Master Ceremony Trav Elsker

On this first day of spring, family and friends were gathered at the Chateau Patio to celebrate Trav Elsker's completion of his Dominant path. He would now receive his Master ring and the title of Roissy Val d'Oise Master.
To make this day of celebration complete, the submissives Loki's Maya, Julie Tremont, Ophelie, Priscilla and Master Trav's personal submissive CC was dressed as French Maids, making sure the gathered crowd was well seen to.
"Thank you for joining us today as we celebrate the work that Trav has completed on his journey to achieving his full Master tag, and as he joins the ranks of the many fine Masters of Roissy Val D'Oise."
The words of the Dominant Supervisor Maitre Chronos silenced the crowd for a moment as they listened to him speak.
"I also want to mention what a wonderful family we have here ar Roissy Val D'Oise and to thank you all for your excellent work and role play. You are what make this sim what it is today. Thank you."
"As many of you know, or might not know, after applicants receive their Dominant tag and begin work on their log of task, it is much like any other journey where one seeks to learn and complete work and yet learn a great deal about themselves and the others around them. They find the others around them, both Dominants and submissives alike teaching one another from their store of wisdom."
"With anything in life, not everyone who begins this journey completes it. Those who do complete it do so because they don't give up, they keep moving forward. Many come here looking for a chance to have RP; most who make it through to earn their Master's tag discover much more than that."

"Trav, has turned in his log, and successfully completed his final task, so today we are here to celebrate what he has accomplished in his time here and his commitment to roleplay, and to welcome him to the ranks of the Masters of the Chateau."
Master Trav stood up to speak:
"Thank you so very much Chronos, this is indeed an honour and a milestone for me, it has been over 6 months since I have begun my path here at Roissy Val d'Oise and as in life it has been witness to many changes both within our community and within me."
"I am very pleased to count myself a member of this prestigious group of Val-d'Oise Masters and will wear the tag with pride and make a continual effort to bring respect to the position."
" I have asked some of our very special Debutantes that everyone be given a glass of Champagne for toasting and for the first Toast I would like you to toast Roissy Val d'Oise and Maitre Rene for making it exist and being so special for all of us. "
Master Trav raised his glass and took a sip of his champagne. The crowd responded with raising their own glasses to toast.
"I have been blessed with my Sub and partner CC for over 2 years now and would like to tip my glass in her honour as she works to completing her path here at Roissy, To you CC "
Again glasses were raised to honor his toast.
"Congratulations sir Trav." CC looked up, smiling, to the best man in her world "Im proud and happy to be this man's sub and partner all this time, and finally to say Master Trav to him here at Roissy is the best thing that could happen now. Älskar dig så mycket."
Maitre Chronos raised his glass to Trav "well done and well deserved" and congratulations and cheers erupted from the rest of the crowd and then Master Trav spoke again:
"I have had a lot of help to become a Master, as a representative of my family and Friends is Mace, From the very early days of my second life she has taught me some of the values of Master -Submissive."
"I would like now to toast to Friends and family with Mace responding to the toast"
Mace White smiled and looked around at all the smiling faces "Hello Everyone."
"Today is a very proud day for me , I feel as though I gave birth to this man and I really didn't have to do any pushing ;)"
"Sir Trav and I have taken many adventures and laughed our way around SL."
"There was ONE day that stands out and has affected him to the point of wanting to find out more about the BDSM life style , and that brought him here to Roissys after a long time of it lingering on his mind and many long conversations on the subject , he took the plunge and hasn't looked back ."

