Master Ceremony Mykal

As the Maitres, Masters, Sirs, Sisters, Courtisans, Dems, Debs, and Familie gathered behind the Chateau, picking out seats and cushions, Roissy's spirit of fun bubbled up, leading Maitre JC to join other Doms in a quest for some afternoon coffee, "Oh dear, got so excited about a coffee, I forgot the time -- First, Rene is trying to get here, but is having internet issues."
He stands and glances around to the Roissy VDO Community as all had gathered for a celebratory and well deserved time for one of our own Dominants, "Thank you all for joining us today as we celebrate the work that Mykal has completed on his journey to achieving his Master tag, and as he joins the ranks of the many fine Masters of Roissy Val d'Oise.
"It is true that we have a wonderful family here ar Roissy Val d'Oise and to thank you all for your excellent work and roleplay. You are what makes this sim what it is today. And, we certainly thank Rene for his continued gift of the sim to us as it truly is our home. I cannot emhhasize enough, that VdO could not be a home if it were not for all of you All of you are the life blood of this community, and without you, Vdo could not exist as it does.
"I offer you all a bow, as a show of respect for all you do for Rene, and the admins, to keep us a fun, smooth place to be in . As many of you know, or might not know, after applicants receive their Dominant tag and begin work on their task logs, it is much like any other journey where one seeks to learn and complete work and yet learn a great deal about themselves and the others around them. They find the others around them, both Dominants and submissives alike teaching one another from their store of wisdom.
"Mykal, has turned in his log and successfully completed his final task, and taught a workshop alongside all of that. So this evening we are here to celebrate what he has accomplished in his time here and his commitment to roleplay, and to welcome him to the ranks of the Masters of the Chateau. Damn," he mutters aside, looking at all of you lovely submissives, "I wonder what i did right in life to have you all here, with me," and then, back to his officiating, points to the new tag above Mykal's head, "take a moment to congratulate him before I continue on."
Mykal bows his head as everyone cheers, "Thank you so very much, I am truely humbled."
"Before I turn the floor over to Mykal and his guest speakers, I wish to present his Master ring that has been made for the Masters of Roissy Val d'Oise. Mykal, on behalf of Rene, who is the owner of the sim, I give this to you as one who joins the ranks of the Masters of the Chateau. We are honored to have you in our community, as we are with the rest of our family here and I have no doubt that you will continue the hard work you have so far as you continue this next part of your journey in our community."
Mykal smiles, taking the ring and placing it on his finger. "WOOOOT! Thank you so very much JC, I am very honored to accept this."
More people congratulate the new Master, as JC answers, "Good job," and steps back and looks out upon the crowd, a warm smile appearing on his face. "Mykal, first joined us as an Intern, somewhat subdued until he found his footing and grew roots that would hold him proud and ready. Hmm, in retrospect, this should have been a roast. Oh well, we will continue (laughs). His thirst for knowledge is unquenchable, and many have found him very demanding. Though quick to anger at times, he is even quicker to step back and review himself , and his actions, and make the necessary adjustments that continue to make him a good Master.
"Mykal is a rock here in VdO, always ready to help any submisive that he can; his hold is tight, once he has her in the palms of his hands, and can handle the girl as delicately as a flower, or as tightly as starving man would a slice of bread. He and I have shared a few heated debates, and we have shared many lucrative ones as well. We always end up agreeing no matter what the reason, and I emphatically respect this man, and will do anything I am able to in order for him to grow.
"It is with the greatest of respect that I recommend him to the elite Masterhood of Roissy Val d'Oise. Thank you Mykal, for all that you do," he then bows his head in respect to him.
Mykal responds quickly, "Thank you for everything JC, my Brother."
"Mykal, I now turn the floor to you, to present your honored guests to speak on your behalf."
Mykal looks around the room, taking a deep breath, "Thank you all for coming, seeing so many here humbles me. I have made many friends since arriving, two I like to introduce. First, a good friend, who has been there since day one in advising, encouraging and helping. He is a true rock of this home. Dusty."
