Thomas smiles and stands straight and tall surveying all of our wonderful Roissy Val D'Oise Family that has gathered at the Chateau patio, this pleasant evening. "Our Propietaire Rene expresses his regrets for not being able to make the ceremony, due to RL.
"Welcome all my friends and a hearty thank you for joining us this evening as we celebrate the work that Damian Grayman has completed on his journey to achieving his full Master tag, and as he joins the ranks of the many fine Masters of Roissy Val D'Oise."
Thomas shifts my weight from my left leg to my right...eyes full of pride for all of the family and the Dominants of the Chateau.
"At Roissy Val d'Oise, we believe that being a Master of the Chateau is an achievement to be earned. We ask our Dominants to demonstrate their diligence in learning about our culture here at VdO and BDSM in general, to express their knowledge and understanding of critical components in this lifestyle, and to exhibit skill in building creative, enjoyable and erotic scenes with the submissive women in our community.
"Tonight we're here to celebrate one of our own who has done the work, fulfilled his requirements and given of his time and energy to reach this achievement.
"Damian , has turned in his log, and successfully completed his final task, so tonight we are here to celebrate what he has accomplished in his time here and his commitment to roleplay, and to welcome him to the ranks of the Masters of the Chateau."
Thomas smiles... "Next, I would like to ask Joy to speak, as she was the sister assigned for Damian's final task. Sister Joy, your recommendation please?"
Joy smiles a very warm welcome to everyone coming in. "Thank you Maitre Thomas" .. smiles warmly as she gracefully rises, shouts: "Greetings Sir Damian. Congratulations on your great achievements in your Dominate Training. To be a Master of Val d’Oise is a great honor and one I know you will excel at.
"Thank you for allowing me to be a small part of your journey by being the Sister for your final task Sir Damian and for the privilege of speaking for you today. Greetings Maitre Thomas, Masters, Maitres, Sirs, Mistresses, and Sisters. Maitre Rene you are very missed ... we all wish you well.
"I had of course seen Sir Damian around the sim but our path had not crossed for any scenes so really our first meeting was in preparation for his final task. Maitre Thomas asked me to be his Sister for this task and I happily agreed. I believe Sir Damian was as surprised as I was that the fit was so perfect for both of us. Smiles to Sir Damian warmly. Thank you Maitre Thomas you are amazing.
"Sir Damian had a series of tasks to be completed and His thoughtfulness to my safety was paramount in His extensive planning, creative execution and with the equipment He acquired for the tasks…. Sisters, ask our new Master to show you his feather, paddling machine…. Giggles. It is very fascinating and most fun. Winks to Sir.
"One of his tasks was to push one of my limits… that is always stressful for the Dominate as well as the submissive. Even in the short time we had talked I trusted Him completely. His caring and concern were always apparent and much appreciated, the experience was as rewarding as was his creativity, exciting and challenging scene.
"Sir Damian’s aftercare is most impressive. He should give lessons. Smiles warmly to Sir. Sir Damian is very organized has all the detail items needed for his scenes and aftercare. He even had all of his healing things ready.
"Sir Damon proved himself to be the creator of very interesting, intriguing, challenging and compelling scenes. I must confess… leaving me wanting to have more scenes to explore his many talents.
"I can see, He is well respected among the submissives of VDO as an excellent role player and caring Dominate. He listens intently to the Debs, Dems, and Sisters in his capable care during each scene. He makes sure we are enjoying the experience, connected to it, not stressed out by it…. and He does that so well. He works tirelessly to help the Val d’Oise Debs, and Dems, and other Dominants along on their path.
"Maitre Thomas, I whole heartedly recommend Sir Damian as a Master of Val d’Oise, and Maitre if He chooses that extended path, with great respect. Thank You so much Maitre Thomas for allowing me to be a part of this process. It was an honor and a privilege that I treasure."
Thomas walks to Damian, "stand my friend". Thomas hands him the ornate Roissy Val D'Oise Masters ring.
