Roissy Ballroom was transformed into what felt like a sound stage on a Hollywood movie lot for American Idol or The Voice!  But it was for our own

ROISSY'S GOT TALENT

Sal's very original and unique Sister Event!

Five talents walked across the stage, starting off with the incredible Sir ChicagoSax who tantalized us with his very professional talent. Next, Demoiselle Lark showcased her "songbird" talent and enchanted us with her beautiful voice.  Master Dekegh and his guess, Scarface -- a dummy (oh yes!) had us laughing until tears rolled down our cheeks.  Sir Maverick warmed our hearts with a trombone version of a favorite musical number from the famous 'Lion King'.  The finale was, Miss Petra, as she delivered four physicological based monologues, two of which were very serious and two that were humorous.

Our panel of three judges (Aila, Maitre Sting and Sir Bereg), were direct and to the point, each elucidating what they liked best about each performance, but it was the audience that determined the winner.

The first place winner of ROISSY'S GOT TALENT is:

Demoiselle Lark!

with Master Dekegh and Scarface coming in second!

Wow! All 5 talents, however, were a wonderful representation of the hidden talents we have within our community.

Sal's Sister Event was a huge success.
