The back patio of the Chateau was packed. Last minute arrivals were still calling greetings to one another, as Maitre Thomas Xue called everyone to order.
W E L C O M I N G D O M I N A N T
"Welcome, all my friends, and a warm thank you for joining us this morning as we celebrate the perseverance that Loki has shown to complete his journey and achieve his full Master tag. He now joins the ranks of the many fine Masters of Roissy Val D'Oise," Maitre Thomas opened the ceremony in a ringing voice. "This morning we are blessed with seeing old friends here was well. I'll say from all of the familie, 'Welcome back, we missed you.'"
"After applicants receive their Dominant role and begin work on their path tasks, it can be a daunting, challenging journey where one seeks to learn and complete work and yet learn a great deal about themselves and the others around them. They find the others around them, both Dominants and submissives alike, teaching one another from their wealth of wisdom," Maitre Thomas explained.
Maitre Thomas continued, "At Roissy Val d'Oise, we believe that being a Master of the Chateau is an achievement to be truly earned through hard effort, education and practical experience exercising new concepts. We ask our Dominants to demonstrate their diligence in learning about our culture here at VdO and BDSM in general, to express their knowledge and understanding of critical components in this lifestyle and to exhibit skill in building creative, enjoyable and erotic scenes with the submissive women in our community."
"I, along with all of the family, am proud of Loki. He is a solid member of our community, is well liked and supports the ideals of Roissy," Maitre Thomas turned to glance at Loki with a smile before concluding, "As with anything in life, not everyone who begins this journey completes it. Those who do complete it do so because they don't give up. They keep moving forward. Many come here looking for a chance to have good role-play. Most that make it through to earn their Master's tag discover much more than that. They discover a chance to learn, or re-learn about themselves and about D/s relationships and BDSM concepts in a warm, encouraging, growing community that takes it's heart from the Story of O. I will expect Loki to take on more roles with me as a Master in our brotherhood."
T H E C O N F I R M E N T
As Maitre Thomas walked over to Sir Loki with his hand extended, Sir Loki stood to shake it firmly.
Maitre Thomas half turned to the audience while shaking hands, saying, "Before I turn the floor over to Loki and his guest speakers, I wish to present his Master ring that has been made for the Masters of Roissy VDO. Loki, on behalf of Rene', I give this to you as one who now joins the ranks of the Masters of the Chateau."
Taking the ring, the new Master Loki looked at it carefully and smiled as he slipped it onto his finger. "Thank you, Thomas. This means a great deal to me."
Cries of "Congratulations, Master Loki!" filled the air as Master Loki held the ring out to show off.
"Loki, the floor is yours," said Maitre Thomas, resuming his seat once the cheering died down.
"Thank you, Thomas. Welcome, everyone. I'm delighted this day has come and to see all of you," Master Loki began.
"As I was starting to find my way in Roissy, I noted certain people who I learned from, who I particularly respected after observing how they treated the people around them. One in particular I found myself studying when I had challenges, a true gentleman who was always prepared and thoughtful. When I found myself needing a mentor, I had the good fortune to have him agree to take over as my mentor. He has become a friend as well. For my first speaker I am pleased to introduce James," Master Loki shook Master James' hand and sat down.
M E N T O R ‘ S S P E E C H
Master James shook Master Loki's hand and stood to address the crowd. He cleared and looked out into the beautiful assembly of family and friends. His tone was clear as he said, "I am truly honored to be a part of Loki's special day of advancement into the ranks of Master here at Roissy Val d'Oise. As we have all come to see, Loki is a man of integrity, unselfishness, and high moral character. He possesses the qualities all good Masters should have, and qualities that we should all emulate!
"It was easy to see from the very first time that I met Loki, that he was serious about doing his best to set the supreme example of how a good Dominant, should perform," Master James continued. "While being always considerate of others, Loki remained focused throughout his path, and has worked very hard to accomplish the many required tasks of advancement. With each task Loki displayed his enthusiasm and forthrightness, which uniquely defined him as the man that he is. - A man that we have all come to know and respect. He showed us leadership, along with compassion and empathy when needed, all while remaining in perfect control of himself, and those around him. His natural intuition assists him in always being able to determine the proper amount of caring, guidance and protection needed by our submissives."