"Damian, you have achieved the honored and exclusive rank of Master, by working hard, and while allowing us to get to know you. Let me be the first to shake your hand and congratulate you on this achievement and joining your Brother Masters at Roissy Val D'Oise. I am proud of you and I am certain that all here is proud as well to have you. as a Master."
Damian Grayman holds out his hand as Thomas, places the heavy ornate ring in the palm of his right hand...Lifting up his head he looks at Thomas and then NH and says in a quiet voice "Thank you, I am honoured to be wearing this ring and Tag that has so much significance attached to it"... and slips the ring onto his finger.
"I would like to introduce my Mentor, NH Allen. Please NH, will you take the floor. Thank you."
NH Allen stands and clear his throat "thank you Damian" Turning towards the new master, "Damian!"..... then turning towards those gathered around .... "and honored family!"
"We are gathered here today to celebrate our newest member of the master brotherhood here at Roissy.... Damian is his name. I was assigned as Damian's mentor back in january and first time we met was 21th of january....a meeting we used to know each other better.
"When we started Damian was pretty new to our lifestyle and some of the tasks on his path were pretty overwhelming to him.
"I recall a meeting where he said to me "I cant do it NH!, i have never done something like that before.... i just cant do it! I answered him "do it!.... and discover a new amazing world opening in front of you.
"Standing here today, i know that he did follow my advice.... what it was he couldn't do will stay between Damian and myself." ... winks at Damian. "It has been amazing to be his mentor, to see him grow and expand his horizon....also how he has integrated with the rest of the community.
"As a dominant he has evolved his skills, so i don't hesitate to call him a true dominant of the kind we always are looking for here at Roissy.....A dominant that takes care of the subs he is playing with.... always willing to help those who ask him..... newcomers as well as his brothers.
"Also his workshop ... WHAT DOES BEING A GOOD DOMINANT ENTAIL? .... showed clearly where his focus is..... or maybe better to say what he is not...... he is not into crap and gameplay.... he is real! At our first meeting i also told him that mentoring for me was a personal investment and i would like to see some outcome of my investment.....i said "i want to see a master tag above your head."
NH Allen turns towards damian and looks above his head "thank you damian, my investment did pay itself back with an excellent outcome. The last few friday nights at DJ Rina's event, a guy we called gollum has shown up and entertained us and made us really laugh .... a funny guy, who showed up to be Damian's grandpa."
NH Allen turns towards the gathered family and looks around "i can see that your grandpa didnt make it.... or maybe he is using an alt, which is rather common these days. Damian it has been a pleasure to be your mentor for many reasons. We have had many great and confidential talks, it has evolved my skills as mentor also, it has been entertaining and we have evolved a true friendship which i appreciate very much.
"Let me in closing say, that i support Damian wearing a master tag, he really deserves that and im sure he will continue to add value to our family as he already is doing."
NH Allen takes a few steps...... approaches Damian and place a hand on his shoulder "well done, brother!"
Thomas "Tristan will now speak his thoughts."
Tristan smiles as he rises from his chair and walks over toward the new VDO Master. "Thank you Thomas. My friends, It is with great pleasure to I have this moment to say a few words about my friend and Brother, Damian. Damian and I first met at VDO on New Year’s Eve.
"We in the VDO movie house struggling to watch “The Story of O” and just could not figure out how to make the projector work for us. Then in my chat window were instructions from May who was standing outside listening to us. Once she explained that we needed the Apple player plug-in it all worked just fine for us. That was the beginning of our friendship.
"Damian has been an inspiration for me in his dedication and work ethic in completing his Master’s path. I know of no one who has worked harder for this grand achievement. What has amazed me about Damian is the amount of time he spends with us at VDO. I told him some time ago that he basically lives at VDO. Anytime I come to SL and see that he is online, I know where I will find him.

Thomas "Damian has been around VDO for some time. Damian started his path Officially, on January 2, 2015. I guess that New years eve..was important, eh Tristan. Damian is a very precise man, well known for studying his note cards in the teahouse for hours on end. At least that is what he says. " *Chuckles*..."Who knows right Damian ?"
