A crisp autumn day the family gathered to celebrate Sir Johan's advancement to Master at Roissy Val d'Oise.
Maitre Thomas, the dominant supervisor stood.. clearing his throat to get everyone's attention.
Welcome to all, friends and guests alike. Thank you for joining us today as we celebrate the perseverance that Johan has shown to complete his journey and achieve his full Master tag, and now joins the ranks of the many fine Masters of Roissy Val D'Oise.
T H E C O N F I R M E N T
After Dominant Interns receive their Dominant role and begin work on their path task, it is like any other journey where one seeks to learn and complete work and yet learn a great deal about themselves and the others around them.
They find the others around them, both Dominants and submissives alike teaching one another from their wealth of wisdom. Being a Master at Roissy Val d'Oise requires dedication to our ideas and customs, and its also reflection of the Dominant's maturity and intregrity. These are ideals we take very much to heart here at Roissy.
Johan, has interacted well with our family and has worked diligently toward this goal and does understand our ideals here. For that, you have my gratitude and respect, Johan.
Not everyone who begins this journey completes it. Those who do complete it do so because they don't give up, they keep moving forward. Many come here looking for a chance to have good role-play; most that make it through to earn their Master's tag discover much more than role play, rather they discover a chance to learn, or re-learn about themselves and about D/s Relationships and BDSM concepts in a warm, encouraging growing community that takes it's heart from the Story of O.
Johan, on behalf of Rene, I give this ring to you as well as one who now joins the ranks of the Masters of the Chateau..
Master Johan stands and shakes Thomas' hand, accepting the ring and slipping it onto his finger with a smile "Thank you my friend, thank you Thomas."
"I know that you will continue the hard work you have demonstrated so far as you continue this next part of your journey in our community."There is someone that is rather special for today that I need to introduce, Master Chicago Sax. Chicago noticed that my previous mentor was one who was no longer with Roissy. Immediately he engaged me to offer his services and to take me under his wing. I hope I've been a rather mild mentee, but without his guidance and reviewing of my rp logs, I wouldn't be standing here with this ring on my finger today. Thank you for your friendship, mentorship, and guidance. I am proud to call you brother. Ladies and Gentleman, I give you Chicago to say a few words."

Chicagosax Resident stands and nods to Johan and Thomas and then turns to address the gathering. “This is indeed an auspicious occasion.”
“When Johan asked me to speak on his behalf at this ceremony, I was quite surprised and honored, as I haven't been mentoring him for all that long. Usually a Master takes on a Dominant mentee when they start their paths.”
"After discovering he was without a mentor, I volunteered and offered to assist Johan through the balance of his Master's path. We took the time to sit and talk, and get to know each other better."

Chicagosax turns and offers a a firm handshake, a smile and a wink to Johan as he returns to his chair.

The next person I would like to introduce is Sister Rosa, you were one of the first flirtatious dances I got to do as a newly minted Dominant throwing off his Intern Tag. We enjoyed the dance as well as the flirting in IM's and promises of play. "
"We flirted back and forth and even got a brief snuggle in at the chateau, but unfortunately RL interrupted the major scene we had planned out. Fate however, worked in mysterious ways and I was given your name as the Sister for my final."
" I don't think I could have been any more excited when Thomas assigned you to me unless it was Scarlet Johannsen herself. Thomas asked if that was alright, and I was overjoyed letting him know that we'd been trying to scene together for quite some time. "
" Your excellence as a Sister and submissive is both a great representation of our SIM here as well as a reflection on your owner. My thanks again to him for the borrowing of you, I hope returned to him in as good as condition as I was given you,
Rosa if you would please, I'd be honored to have you say a few words,"
Rosa stood and address the family.
"Sir Johan was very quick to contact me when he found out who has been assigned to his Final. I remember he shared his enthusiasm and excitement by the following, and I quote: "::puts a pin on her dress:: "I get to Be Johan's Final" ", turns to wink at Sir Johan.
: Sir Johan and I already had a history, not formally for any logs, but informally. We've spent some time with each other since earlier this year, and we were quick to feel a connection to each other.
Every time we crossed paths, for however short period of time, we always left each other with a smile, looking forward to the next time we would see each other. So on that very day that Sir Johan informed me I would be his Final, I was elated!
Sir Johan took the time to have a thorough pre-scene discussion with me to talk about my limits. He even inquired on some very specific things that were not listed in my Limits notecard, but that were actually soft limits for me. (After this...I actually updated my limits card, so thank you, Sir Johan! glances over to him and offers him a warm smile).
I left the pre-scene discussion with full trust and confidence in Sir Johan. I also was left with a great anticipation of what was to come. Sir Johan was able to discuss some very specific things, without giving away his plan.
Throughout the scene, I had no doubts of who was in control and I had no worries under his care. Sir Johan was caring, demanding, commanding, thorough, and a gentleman, throughout it all.
He was also very creative during his task in order to push some of my limits. Sir Johan was very attentive to my needs and provided all the necessary check-ins and aftercare.
It was an honor to be part of our new Master Johan's path and I look forward to what the future holds for this exemplary Dominant.
Thank you Maitre Thomas, for selecting me to participate in this important task. It was such an honor to do so.

