Early in the morning hours of Tuesday, April 4,  members of Roissy Val d’Oise were treated to the musical talents of Keira Rhapsody in a live-streamed flute recital featuring a variety of classical pieces written for flute, alto flute, and piccolo.

Accompanying Keira in her Sister  Event: "The Many Faces of Flute” was Sadie Xue, who is also her mentor.

Keira began playing the flute at age 10. After earning her bachelor of science degree in sociology, she pursued a music career and went on to earn a masters degrees in music performance.   She has played nationally in bands, orchestras, pit orchestras, small ensembles, and contemporary groups and   currently directs flute ensembles, performs with the Wind Symphony, and composes/arranges in the eastern part of the U.S., where she lives.

The attendees, estimated at 40-45 people, applauded with great excitement after each selection. Many were amazed at her creativity in bringing live classical music to the organization, and all were dazzled by her talent.  Refreshments were served.