Damian Grayman laughs - "you didn't believe me?"
Thomas " In his Dom App phase... Wow two trial runs of a tour!, that’s being thorough. He had two trial runs of his Tour during his Dom App period, before his successful tour with Ð???α ??σ?ηi?. Many times, I said to Damian..”relax and ad lib your emotes, have some with it”, Laughs…despite his love of note cards he has done that."
Thomas looks for Kaly.."I know Kaly would agree.
"Damian’s workshop entitled "What Does Being a Good Dominant Entail" on March 3rd, 2015 was every well thought out and very informative for everyone."
Damian Grayman "you have ruined my reputation here, Thomas."
Thomas "Yeah.....yeah..I am so terrible on you."
Damian Grayman thinks "My turn is coming... soon".
Thomas "speaking of me being to terrible....to Damain.. .In his final task, Damian was a bit apprehensive. But seriously folks, Throughout Damian’s path, I have had the pleasure of helping him along the way. Damian, is an intelligent, intense and truly genuine and good human being. When I say genuine, I mean that you are a real person, honest, and process a high measure of integrity.
"In my humble opinion, I could not speak any better of a man to say, “He is a genuine friend, who I value for his integrity”. So Now, Damian, has a few words for us...the man we have been talking about, Damian..new Master of Roissy VDO."
Damian Grayman smiles and says "Thank you Thomas". Looks at Rene's empty seat - "I know he wanted to be here, Thomas, NH, Joy, Vette, Nara and Rina, in turn... "Thank you all for your kind words - it is heartfelt and warming that you would think of me in such a manner.
Damian Grayman: Turning his focus to those gathered around he says... "Greetings everyone... I am honoured to have all of you walking alongside me today, on this last stage, of this part of my journey. I have a lot of people to thank so I ask you please to bear with me.
"Most of you have been instrumental on this journey, in one way or another. I am humbled at receiving this Tag and Ring today and I thank you all for this great honour of adding me to the ranks of Master.
"I am grateful to Rene, firstly for this wonderful Roissy Val DuOise Sim, which has been my home for the past few months. I feel like a stranger going back to my own home, if and when I do go there. I was over the moon when Rene, first spoke with and befriended me. I couldn't believe that a man of his stature in this community had taken the time out to speak with me, a mere Avatar amongst hundreds of Avatars on his Sim - but he took the time to welcome me and make me feel at home. I was not just a number to him.
"For me, the road has not been an easy one. It has been challenging and sometimes daunting as I climbed a hill which was very steep. Coming from the outside with no experience in either Role Playing and very little in the BDSM Lifestyle. I was faced with so many challenges but knew that if I persevered and put my mind to it, I too, would succeed.
"I am living proof that it can be done, thanks to all of you who guided, Supervised, Mentored and Role Played with me in order for me to complete my logs - I could not have done it without you.
Damian Grayman turns to look at my Supervisor, ThomasX Xue and chuckles... "When I met Thomas for my first interview - everything went wrong... I was very disheartened...First off, I couldn't find his Office. He had to meet me on the doorsteps of the Chateau. Didn't understand half of what he was talking to me about... When we were done, I couldn't find my way out of his office - was bumping into walls that weren't supposed to be there according to my viewer settings.
"I tried to exit out of the walls next to the door. Thomas, you must have shaken your head and thought "What the hell did the Cat drag in this time? You have become an integral part of my life here at Roissy, Thomas... It is because of you that I am not anxious to do many things. You have moulded and guided me. You have also turned a "Good Catholic Boy", into someone who is no longer anxious to face doing many things in public. ie (in the Library with Witnesses). I thank you and my Mother thanks you too - My Confessor however, will be a whole different story!
"If I could be half the Man / Dom you are Thomas... I would be happy. I have never come across anyone with the patience and tenacity you have. Your best attribute is not getting annoyed or anxious about anything. Even in the eyes of adversity you have kept your wits about you and just plodded on as though nothing had happened. Nothing seems to rattle you. You do not fear the winds of adversity because you know that a kite rises against the wind rather than with it.
