Maitre René smiles and looks around the dungeon, turns to Dusty and says, "Let's begin, my friend."
Maitre Dusty nods and stands to welcome the group:
"Esteemed Roissy Family, your presence here supporting Xanadu as she moves into her new role means quite a lot to her and to all of us who watched her grow in her submission. Today is a very special day as she prepares for the highest honor we can bestow upon one of our submissives - that of the role of 'O.'
"The honor of attaining such a high and lofty goal can be immeasurable in the amount of pride she feels, the respect she has earned and the responsibility she takes on in her new role. A brief quote from the Story of O, if I may. She was no longer free? Yes! Thank God, she was no longer free. But she was light, a nymph on clouds, a fish in water, lost in happiness.
"I'm sure those sentiments are echoing in Xanadu's ears now." *smiles*
"Xanadu has come to realize that she can be a strong woman and still give herself freely and without reservation to the dominant that truly understands and respects her. for who she is (and you know who you are *smiles*). Her true strength lies in her willingness to give of herself, her talents, skills and abilities, which Xanadu has certainly shown us. With your continued support, her efforts to guide and strengthen those that follow, her sisters in arms, will not be easy but easier.
"Another wonderful quote from the novel that seems appropriate here “She was waiting for more than permission, since she already had permission. She was waiting for an order.” Such is the way that all of our submissives should yearn to be.

"Maitre Rene, honored guests its a huge pleasure to welcome to you all to Xanadu's O ceremony on behalf of the House of Samois. It's wonderful to see you all here in support of her today as she takes this next step on her path here, giving the rest of you inspiration to follow in her foot steps ..smiles.
"Where do i begin..smiles.. at the beginning. My very first memory of Xan is chatting to her outside of Samois and helping her to find a collar for her Dem initiation..smiles as i think back. When i think of Xanadu the word "y/all" comes to mind to those of you who know her well you will know she uses it often..smiles. I've watched her grow and blossom since then sometimes thrown in at the deep end...smiles ..but she always takes it in her stride.
Xanadu chuckles.
"From there we became friends and when i was appointed Adjointe de Samois and had to find an assistant i thought of her.. the rest is history," pauses.. "it seems the lady of the hour isn't here yet..smiles ...Xan would you please come up" ..smiles at her warmly, moves to one side

Gillian smiles..".thank you ladies" ...gives Xan a wink and a warm smile and shuffles my notes now where was i ...." She has become a cherished and valued friend to me someone i can rely upon to always be there when i need her, ready to help, to give advice, to listen to me moan and complain, i don't know what i would do without her ...smiles, blows a kiss to my dear friend. Xanadu has a heart of gold and an enormous amount of patience"..smiles