Dusty slowly rises from his chair and turns to his brother Mykal, "Thank you, Mykal," then turns to the crowd gathered together on the château patio to honor a hard-working, fine upstanding dominant. He pauses for a moment. "This is a bit like déjà vu. I could swear I was just here." He grins at Master Rain, who smiles back.
"I do consider myself doubly blessed and proud tonight to help recognize a new Master to our family, Master Mykal McMahon! I was very pleased when Mykal asked if I would speak on his behalf as he is honored for his path accomplishments on his way to become a Roissy Master. I do so look forward to those times when I can extol the virtues and accomplishments of our wonderful members.
"When I first met Mykal some months ago, he was very eager to join our wonderful family but also a little cautious. Full of questions, he absorbed as much information as he could the first few weeks while attending workshops, getting to know many of our wonderful members, learning quickly how our particular community works. must say that Mykal's focus is clear and sharp. When he settles on a goal, he pursues it with a passion and intensity rarely seen, letting little deter him from accomplishing that goal.
"During the many talks that we've had, I felt I was holding the bridle of a wild stallion." He grins at Mykal, and continues, "eager to romp and play with the best of us." He scans the crowd of fine dominants. "I'm certain we've all been there at one point or another in our progress. Who among us can resist with such beautiful and accommodating submissives eager to please us all.
"Mykal cherishes each submissive he comes in contact with, knowing that the gift the submissive gives him is the greatest gift of all. He can sometimes be demanding and takes full advantage of the power given to him, but knows how to share the pleasure that comes from that precious gift. Mykal maintains control of himself first and foremost, so that he may control others as his dominant nature dictates.
"As a stern and demanding Dominant, Mykal can cause the submissive to cry real tears. As the consummate lover, he will then kiss the tears away, without stepping out of character. Mykal is quick to understand the differences between fantasy and reality, having extensive experience in both. He will never ask a submissive to put him before their own career, or family, just to satisfy his own pleasure. To win a submissive's mind, body, spirit, and soul, Mykal knows he must first win their trust. He often shows the submissive humor, kindness, and warmth as he gets to know each of them. [I] have personally observed Mykal many times working with submissives, assisting them to improve their roleplay, and training each one the proper way to respond according to their particular role." He smiles remembering such a training session just this morning. Mykal chuckles.
"One of our lovely sisters confided in me recently, and I quote, "Mykal is a true and sincere man. He knows inwardly about domination, and he IS a dominant man."
Mykal wonders who he needs to pay for that one.
"Mykal feels he must always show that His guidance and tutoring is knowledgeable and deserving of the submissive's attention. He strives to show that he is a person they can learn from and can trust to guide them in the right direction.
"Mykal can be romantic enough to be protective and chivalrous and, when called upon, he will fight for a submissive's honor. When it comes time to teach a submissive their lessons of obedience, he is a strong and unyielding professor. He will accept no flaw. Nothing less than perfection from his student. Truly. the mark of a good Master. Never does Mykal use discipline without a good reason. When he does punish a submissive, it is always with a knowledgeable and careful hand, wielding only as much power as necessary to get the message across.
"Mykal fully understands that compliance should come from the submissive's desire to please, not from the fear of punishment. Mykal also understands the fragile nature of mind and body and never violates the trust given to Him by the Submissive; although I'm sure a nice spanking now and then is just plain fun. Mykal remains open to communication and discussion; always ready to hear the submissive's wants and needs.
"He is patient; taking time to understand a submissive's limits, and knowing that as their trust of him grows, so will they. (m- a-men) He is secure enough to laugh at himself and the absurdities of life. Open-minded enough to learn new things; strong enough to grow.
"Finally, Mykal's tools are mind, body, spirit, and soul. He understands that each partner gains the most from pleasing one another. He gives much credibility to the role of the dominant and is well-deserving to be recognized as a "Master." I am thankful that we call each other, not only, friends but brothers.
"Maiter René, Maitre J.C., and feliow Dominants, Masters and Maitres, I heartily recommend him for advancement to the esteemed position of Roissy Val d'Oise Master. Congratulations again Master Mykal." He finds his seat and relaxes once more as he turns the floor back to Mykal.