Master James went on, "I have had the pleasure of scening with him on more than one occasion, and his attention to detail, imagination and creativity are both impressive and superb. His workshop titled, "Jealousy Happens: Now What?", was well written and engaging. It challenged each of us on how to accept and manage our own jealousy. He reminded us that direct and honest communication is our most effective tool, which indeed applies to all aspects of what we do here."
"There has never been a doubt in my mind that this man has what it takes to be a Master of Roissy Val d'Oise. He was destined to be so, from the moment he entered our community. We are very fortunate to have him with us," Master James concluded.
Master James turned and extended his hand in friendship to Loki, and grasping it hand firmly, said, "Congratulations, Loki, on your well earned ascension to Master of Roissy Val d'Oise! You are a great asset to our community! It is a privilege to know you, and I am honored to have you as my friend!"
Master Loki stood and took James' hand as he replied, "Thank you for your kind words. I'm honored to have your friendship as well."
Master James resumed his seat as Master Loki addressed the crowd, "In my time at Roissy, I had seen and briefly talked to many Sisters and O-Apirantes, but there were a set who simply were not on at the same times as me often and so were mysteries. When Thomas gave me a name to contact for my final, I was initially uncertain, as she was not someone I knew, but after a bit of thought it changed to pleasant surprise.
"I had watched her brilliantly and playfully participate in a demonstration and knew she was well liked by people I trust, and knew she would be a fun challenge," Master Loki explained. "When we talked, she graciously agreed to participate in my final and has been a delight to talk to and plan with. Her role-playing skills were excellent, forcing me to stretch and improve. I'm pleased to introduce a new friend and wonderful person."
"Diamond, the floor is yours," Master Loki said, giving her a little hug. As she stood and smiled at him, he whispered, "Thank you, for all your help."

"Hello again, Maitres, Masters and Sirs, and lovely, submissive ladies," Diamond greeted the crowd. "We all know celebrations are special here at Roissy, and your support by being here for Sir Loki demonstrates just how special each of you are."
"It's well deserved when we make it to this part: a reward for surviving, hanging in there, getting the goal accomplished no matter how small or large the distractions may be. Sir Loki has done just that," Diamond said. "I had no idea what his message would be. We hadn't spoken much besides a hello the times I did see Sir Loki. So, I was pleasantly surprised, but humbled and honored when he asked for my help."
Diamond asked, "Would you like some facts about Sir Loki? To start, he's a gentleman. He always made sure I was okay and we were on the same page before continuing further. Master Loki is detail oriented. Considerate, firm but fair. He likes very much to take control of the situation and I have to say, that didn't bother me at all. It was actually refreshing. He knows his way with a collar, or really paid attention during the collar workshops and applied knowledge. Whichever the case may be on that, I was smiling a lot to know he knew what he was doing and my hand or head didn't pop off."
Diamond paused to smile and give Master Loki a playful wink as he teased, "No parts flying, unless they are clothes, Diamond."
Diamond continued, "Master Loki is humorous and flexible in the fact that he wasn't thrown off by the scene changing a little. It was very enjoyable from beginning to end."
"I love the fact that I was allowed to get to know him and participate in a significant part of his path. I hope to continue to get to know him as he allows of course." Diamond went on, "Sometimes, there are certain dominants you just fall right into place with, or in this case, feel safe and secure in their care. Master Loki, for me, is one of them."
"I had no reservations or regrets with him and if I'm asked what I think about him being a Master here," Diamond paused for effect before concluding, "I say yes, please. We need more dominants like him in VDO."
"Congratulations, Master Loki! A new friend I call you and hope the friendship grows," Diamond gave him a wide smile before kneeling on the pillow once more.
Master Loki reached for Diamonds hand and squeezed it as he stood once again. "Thank you for your kind words, Diamond. I get the first dance with you in just a bit, but first, I need to make a few words of my own."
M A S T E R S P E E C H
Master Loki turned to face the gathered group. "As many of you know, I am much happier in conversations than ceremonies and have (honestly) joked that I would do any number of finals in order to skip writing a speech for this graduation. Standing here in front of you though, I find that I wouldn't miss this for the world."