"She is indispensable to me and to Roissy , she gathers her mentees under her wings like a mother hen, has broad shoulders and a good ear. She is always ready to help , to serve and to fulfill her position of Sister and Samois Assistant. Maitre Rene ....I can think of no one who deserves the title of O more than Xanadu.".smiles. walks over to Xan leans down and kisses her cheek then returns to my cushion and kneels
Xanadu felt her eyes well up with tears as she smiled to Gi and smiles to Blue as she breathes slowly.
Gillian smiles..."Oh dear we've lost Maitre Dusty ....Mistress Ayita would you like to say a few words on behalf of Xanadu..smiles
Maitre Dusty Smooths out my jacket and straightens my tie after that heavy crash.
Mistress Ayita smiles toward him as the brunette rises gracefully. Shoots a small wink at Xana before she steps forward. "When Xana first asked me to speak today, I was at first surprised and then pleased to be a part of this moment. As we all know, there is no one more deserving of this honor than Xana."
Xanadu lifted her eyes to Mistress Ayita as she listened
Mistress Ayita grins as she starts to warm to her topic. "You know someone is truly dedicated to their submission, the desire to please and to serve ... when you can count the number of events they have missed over the years on one hand. I may not have been here long, but even I know she is a fixture many of us have come to rely upon here at Roissy."
"Her journey down this path has been long, and challenging. She has risen to each and every one along the way, the last of which was her Final. I won't go into too much detail about what occurred behind the closed doors of Samois. What I will say, is that she completed these trials with grace and dignity, once more showing the true depths of her submission." pauses for a moment, glancing back to the dark-haired girl. "She withstood the stinging lashes of my whips, the ceremonial piercing and perhaps the hardest of them all -- a branding." Sapphires flash at the mere memory, the Mistress turning back toward the audience once more.
Xanad shivered as she straightened her back
Mistress Ayita watches the girl shiver in memory. "I can confirm that Xanadu is pierced and branded as per our customs," she re-states for all to hear. "The submissive who kneels before you today is truly worthy of the title which will be bestowed upon her today. Xana is a shining example of a Roissy submissive in her loyalty and commitment." nods toward the Maitres and returns to her chair, pausing to stroke Xana's hair affectionately. "Congratulations," she whispers before settling into the cushions once again.
"thank you Mistress Ayita," says Xanadu
"Thank you GIllian and Ayita," says Maitre Dusty, "For those wonderful words of encouragement and a recommendation. We will now hear from our esteemed benefactor and proprietaire, Rene."
Maitre René stands, his eyes move from face to face, taking in the faces of the famille members in attendance. His thoughts are filled with many things he wants to say… where to begin… how to say it… after what seems a long pause, he runs his hand through his hair and speaks.
Xanadu lifted her eyes to Maitre Rene as she chewed her bottom lip and swallowed
"This dream began with the Historie d'O… a place to provide Dominant and submissive training in SL that could, if a person chose, take it into real life with great success and ease. The dream was to assist both factions of the D/s dynamic in exploring and achieving the fullest expression of those inner qualities in their life to whatever degree they could afford.
"Does my dream accomplish this? Only you the members can say.
" Though it has been thought that the end of the road for a Dominant at Roissy Val d’Oise is Maitre/Maitresse, and the end of the road for a submissive is the achievement of the O title, we must all realize there is no end of the road, for each of us is on an endless journey of self-discovery and continual growth. You never arrive because the moment you fool yourself into believing you have, life will throw you a curve ball and you will find you have so much more to explore and learn."

"Here sits one of our submissives who has come to the end of the Roissy Val d’Oise Submissive Training Path and is receiving the accolade of the O title, but what all this truly means is she is now THE role model to all submissives behind her of selfless service to the Dominants on our home (sim) and is not a submissive who picks and chooses those she serves."

Xanadu felt the tears slide down her cheeks under the mask

"O never says to another -- "that's not my department." -- For she knows, that as O amongst us, her role is to ensure that messages get delivered, concerns are reported and things that need to be fixed are fixed.
"This does not mean that O is a busybody involved in everyone's business, it means that when members of our community turn to her, she will do her best to ensure positive solutions are reached and that the proper authorities are made aware of things, situations, people, concerns beyond her scope of responsibility
"O knows how to organize events, coordinate and manage ceremonies, step-up to the plate and make sure things get done. She does not lay the burden on others, whether that be a small detail all the way to covering expenses on things she chooses to host for herself or our famille.
"However, beyond this and back to the bottom line, O serves our Dominants, role-modeling what it means to be a Roissy Val 'd Oise submissive no matter in which station a girl might currently reside
"In essence, O "is" Roissy Val d'Oise."
Maitre René smiles at Xanadu.
" Come to me Xanadu and remove your Owl Mask, step into the full personification of Roissy Val d'Oise."
Xanadu lifted her eyes again to Maitre and smiles as she removes the mask and is uncovered
Maitre René takes hold of her hand, cupping it with both of his and looks into her dark eyes.
"From this day forth you shall be O. Let your devotion and loyalty to our home and your community continue unflinchingly--"
"Yes, Maitre"
"Let your service to our Roissy Val d'Oise Dominants never waiver, for you are now O."
He gently caresses her cheek with the back of his hand. Xanadu, feeling his caress leaned into his touch. He smiles and looks at Xanadu
"Hold out your left hand."
Xanadu grins as she looked to Maitre the heart in her throat lifting her hand upward
Maitre René holds her hand, sliding the new ring onto her left ring finger.
" I give you this token ring, symbol of your new station here with us."
Xanadu watched in awe as He slipped the ring onto my index finger .. tears freely flowing on my cheeks. "Thank you Maitre" ..she whispered
Taking a champagne glass, Maitre René turns to the assembled. He looks above her head at everyone gathered. He raises the glass high…….
"My famille, please welcome O into your midst. Congratulations O Xanadu! Cheers!"
Maitre Kurt looks at Xanadu, then to Rene and then through the window to the chateau, thinking of the many scenes, the many friends, the wonderful community then looks back to Xanadu and says, very much in the present, "Congratulations Xanadu"

