushion, hearing loud applause.
"Thank you Yvette for your kind words and for making my final feel like the time flew by." He stands and looks at the audience again. "Now that Loki and Yvette have spoken, we can all go to the dance.." *looks at his notes again and sighs.* "I guess I am supposed to say a few words as well. Depending on the day of the week I can be described as taciturn or loquacious. We'll see which I am today."
Yvette whispers,"you deserve it all Master!"
M A S T E R S P E E C H
Denis gives a stern look to the subs chanting "taciturn, taciturn" and they giggle and chuckle. "Before I get too far into this, I would like to thank Rene for providing this beautiful sim and wonderful community for us to enjoy.
"I would also like to thank you, Thomas, for all the work you put in making this sim run and reviewing all the logs of the dominants to make it possible for us to advance on paths.
"There is one more person that I need to thank before I get started. I would not be involved with Roissy if it had not been for Ny. Before I joined, she would bring me here for dances and since we had to do 'Deb' dances because I wasn't a member I knew I had to join." Ny smiles and giggles about deb dances, remembering those
"Now I can begin the speech and there is no longer any chance of being taciturn. Almost a year and a half ago, I started the Dom Intern path with a little bit of trepidation. At the time I was not sure that I was a dominant and I felt that everyone here knew much more about BDSM than I did. I had done some random scenes, but felt that joining the community here was going to be my first real experience in the lifestyle.
"It turns out that the paths and community here were the perfect place for me to discover my innate dominance. The submissives that I have interacted with made every scene feel more comfortable with letting that aspect of my nature free. I am aware that I have more work to do, but I am glad I made the decision to start. Easing into the role as an intern was the perfect way to start despite my eagerness to get past that stage for some unknown reason.
"I have a confession to make. While writing this speech I looked at some of the past Master's speeches. The thing that I learned by doing that is that some of you guys can really talk! Even on my most talkative days I don't think I could match some of you.
"Before I finish, I want to thank everyone again for being here today. But most of all I would like to thank you all for making Roissy a great, safe and welcoming place to explore, learn and practice BDSM. And thank you all for making this day even more special." He turns to smile at Thomas. "I think everyone is ready for champagne rather than listening to me prattle on, so I give the floor back to you."
[Long cheers and applause]
Thomas stands and claps my hands, "Nicely done, Denis. We shall have to speak later about this Mathematical precision thing"
This set off a long, funny banter about math and disciple, with Norma saying, "didn't count on there being any math involved" and Denis finishing with " Yes, I discipline Ny using physics equations"
S U M M A R Y A N D T O A S T
Finally, Thomas walks over to the chilling champagne, and pops open the always classic Dom Pérignon, 57' vintage, spilling some on the tile.
Ny nudges Mia and points to the spill and then winks knowing we'd get in trouble for spilling but we'll still have to clean it.
"We are truly grateful for all each of you have done, help denis along on his path. Please everyone grab a glass of champagne to toast the new Master. To Denis!" and everyone toasts him with gusto.
"I also wish to take the opportunity to also thank Rene, for providing all of this for us, for having the vision to bring us all together, (and the booze of course)."
Thomas akes a long drink of the fine Champagne, "Thank you al for joining us here, to celebrate with Denis, your support is well appreciated always." He swirls the glass to see what is left, "Now for more fun...Please join us in the garden at 3pm, for Denis's celebration dance featuring Wolfie Starfire. That's in about 10 minutes."
"Almost long enough for Ny to make it to the garden with the laptop she has," adds Denis.
Loki looks at his watch then at Denis, "efficient!"
Thomas finshes with "Everyone is dismissed now, lets go celebrate!"