"There are many of you here who I view as both friends and part of a team. Roissy, with it's requirements and challenges, forces people to work together, support each other, to learn and grow together, and I have grown with many of you," said Master Loki.
"Almost exactly a year ago I interviewed with Dom and became an intern here. From even before I came here until today, submissives from this sim have been the bedrock of why I am here. They are an amazing group of women, and I know I would have left any number of times if it wasn't for their support and care," Master Loki explained, "No dominant can be what we are, can find the happiness that we have without them and I especially want to thank each of you who have been part of my life and my growth here in the past year."
"I would also like to thank Rene' for his vision and for his support of this sim which provides us with a center in which to grow and learn: it is a remarkable place. Building a sim and a group like this is a daunting task and he is to be congratulated," Master Loki's voice carried over the crowd. "I would also thank you, Thomas, for your support and calm suggestions, and bits of advice. And I need to also thank Xanadu, who goes long distances out of her way to make sure things happen when they need to happen and that all of us get the classes we need. The admin staff here is dedicated and helpful and I thank them for all they do."
"Thank you all for coming today. You have helped make this day special for me. This is a community that supports each other, and I look forward to helping maintain it. I am proud to be part of this group of people working to support each other and grow together. When I can help any of you, please ask," Master Loki ended his speech to wild applause and cheering, yet he could be heard saying, "Thomas, if you promise me some of the champagne I'm quite sure is to come, I will return the floor to you."
"I think that I can do," said Maitre Thomas as the congratulatory cheers kept ringing out.
"Thank you for all your work here," Master Loki said as the two Dominants shook hands. He turned to the crowd with a warm, "Thank you all!"
S U M M A R Y A N D T O A S T
The cheers were still sounding as Maitre Thomas walked to the bucket and opened the Dom Perignon, 1955 Vintage Champagne. He smiled, "Rene spares no expense, you know." He took two flutes, keeping one for himself and handing the other to Loki.
Raising his flute, Maitre Thomas toasted, "Thank you! We are truly grateful for all each of you have done as a family to support everyone here. Now, please, everyone grab a glass of champagne to toast the new Master. To Master Loki!"
Cheers of, "To Master Loki!" rang out this time as the man of the hour lifted his glass and replied with his own toast, "To all the help we give each other here!" He took a little sip and smiled, "Not bad, Thomas."
Manging to avoid spilling the champagne as he clapped, Maitre Thomas said, "I also wish to take the opportunity to thank Rene', for providing all of this for us, and for having the vision to bring us all together. We are a large, diverse group, with many things to share, and it warms my heart to have all of this to share with each and everyone. Thank you all for joining us here, to celebrate with Loki."
"with all of you standing, the submissives here perhaps should take cover," Master Loki teased the group.
"We have a performer in the ballroom for Loki's ceremony, immediately following. Everyone is dismissed." said Maitre Thomas.
* CONSIDERATION COLLAR - Master Loki & Norma
During the celebratory dance, Master Loki took the center of the floor and addressed the crowd. "Consideration collars are not a common thing in Roissy. They signify commitment between a dominant and submissive, a serious step forward together. A few of you may have noticed that I have spent a great deal of time dancing with a certain Sister over the last few months. Although we became friends early in my time in Roissy, it was some time before we started to spend more and more time together, growing closer through scenes and evenings talking and dances spent together.
The gathered group stopped dancing and turned their attention to the couple standing in the middle of the dance floor.
Master Loki took a step toward Norma, lifting up a collar, "Norma, in front of our friends here, I ask you to accept this collar of consideration from me as a symbol of our commitment together, for a period of up to 2 months, as we plan our future together and with the knowledge that I wish and intend to have you wear my formal collar."
Norma looked up at Master Loki, tearing up so she couldn't speak for a moment. She took a breath and answered, "Yes, Master, I do accept your collar of consideration."
Applause and cheers of congratulations thundered through the ballroom as Master Loki took Norma's hand, pulling her into a slow kiss. He attempted to roar but his voice cracked a little, "Back to the party, everyone!"