"Thank you for your patience, guidance and the time you've spent in teaching me - I know it must have been trying at times... but you continued to guide me and pushed me in the right direction. I am forever indebted to you. My trust and loyalties are firmly placed at your doorstep.
"NH Allen, My Mentor... I admire your quiet strength and sense of humour... When I heard you were my Mentor, I was over the moon. If I was feeling confused or just needed someone to talk with or asked for guidance on a task or just advice in general, you were there. Always encouraging me, always giving me good advice. I noticed you long before you did me. You were the person, whom without fail, greeted me every single time you saw me when I just arrived here - not knowing anyone - you were the first person to really make me feel welcomed and at home. Both you and Rina.
"Rina, who stayed awake in order to support me when I did the Workshop and stayed awake today, to see me through on this part of my Journey. Thank you Rina.
"NH, you spent so many tireless hours coaching me, speaking with me, guiding me, giving me the confidence I needed to go out there and do as you instructed me. "Get that Master's Tag and do not give up". I did it NH - I listened to you - points upwards to his Tag. I also have you too to thank for everything I am today... and then some. The words "Thank you" are meaningless on its own and such
"I couldn't have chosen a better Mentor, even if I tried. I thank you both sincerely NH and Rina - I feel very secure having you as my Mentor as I travel on the next journey, knowing you will be there to guide and nurture me. I am honoured to have you in my Corner.
"Tristan my BroMeister, Justyn and Marcus - Thank you for all your help... Justyn, you were the "Go To" person that Vette suggested I go to when I was fairly new here and didn't know anything about RP nor bindings / floggings. Thank you too for the props, Note Cards and friendship.
"Tristan, there is so much I'd like to say about you but due to time constraints I will just say a few words... you and I are travelling this road together - we're either one step behind or ahead of each other. It is nice having someone to bounce ideas off, someone to encourage me and help me along the way and visa versa. But most of all, to know I have someone here that I can call a true "Brother."
"Marcus... You are one of the best role models I have come across - I aspire to be like you one day, like Thomas and NH. Each of you exude that quiet. powerful strength. You let nothing throw you off balance. Thank you for including me in Bab's, Final... which I enjoyed being part of. It was a pleasure for me and I got more experience. Thank you too for always keeping in contact with me, encouraging me and always having nice, positive things to say to me which boost my morale and make me want to be the person you see in me.
"Now for our Beautiful submissives... Joy - Once again Thomas, came through for me. Picking one of the loveliest Sisters, whom I hadn't met as yet... to be my Sister on my Final Tasks - it was a perfect match. Joy, you are an asset to Roissy Val DuOise - You are sincere, friendly, helpful but most of all respectful and behave like a true submissive and Sister behaves. Thank you Joy. You made difficult tasks so much easier for me to handle. It was a pleasure doing my Finals with you and I hope we always remain close friends
"Nara and Vette, if I needed any Work Shops for my Logs, you were the "Go To" people that organised it and saw that I got it for my Logs. For that, I thank you. Nara... so many times when I reached rock bottom and felt like just giving up, you were there to help me out and encourage me. For that, I shall always be indebted to you. Besides which, you have a lovely, kind and caring nature, which you impart to all of us who know you, seek it or are close to you... you also know how to hold confidences.
"I am honoured to call you "friend". Thank you too, for introducing me to our lovely Sister Kaly, whom I absolutely adore. You follow in Thomas's footsteps when it comes to diplomacy - perhaps one day too, I shall join your ranks.
"Vette... I don't know how you do it. Running Roissy, Supervising, doing stint after stint at the Landing greeting our visitors - the majority of the time, just on your own. Helping Doms like me when they are fairly new with Workshops, advice and so on and on top of that, carrying a load on your shoulders - some of them unpleasant - then coming back and doing it all over again. I take my hat off to you. Thank you.