Xanadu composed herself as best she could .. she stood and slipped the cloak from her shoulders and turned to face the audience . " Maitre Rene .. Distinguished Members on the stage ... Maitres Maitresse Masters Mistress Misses Sirs and Ladies." smiles as she loked to Blue, "supposes the easiest way to begin is to say this path has been a true challenge to me .. and yes .. it is still being refined. It has tested my endurance as a Sister reaching the pinnacle .. to receive the honored position of Roissy "O" .
"truly thank each of you for the words you have spoken on my behalf. Many of us come into second life and places like VDO .. to explore a side of themselves they have kept hidden inside. They feel that deep inside there is a craving for something more.
"Is there is a submissiveness that needs to be searched or explored? or .. Do they crave taking control of someone visualizing hidden fantasies?"
"Here at VdO the different levels of my path presented an easy way for me to explore the depths of my own submissiveness and push limits .. that I would have otherwise not experienced."
"Being accepted as the first entrant to start a new path .. to become Roissy “O” .. I was humbled and felt I was not qualified. .. looks to Juliette and smiles .. you are my biggest champion and i thank you for your support ."

"The path was definitely a challenge to fit in with my other duties .. as a Samois Sister .. but something that I found very rewarding and highly recommend to others ."
"Upon joining here i had visited 3 or 4 other " O " related sims .. to * see * what they offered in education and self awareness . I then revisited VdO and knew quickly this was my choice and where i should be.
"Infact .. the new Debutantes and those submitting their applications clinched my decision to join .. part of the excitement was knowing i would not be doing this alone as i searched for my inner self ."
"This being my only *experience* and having the desire to know more .. i became enticed both by reading and the seeing movie .. The Story of O .. which made me wonder .. was this for me too or was it simply curiosity ?"
"There were many areas .. i could not understand like.. why anyone would allow them selves to be used in that fashion. ... Boy .. did i have a lot to learn.. i guess some times we neglect to be open enough to see the big picture ."
"In my own self discovery .. i went even to the point of slapping my own butt and pinching to experience the pain of the sting .. of what i could only imagine .. would be happing in the truest sense of the rp ... blushes softly "
"Upon submitting my application and waiting a week to be processed .. then finally the interview .. i had time to visit .. attend classes and get to know others in the community . "
"By the time i was called in to be interviewed .. i sat actually perspiring wondering if i would be accepted .. smiles looking forward .. yes and i know several of you have felt the same."
"When accepted i was so relieved i let out a loud breath of air then laughed .. realizing this was a bit more important to me then i thought . I was fortunate early on .. as i meet an other submissive who i spent a lot of time with and learned a great deal from ... she inspired me more then most would know .. and for that i will always be grateful .
"Soon i began meeting the most wonderful caring Sisters .. one quickly became my mentor .. from my earliest days to my initiation .. graduation and even still today she is here for me .. you are always in my heart my jazzy and i thank you for your guidance and continued support. "
"Moving forward .. i will say this in all sincerity .. Any person here who thinks they are here only for themselves are seriously mistaken .. each of us on a path interlinks with others in our community .. both those actively on a path or those having moved onward to Maitre, Maitresse, Sister, Aspirante or to Roissy "O" ."