"Thank you Dusty for those very very kind words and by the way," Mykal grins, " the check is in the mail."
Dusty responds dryly, "The truth and nothing but the truth."
"My next guest is someone I had known but not interacted with much until recently. She became my final sister and helped me through my final stages, which was not easy. She was very challanging and pushed me hard, which I am gratfull for. She has become a good friend who I can go to when in need. Annie, thank you."
Annie stands, looking about the crowd of family, then to Maitre Justyn with a smile and sparkling eyes. "Maitre Justyn, other Maitres, Masters, Doms, my beautiful sisters, and famille, it is with great honor that i stand before Y/you with high praise and speak for Master Mykal. i was very humbled by His request to help Him with His final, since i had never done one before. That was never a problem with the two of us."
She turns and smiles at Master Mykal, admiring His new tag. "Until recently, Master Mykal and i were unfamiliar with each other. We had talked a few times, but had never scened together or even had discussions. We took some time to get to know one another before the actual final, and i have discovered a very caring and warm friend... provided i can forgive Him for the gag." She laughs, gets a grin back from Mykal.
"I found Master Mykal to be a very prepared and detail oriented Dominant. He planned our scene for days and was continuously playing with my RLV. i am not sure if that was all related to the final." She snickers at Him.
JC, sneaks in a question, "Is it true doms with gags have more fun?"
To which, Dusty replies, "It's at least quieter."
Annie picks up on it too, " It has been my expereince, Maitre Justyn." She resumes talking to the audience, "Master Mykal is experienced in RL and brings that experience into His RP. His manner was firm and demanding, and never wavered despite a few equipment glitches and a very "sammy" sub." She grins mischievously as Maitre Taylor feigns a gasp and Frost asks, ""Sammy?"
"He was persistent and showed great stamina in our four hour scene. He pushed limits in us both, displaying confidence and caring concern for His submissive. i felt very safe and secure in His hands."
She becomes serious, looking around at her sisters, "We are fortunate, sisters. We have some of the best dedicated Doms in all of SL. Our men are caring and compassionate, and seek to create interactions that help us to grow and blossom as submissives. Other sims offer easy lifestyle sex, Roissy Val d'Oise Doms offer themselves and their expertise to guide and mold us.
"There is a reason i have stayed in this place so long, despite my trials and heartaches, because this is my home, and our Doms have always made me feel treasured and welcome. Master Mykal is one of those special Doms. He has humility and a wonderful sense of humor. He seeks to please His submissive as much as Himself, and he wants to help us grow with Him."
At this point, JC slips in another smiling aside, wondering how much she is worth as a treasure on the black market.
"It was a pure pleasure to grow with You in this task, Master Mykal. I know that You have taken Your paths seriously and Your dedication to our home is obvious. Our submissives are fortunate to have you to turn to in need, and i know that i will be one doing the same. Thank You for choosing me to help you finish this path and i wish you the very best on Your journey to Maitre. Congratulations on Your new title, may You wear it proudly. Maitre Rene and Maitre justyn, thank You for the creation and maintenance of our cherished home. The family here is strong and supportive of each other. i am grateful for the opportunity to serve it and You both. Thank you to my loving and supportive Samois Sisters who give hope and encouragement on a daily basis."
Blue Ronsein throws annie a few m&ms, and Mykal chuckles, "Where's mine?"
Annie looks to the crowd, "Thank Y/you , my family, for joining me on this journey. i am humbled to be one of Y/you," at which point she catches them in her mouth not missing a beat. She blows the new Master a kiss and slides some chocolate into His pocket before she returns to her cushion and kneels once again.
JC claps, wishing she woud have been naked, and several people giggle.
Mykal rises, pondering if he needs to mail another check "Oh, umm..." He grins, saying, "Thank you annie for those wonderful kind words. The pleasure was all mine doing my final with you. Thank you all for coming this evening and supporting me. I am quite nervous as this has been a long and tough journay in many ways.
