On January 17th 2021 the Roissy family gathered in the old dungeon to celebrate with Diamond as the highest honour, that of the Roissy O, is bestowed upon her. A truly rare and special achievement in our community. To quote Maitre Thomas “It is meant to be for a submissive that exemplifies what O is in the Story of O. The qualities of politeness to everyone Dominant and Submissive alike grace, beauty, and willing service to the Dominants were easy to see in Diamond."
Diamond, dressed exquisitely in her representation of O, wearing an elegant owl mask and simple matching cape, enters the gathering, and slides gracefully to her position on the stage.

Xanadu speaks of the challenges of the Roissy O path and the dedication to activity and service to our dominants and community. Diamond hosted several events such as her Kink/Fetish Play Party, Maids Day at the Chateau, Discussions, Sim Holiday Hunts and several other things for the community as well as offering service in the Chateau to our Dominants .. which is a big part of this path .. Community involvement. In addition Diamond created a workshop aimed to assist the debutantes in our community to be more at ease during their initiations .. " Initiation Ready ... as I'll Ever Be", as well as helping others with their paths logs, presenting our basic workshops and mentoring her fellow submissives. Becoming a Roissy O is a long termed goal she has continued to work diligently to reach.

Maitre René, in attendance at this important event, spoke to the group about his dream for our community, that it be “a place to provide Dominant and submissive training in SL that could,
if a person chose, take it into real life with great success and ease. The dream was to assist both factions of the D/s dynamic in exploring and achieving the fullest expression of those inner qualities in their life to whatever degree they could afford”.
Maitre René then turned his attention to Diamond, telling her that she is now “THE role model to all submissives. Here, at Roissy Val d'Oise O never tires of being available to serve when called upon, for the only service required of her is to our Dominants above all other duties O is an educated representative of our lovely home”. In closing Maitre Rene reminds us all the O “is” Roissy Val d’Oise and with that he takes her hand, and looks deep into her dark eyes and confers on her the title of O, sliding a ring onto her left ring finger.
D I A M O N D ' S S P E E C H
Diamond Gebhardt rises to address the audience and in her typical and frank way she begins “ I was told I had to speak and well if anyone knows me they know formal speeches isn't my thing. So I put it off until this morning.”
Diamond speaks to her reason for joining the O Aspirante program, stating that it was simple because “ from the first day my feet landed on Roissy cobble stones and read the information at the landing point I was sure I was where I needed to be in my search and it became home instantly. I even rented a cottage here that day.”
She speaks to the opportunities the O Aspirante created for her, the challenges presented, including “that good old place called RL), that she learned more about herself and that “it's not easy to completely open up and take a good look at 'you' and that's exactly what happened in this path.” Diamond also shares that she found strengths in herself that she didn't know existed and she found her voice which helped me get past some insecurities.
Diamond closes her remarks wth words of thanks to those “ Who encouraged, allowed me to borrow their shoulders to lean and cry on and thank you to those who were there for the workshops, events, discussions, tasks and participated in them. I couldn't have done any of it without all of you.” She offers a special thank you to Maitre Rene, Maitre Thomas, and Maitresse Runa. She also offers thank you’s to the many dominants in our community who were a part of her journey and experiences. Xanadu gets a special thank you for “being that little needle that poked her, and for supporting, encouraging and being that big sister alpha. Diamond then offers a “mushy” thank you to Sana for “everything you ever done and still do.”
In closing, Diamond offers some advice and wisdom “people arrive on the landing area of our community every day. We never know how much they can have significant impacts in our lives. I have learned to start embracing such and strive to become such to others if allowed.”