"my time as a Debutante i cherished .. as i was given the freedom to learn .. relax .. participate and get to know those in our community .. as i said earlier .. Many of you have no idea the things .. you have taught me .. both directly and indirectly .. helping me grow and be the person .. i am today .. for this i can never thank you enough."
"To those who for one reason or another are no longer with us .. and may perhaps read this .. you too have also helped me as i traveled my path.. whether it was through advise, support or encouragement .. you will not be forgotten."
"Like many of you .. i was teased the Doms .. but there were those whom i felt i could always relax and talk openly too ,, and you know who you are... i thank each of you for your dedication and presence in this community .. and for your support and encouragement"
"As a Debutante ... i was extremely happy attending classes, events and ceremonies .. which provided a highlight and an opportunity to assist the community and our website by doing pictures and recording the events."
"Then came the time for my initiation .. smiles to the Debs present .. you will find it is both healthy .. to be nervous and excited .. only remember .. you will be placed consensually .. in the position to openly show the commitment of your submission to Roissy ValD'Oise. "
"Please recognize that i wasnt alone and neither will you be .. again i say .. this is why the debutante phase is so important .. To those who over saw my initiation .. thank you for your support .. aftercare and concern for me during this time both proceeding .. following .. and even to this day."
"My next goal was to serve our Dominates, our community the very best i could .. and to graduate as a Roissy Vdo Sister. At this point i must thank my Finals Maitre Johnathan .. You are truly awesome .. You .. just as jazzy have been with me through every step of my path and i am so grateful for our friendship."
"Once graduating , i was then permitted to Mentor others .. i soon found i loved mentoring and am proud to say i have mentored 3 from Debutante to graduation .. Sisters Di, Bri and Amaya..

"Di was my first Mentee .. she were my Jacqueline .. adding that this was probably the most challenging part of the "O" Aspirante path .. as we never know what circumstances may arise during this time to cause delays. I humbly thanks you Di for remaining uncollared .. having graduated .. for being a true Sister to me .. and for your continual commitment and loyalty as you to work for this community.
"In June 2015 .. i was humbled once again .. with the promotion to be the first Samois Sister to assist our newly appointed Adjointe de Samios Gi. It has been a pleasure to work with her and Sana in The House of Samois. I sincerely hopes that i have pleased this community with my service .. i have enjoyed working .. assisting and supporting others however i was permitted .. grins although i do some times make a mistake or two .. winks ..
"Soon following .. we heard that a formal path to become an "O" Aspirante was being developed and was announced. With encouragement from several .. i submitted my application .. smiles to Juliette .. i will remind you this part of the path is not quick .. as you must truly work to achieve this high honor."
"This part of the Submissives path as the others .. there is no time frame .. but in truthfulness .. plan for at least 9 months respectively remembering that you must be a graduated uncollared sister for a minimum of 3 months before submitting an application."
"Once interviewed and accepted you are placed on a 3 months probationary time .. everything you do for the sim both good and not so good are recorded for evaluation. "
"During this period the Sister must be very active and loyal to VdO and not active on any other "O" related sim. She must present workshops, mentor, assist in Dominate finals as well as log tasks, assist non Mentees with workshops and events for their Sister tag, hosting and general participation.
"When the three months are completed you again submit an application and with all of the preceding information to receive permission to begin the active path to becoming a "Roissy O".
"This again this continues to include all tasks, as before stated .. as well as a new work shop presentation and an event . My workshop was *Fantasy in Bdsm* (that i do still occasionally) and my * Celic O Event *"
"It cant be stressed enough that a huge part of this path is your dedication and support to our community in all ways."