"I came here via a sub I knew and had little idea what this community was going to be like. I was plesently surprised to find a community of like-minded people that viewed bdsm as I did, and that many had RL experiences as I came from. I have always felt that life is a learning journey that never ends. Being here has greatly proven that as I have even after so many years, have learned much in my time here and within myself as a Dom.
"I have many people to thank for my time here and for helping in my journey thus far.
First, to Rene, who has been a good friend and has encouraged me every step in my path. Thank you for creating this home where I and others can share and grow together. This home has taught me much and I know will teach me much more in the future.
"Next, to JC.. a friend and my mentor. From day one, you have been a good friend, even when we disagree, but has always been around to discuss things. I thank you for your mentoring and help.
"To other Doms: Dusty, Marcus, Taylor, Kurt, and others. Thanks for being here and sharing your knowledge."
Taylor nods, Marcus smiles.
"To several subs: sheri, sadie, priscilla, gillian, di, and many others, who have become good friends and assisted in scenes. You are the lifeblood of this place. Without you this is nothing more than a sim full of horny men.
"I left out one sub name from my thanks, and that is because I owe her much in my journey and sucsess. xana, helped and continuely encouraged me to strive forward. she helped arranging and suggesting subs that I scened with. She gave pushes when I sat back and needed to get working. You've been a good friend and I owe you much. I will never forget that."
Xanadue, hearing her name, lifted her eyes to Him and smiled, "My pleasure, Master."
"Finally, annie, these past weeks have been a rollercoaster in my life, and you have helped me through them. Thank you for entering my life."
Annie smiles, "Pleasure to be of help, Master Mykal."
"I have learned and grown much in my time here and look forward to more. I love this home and will strive to support it in all ways and help to teach and encourage others to grow. Thank you all again, and I hand it back to JC."
Placing one hand to his mouth, then the other to his ear, in low deep tones, they might hear him, he says, "Mi mi mi, ahhh, oohhh, a e i o u," prepping himsself to try and sound like Rene, as laughs bubble up from the crowd.
"Mykal, your accomplishments have been spoken of by your fellow Masters and Sisters. Thus, they have confirmed that you are worthy of the privilege of receiving the title: Roissy Val d'Oise Master. Clearly, you have proven that you are a dedicated Dominant, not only on your path, but also to our community."
Doron interrupts, "Whip. I was hopping someone will be at least spanked here."
JC laughs, but he continued, "It is, it is said, easy to sit up and take notice. What is difficult is standing up and taking action. Today, we are celebrating the fact that Mykal stood up and took that action. Today, we are celebrating enthusiasm, commitment and sheer hard work, but I also think it was a great deal of pleasure in it, and maybe with some enthusiasm? Enthusiasm is often neglected as a force.
"Yet without it there would be few achievements. Enthusiasm, you see, sets fire to the imagination. It asks "What if?" and "If I did?" and the results depend on the answer to those questions. Today then we are honoring someone who asked those questions and committed himself to finding the answers. We are honoring someone who worked late into the evening and early in the morning. It is with full conviction that I may say, Congratulations Mykal, well done!"
People raised champagne flutes and threw them crashing against the fireplace in a merriment of sayings, jokes, congratulations, even prayers.
Mykal raises his glass to JC, "Thank you my Brother," and drinks, while Lisbeth looks under the chairs for hidden rope, responding to JC comment that maybe someone should tie annie up.
Taylor, meanhwile, raises his glass and spills a few drops down the front of fae's dress, dribbling between her cleavage. as Fae looks up to see if its raining and the roof is leaking.
Xanadu calls out to remind the crowd, "Please join us as we honor Master Mykal, Vdo's newest Master in the Ballroom at 6 Pm. Somewhere is a powerful and romantic vocalist with a beautiful tone that will leave you breathless and wanting more. You will feel him forever in your heart and soul."
With that, Taylor and Dusty joke about the submissives cleaning up all the glass barefoot and the participants, including an intoxicated new Master Mykal, disperse for the dance.