you've done your (SL ) birth mother proud" she said with and wink and then raised his hands to her lips kissing it softly and placed it back down on the arm of the chair gently.
The attending girls in particular smiled and applauded Mace on her lovely speech and Master Trav thanked her.
"Now a Master is as nothing without a Submissive!" Master Trav continued,
"It is with our submissives that we owe a debt of gratitude, for without their devotion and servitude a Master has nothing. This toast is for our Cherished Subs, be they Debutante, Demoiselle, Sister or Courtizan may they ever be content and fulfilled"
Masters and submissives alike sounded their approval of his words "hear hear!, I will second that, yes!"
"TO OUR SUBS" Master Trav raised his glass once more and took another sip of his champagne.
Glasses were raised and applause were offered as the people joined in the toast.
"to subs!, salute, cheers" Master Oz downed his whole glass in a toast to subs.
"Roissy is blessed with the best !! and to respond to the toast I would like to ask Priscilla to say a few words."
"Good day to you all. I have promised to be brief, and so I shall be."
"Master Trav and I both came to Roissy at about the same time, back in September. So much has happened to both of us since then, it seems so long ago ... and yet it also seems like just yesterday."
"I checked my computer memory, and it turns out the first time we IMed each other was when we watched a spanking together in the Chateau and neither of us could figure out why it was happening."
"And there you have it, the beginning of a beautiful friendship."
Julie Tremont offered Master OZ a new glass as she saw him downing the whole one.
"Eleanor Roosevelt said that small minds talk about people, average minds talk about things, and great minds talk about ideas. If you have an extended conversation with Master Trav, you must be prepared to watch his mind leap from people, to things, to ideas, and back again, always on the move. He is a lifelong seeker after truths, and not just the big, serious truths -- believe me, he likes the little, funny truths just as much. The whole world is in his purview, and he takes it all in."
"I love this place, and as most of you probably know, I spend much of my time here in Roissy. But Master Trav has always urged me to take the opportunity to explore the world of Second Life, find out what's out there, try new things, expand my horizons, put some landmarks in my inventory. And I do act on that advice whenever I'm not busy here or doing important things like, well, you know, shopping."
"Oh, and let's not forget Greedy. It was Maitre Rene who introduced me to the game, and I learned it because I saw it was something he enjoyed. But it was Master Trav who really got me hooked on Greedy. Sometimes he lets me win, bless his heart. But other times he aggravates me endlessly by gambling everything on that one last stinking die ... and it pays off! Don't you just hate that?"
"CC, my sister, you are such a lucky girl. I do so enjoy watching the great romance between you and Master Trav. Before I even got to know you very well, I knew you were a lovely person, because you are the one who inspires our Man of Honor. You have told me that Elsker is Swedish for someone in love, and the two of you have certainly chosen the most appropriate name for yourselves."
"Master Trav is always concerned about everybody around him. I've watched him mature in his role at Roissy, and I know it's taken him some time and contemplation to achieve his current position. More than once, he's considered quitting, and heading off to find something else where he thought he might fit in better. This is not because he actually doesn't fit in here, but simply because he's such a kind man -- it took him a while to figure out how to reconcile something like DS with his own very gentle and absolutely considerate world-view."
"In this quality, I believe he is perfect for Roissy, which is a place where our dominants know the value of courtesy and gentleness, the enormous strength that comes from taking others into consideration. Having resolved his former doubts, Master Trav will now do our community proud, because he is the very personification of our community. He is what we are all trying to be."
Priscilla gave Master Trav a hug and praises rained on her for her most amusing and inspired speech. It also left people wondering what Priscillas long speeches might be like...
"Merci Priscilla, I am humbled by your words"
"): I would like now to toast to all of the Mistresses and Masters of Roissy. It is through your guidance that everyone here benefits and grows. We all look up to your example and knowledge."
"Kurt to you I give the last words of this ceremony. Thank you everyone for the honour bestowed on me."
Kurt cleared his throat and looked to Trav smiling, looking around at those gathered and began to speak:
"Today we honor Trav who has earned the title Val-d'Oise Master and in a moment I will get to Trav. But a ceremony honoring Trav would be incomplete without saying a few words about those who have traveled the journey with him."
"All of you are here because in some way you have touched his life and he yours. Without the submissives, where would the dominants be? Looking at an empty bar. Wishing for a glass in our hands. The fireplace would long be burned out and cold. The floors dull and littered. And of course our other needs would be unfulfilled. To ask which is more important, the dominant or submissive is to ask which blade of a pair of scissors is most important. One without the other is incomplete and useless."
"): So this day is for all of you as well who worked with and grew with Trav. And especially for CC, for her patience, her understanding and her generosity in sharing Trav with us. And for her love and devotion to our good friend."

"When Trav first came to the community, I must admit, I was a bit leery of someone with blue hair, and I can’t even explain why."

Perhaps it is connected to the blue uniform with the red cape he wears in real life."
"His attention to detail, his care and concern for those around him and for the principles of our community; Have fun, Be respectful, Be tolerant, and Use common sense are exemplified in what he does."
"They are exemplified here in this ceremony where he has shown concern for us, and allowed many to serve even on his special day. He is within his rights to make this ceremony about him and yet he focused on others. And in doing so, he focused our attention on what makes him special and what defines him as a dominant."
Sir Kurt turned to Trav as he concluded his remark: “So to you Trav, I salute you, your accomplishments, your dedication, and the mark you have made in this community. Your title of Master is not only well earned but very well deserved. I know you will wear it well.”
"Congratulations"
"I would like to thank you Kurt and all of you respectfully" Master Trav responded.
"Thanks for making this day memorable, and to the debutantes today that dressed up for me and gave you your champagne"
Maitre Chronos rose to give a final toast ""Thank you Trav and thank you to all who have spoken and to everyone who has come at to celebrate with Trav. Again, we congratulate you Trav and welcome this milestone. As I toast you and CC and the rest of our community.....Cheers."
"Thank you all again, and feel free to hang around and talk more."
Master Oz downed yet another glass of champagne and quickly covered it with his hand before Julie got a chance to refill.
It was certainly a morning with displays of respect and adoration for this new Master and I am sure the submissives opened quite a few bottles of champagne to fill the glasses of the cheerful crowd.
We congratulate you again Master Trav on your completion of the path and thank you for your continous contribution to our growing sim.
