With tunes from the 50’s filling the air, and with the transformation of  the gardens into a fun and festive year end carnival on the field of Rydell High school, the space filled quickly with folks dressed in their 1950’s Rydell High Finest.  From letter jackets to leather and pink ladies to poodle skirts, the guests were in for two hours of nonstop fun.

Demoiselle Mia, dressed in a leather jacket, figure hugging black leggings and rockabilly stiletto’s,  hosted a fun filled event complete with an improv competition, a car race across the sim and a challenge on who could donate more the doms or the subs.

The festivities formally began with a warm welcome from our host Mia:

“Welcome to Roissy Rydell High School year end party! *Grease is the Word... Roissy Style* and I hope everyone enjoys the next couple of hours here in the Gardens! Thank you very, very much for coming, I am delighted and excited that you are here today!

I need to start by extending my heartfelt thanks to Maitre René, who shares his dream and provides this amazing Home to all of us!

Within minutes, we will start the competition between Dominants and submissive’s. The Dominants Team is composed by Maitre Dusty, Master Chicago, Master Sam, and Sir Hettange. The Submissive Team is composed by Sana, Tzeitel, Freyja and Kym.

My thanks to my Mentor, Xana, who always has my back and helps me be the best I can be, inspiring me to contribute to our Community, leading by example. Norma, none of this would have been possible if you hadn't helped me put all the puzzle pieces together in my head from the start, thank you so, so very much!  Sana, thank you for the brainstorming and the time you have generously shared with me in the preparation of this event, namely in my search for the perfect Ferris Wheel!!

Freyja, Katja, Yu, Soumet (whom RL kept away today), your always happy contribution with planning, building, scripting, revising, calming me down and cheering me up, warmed my heart!  Thank you! A special thanks to Sir Paul, who kindly set his amazing dance HUD here in the gardens so we can all enjoy it as well as to Ita who prepared the single dances hud by the stage with theme inspired moves...

Thank you to Maitre Dusty, Master Chicago, Master Sam, Sir Hettange, Sana, Tzeitel, Freyja and Kym for accepting to be on the Teams!

Phew! I will shush now! Let the games begin, and with that, Norma, take it away, 'cause I already have got chills, and they are multiplying!”

DJ Sadie provided a constant backdrop of music for the whole event, covering tunes from the famous movie Grease, as well as all our favourite, and sometimes obscure tunes from this era.

The game was fast, competitive and at times a wee bit racy!  The pace quick and in the end, the teasing by submissives worked as with a mere 3 point lead the submissives won the first part of the competition.  There was much laughing, cheering, and egging on from the crowds.

The improv game was followed by a car race across the Roissy Val d’Oise sim.  With much hooting and hollering, everyone getting stuck in corners, hitting poles, and almost landing in the river the submissives won the second part of the challenge.  After sorting out lag and technical difficulties Maitre Dusty and Sir Hettange had a friendly race and it was a tight one with Sir Hettange eeking out a friendly win in the end.

Blue hosted the kissing booth, offering up special kisses for an additional 5 cents.  While Yu guided riders on to the Ferris wheel to ensure all got safely onboard, although word has it that not all safety protocols were observed, and much silliness ensued.

The community supported demoiselle Mia in her sister event with amazing outfits, lots of in character chatter, and really fun 1950’s dances that were arranged by Sir Paul and Sister Ita.  As the party wound up, 95,510 lindens were raised for the sim, but more importantly people were having so much fun they were reluctant to leave and as the sun faded in the west, the community kept dancing.