"Gillian and Foxy Lady... Thank you for staying away to be here today. Some of my most memorable Tasks were with Gillian - especially when she ended up walking like a Penquin. Don't even ask *chuckles*. We both laughed so much that day and it was one of my best Tasks ever. I love these two Ladies - Foxy Lady, you are very special to me. Gillian and Foxy Lady give me back a piece of my Birth Country - being with you two, is like being home again. You quieten the ache in my heart to be back home. We have felt her Sun on our backs and her Sands between our toes... we will always remain "Children of Africa" - no matter where we are". Thank you.
"Xanadu, always so helpful, kind and caring with everyone. Doing Notecards and Pics of every single Graduation, Initiation, or Workshop she attends for those taking part in it. Thank you Xanadu. She's a nag as well... Always on my case for not taking my Asthma Pumps. If you don't remind me Xanadu, I do forget to take it until I am forced to.
"Rellenita, I love your sense of humour... Especially after I told you there is no way I would ever let you collar me or kneel before you... Your reply to me was that you would sneak up from behind, collar me, tie me up, take me to the kitchen, sit on me and spank my ass with a frying pan. So please, if any of you see Rellenita behind me, she is up to no good. Tell me!
"Runa, thank you for being here, I am honoured to here you here with us today.
"In closing, I would like to say to our New Applicants... We are all here to help each other - don't ever be afraid to ask for help from anyone. None of us are better than the next person. We have all walked the paths you are on and we are all still travelling.
"Always try to look for the good in others. If we set out to find fault, we will find untold amounts of it in every single person here - without exception.
"I am not trying to be condescending to anyone, nor to put anyone down. This is not meant to be negative in any way.
"Role Playing is about realism... knowing what is real and possible, which to my mind of thinking is doing things exactly or similar to what some of us do in real life. Don't allow anyone to intimidate you with regards to your Role Playing - it is all about you and how you wish to do it - as long as you adhere to the guidelines.
"Rene, our Supervisors and Mentors, have all set very high standards for us to follow. Don't let them down. If we as Dominants / Masters / Maitres / Debutantes / Demoiselles / Sisters, are not setting a good example for the up and coming to follow, how can we fault them? How can we expect them to be the best at what they are if we aren't?
"We are supposed to be good Role Models - let's be a good example of that and not humiliate or denigrate anyone for the "fun of it." Nor to boost our own egos at someone else's expense, nor to be vindictive and aggressive with others in public or to throw our weight around. We should be tempering our anger and frustrations with patience and humility. We should all wear our hard-earned Tags with pride and be a symbol of what that Tag represents, instead of using it to inflate our own egos at the detriment of others.
"In one of his speeches, one of Thomas's posts reads as follows... "We demand perfection here at Roissy VDO. If we cannot project that "perfection" and be good Representatives of Roissy Val duOise, then why are we here?
"Thank you everyone who took the time out to be here today - it is much appreciated. You have all played a part in helping to mould me into the Dominant I am today and with your help, I can only go from strength to strength. I shall continue to strive to improve those things in which I am lacking and weakest in, through hard work and determination. I may stumble and fall a few times but I know you will all be there to help me up again. Without Roissy Val DuOise, the Workshops, the Guidance from my Supervisor, Mentor and all of you, I would be nothing and no one.

AFTERWORD:
It always brings a smile to my face to see the many famille and friends that gather for such joyous occasions and support the sim through role play and devotion.
Today we are here to celebrate with Damian as he becomes a Master of Roissy Val d' Oise. Damian has shown dedication and devotion being here many hours each day. Thank you Damian for your support.
Our journeys are never completely over as we strive to learn and gain knowledge as we grow and seek more answers. In order to do these things it requires dedication and concentration, allowing yourself to be involved and keeping the mind clean and clear of clutter, so it may absorb the knowledge we seek.
Completing a path is like completing anything else we strive for in life. It gives one a great feeling of accomplishment.
To receive a title with nothing involved and nothing to pursue has no honor.
Damian, today I congratulate you with honor and hope you continue on your journey.
I would also like to wish each of you a Happy Easter and hope everyone enjoys the hunt.