The training paths here at Roissy are challenging to say the least." *Awaits laughter*
Its not something that one can do on their own, and they are designed that way on purpose. The community is stronger when it builds bonds and bridges between fellow Dominants as well as Dominants and Submissives. To that end, I have been blessed with both formal and informal mentors here during my time so far at Roissy Val d'Oise.
I would like to thank Rene first and foremost, for without him, we would not have this wonderful SIM to learn, grow, play, laugh and love within. Thank you for your vision and sharing it with the community here.
Secondly, We have a great staff of Supervisors, Maitres and such who help behind the scenes and sometimes in the front of them, keeping events on schedule, verifying our training paths/logs, and working tirelessly to keep the day to day business of the sim and the needs of the Dominants and Submissives here running.
Thomas, thank you my friend for your hard work and guidance for what you do for us, Thank you for the late night conversations during my 'Why the hell is Johan questioning things" phases, You've been a great asset to Roissy and someone I am very happy to call my friend.
Dom Trifone & James.. Thank you both as well for your leadership and guidance in keeping things running on Roissy.
To the many other Maitres and Maitresses, Loki, Chip, and others., and Masters Dominants and Interns,
Thank you for keeping an eye on me, helping me when I need help, guiding me when I need guidance, challenging me when we don't always see eye to eye, because as diverse as the BDSM community is, we only grow when we not only challenge ourselves, but challenge others to grow as well. Thank you to those who also supported and continued to support me in my future here at Roissy.
I would also like to thank some people that have helped me along the way during my path. Whether it be keeping me motivated to continue, or inspiring me in my writing and play on scene. Ita, newly made Sister.. We actually had a bit of a race as to see who was going to complete this part of our Paths first., she won by a week.
You've been a great friend, lover, muse to inspire my creative juices during scenes. I've loved that we've gotten to know each other better, I've enjoyed our dances, conversations, and even our mild exasperations with each other. I look forward to keeping you as a friend and more here at Roissy.
Norma, you stepped up when I needed a scene at the last minute for my log. You attacked the role enthusiastically and energetically like a true Roissy Submissive is expected. You exemplify the grace and beauty of a submissive at heart. I am wealthier having both you and Loki as my friends and am blessed to continue to enjoy your company.
Asfridr, you were the first O Aspirante' I came across at Roissy, back when I was an Intern. You drew me in to dance, even though I had to behave due to the rules. You were also perfect to scene with for both logs as well as suggesting me to assist with one of your mentees logs. I enjoy your company and look forward to doing what I can to help you on your path towards "O".
Xan, You first voice verified me 10 months ago when I joined Roissy., then you were a calming presence helping me to 'speed.. ok go slower.. ... ok slow down... ok you need to slow down' in my IM's during my Workshop Presentation. She also set up the chairs, cushions, decorated the ballroom and found us a Host for our DJ helping to keep things running behind the scenes for me today. Thank you Xan for being the rock star you are.... And hopefully I've gone slow enough in my speech :)
The ladies who I was honored to serve as Dominant during their Initiations. Thank you for trusting me with your ceremony, thank you for allowing me to provide aftercare to you, and thank you for being you and on the training path here at Roissy.
There are many others that I would not be here if it were not for you but the ceremony would go on for hours if I wrote how special each and every one of you are here to me.
Know that those who've I've scened with, even if its something as minor as a chore or a drink serve, have taught me something through our interaction or helped me to hone and polish my skills,. If we've not had the opportunity, let me know I am almost always able to do any scene with you.
I would like to lastly thank my friends DJ Circus and his lovely wife Puna, for being here today for me for our party. They've been friends of mine for several years, and I hope many many more,

I also wish to take the opportunity to also thank Rene, for providing al of this for us, for having the vision to bring us all together, we are a large diverse group with many things to share, and It warms my heart for having all of this to share with each and everyone.
