A spring sun shone upon the Chateau Garden stage as Maitre Thomas, Xanadu and Juliette walked onto it, taking their places. Shortly, Mentor Annie lead Asfidir to her cushion and the ceremony began with Xanadu's welcome.
"Maître Thomas, Honored guests, Welcome all to this joyous event for today we come together to witness the Graduation of Demoiselle Asfridr, who will join the exclusive ranks of the Roissy Val d'Oise Sisterhood.
"It is with some sadness that we bid farewell to this Demoiselle as she leaves her path here in Samois to rejoin the wider Roissy community. Her path does not end here it is ever evolving. But, this is a happy occasion that brings us here today as I am able to announce that as Samois loses a Demoiselle today, Roissy Val d'Oise gains a welcome Sister. As a Sister she will continue to be active with Samois as it is Sisters who will be the Mentors to the young and striving Debutantes and Demoiselles.
"Sisters will always be welcomed at Samois, it is their home and comfort center, if they should ever feel the desire or need. Myself and the Samois Sisters will always be available if you ever need a shoulder to lean on or just a friendly chat."
Maitre Thomas then gave welcome to everyone.
"Esteemed, and distinguished Members and Guests, your attendance here today supporting our Asdridr in her graduation means quite a lot to her and to all of us who watched her grow in her submission through her training here. It was not so long ago, I asked the new deb..are you from Europe with that name ?
"Today is a very special day for her as she graduates from Demoiselle Asfridr to Sister Asfridr, a significant milestone indeed. The path of a submissive is never an easy one...there are many hurdles almost as high as the 400M relay ones, but if it were easy anyone could and would do it. But because we expect a little more from our submissives, we see them falter often, some return admirably and some, well, not so much. Our submissives are not just 'anyone', they are special, they are, as we like to say, 'a cut above.
"Asfridr, has come to realize that a submissive can be a strong woman and still give herself freely and without reservation to the dominant that truly understands and respects her for who she is (and you know who you are *smiles*). Her true strength lies in her willingness to give. She is beginning to realize that her sense of honor, complete openness, willingness to please and her extreme loyalty are among the finest qualities that any submissive could hope to attain. This is indeed a proud moment for our lovely Asfridr. "

"W/we join this day in honor of a submissive who has completed the third phase of her path and arrived at her time of Sister Graduation. She got here because inside she learned of the pleasure, joy, and fulfillment of submission.
"I've heard it said that the House of Samois is the pulse of Roissy Val d'Oise, and i believe this is true, for with every new submissive that arrives, the heart beat increases... *smiles* We've all heard our lovely submissives likened to flowers, and this is also true. "Though it has mostly been from afar I've watched Asfridr, I have had the pleasure to interact with her a few times and enjoy her quiet, elegant ways, sensing that within her is the quality of a true submissive.
"Under the guidance of her Mentor, I trust that Asfridr has blossomed into the core of submission to such a strong degree that her devotion, loyalty and servitude to not only our wonderful Roissy Dominants, but also to our community will shine brightly and that Asfridr will shower us with her graceful presence for a long time.
"Asfridr, it has been a pleasure to participate on your submissive path, sharing in your milestone achievements, and it is with happiness that I celebrate your Graduation, and thus can welcome you into our Sisterhood!

"Asfridr has been nearing this day on a Peter Paul and Mary "jet train" ever since her New Year's Masquerade Ball event. Didn't see much of her then for all the mask. The next appearance that caught my eye was a Star Wars dance, where I believe she won second place for her costume.
"I voted for her, but other than telling you she looked a little like Jar Jar Binks with a long neck, I still didn't see much of her then either. So when a couple of weeks later I was asked to assist in her Final scene, I realized this was my chance to see all of her, grins, and she was more than willing!
"Thus began a five and one half hour scene that would endear her to Roissy here and now as a magnificent "Sister caliber woman." Let me add just a touch of color to that assertion. Finals I've learned are like a "shake down cruise" of a new ship. You do everything you can think of to see if anything breaks down. Ordinary chat, logs, scenes, events, are all perused in advance looking for cracks that might portend failure. Everyone of those cracks ends up being a focus of the Final.
" It was my style to lay traps, spring surprise drills, and evoke calamity to "shake her down." But for all my efforts at conniving, plotting, and out-and-out threatening ruin, she was unfazed, remaining poised, relaxed, self-possessed, nonplussed and adorable. Asfrid never once was anything but pleasing, while demonstrating an experienced range of skills.
"Everyone here would instantly understand and recognize in her those qualities were of a Roissy Val d'Oise submissive Sister, that was intent on maintaining a laser focus on her service. Whether it was the Dominate community, the House of Samois, the sorority of outstanding women here, or simply her inner most self, or all of them, to which we should attribute to her success, I don't know.
"What I do know, and hereby testify to, is that Asfridr has no impediment to being a Sister, and frankly possess every charm, gift and quality to be recognized as one of our best. To you Thomas', and everyone here, I thank you for also joining me in recognizing this fabulous submissive lady as worthy of being a Roissy Val d'Oise Sister."

"It is a pleasure for me to stand and speak for my lovely mentee, Asfridr. She is not only a mentee , she is a close and dear friend.. We have been partners in crime for about a year and learned much about each other in that time.
"Before i tell Y/you of my mentee, i have been asked to read the following words written by Mistress Derry, someone who was instrumental in helping Asfridr to complete her journey to Sister. Asfridr? Not a name I'd heard before, and being a lazy typist, I decided right away to abbreviate it to As. A choice which turned out to be quite apropos Coming to know this sweet submissive, I found her to be. ...As beautiful and rare as a double rainbow...As bright as a full moon on a clear night...As determined as a lioness defending her cub...and, As wonderful a girl as I have ever known.

The Confirment
"I am always taken aback by all the commendations," Maitre Thomas indicates to Xanadu his own confirmation to continue with the proceedings with a nod.
"Demoiselle Asfridr, come forward please and kneel before Maitre Thomas."
Asfridr Verne rises gently to heeled feet as they take her towards Maitre Thomas and kneels gracefully while shaking hands clash behind her back.
Maitre Thomas smiles looks at the Demoiselle before him then along the platform. Recalling all of their supportive words. Then looks out towards the gathered community, friends and family feeling very proud to be a part of this wonderful famille of Roissy Val d’ Oise.
He reaches into my suit pocket searching for the piece of neatly folded but worn linen stationary, with the taken notes on different occasions along her journey. Smiles looking toward all the Debutantes and Demoiselles and says, "you see ladies, I do take notes."
“You see here before you .... a submissive woman, one that has honored her path. She was accepted into the house Of Samois as a Debutante July 24th, 2016 and July was a very good month too
"She then progressed and moved on to the time of her Initiation on September 4th, 2016 where she served and was opened by Dominants of Chateau Roissy Val D’ Oise and became known as Demoiselle Asfridr."
"Her journey continued as she traveled along wanting to learn and absorb. December 17th, 2016 Asfridr presented an amazing workshop on "Transitioning from Monogamy to Poly. This sparked the interest of many. She interviewed myself and many others."
"She continued along next with her well planned Sister Event as she presented a "Formal Masquerade Ball" on January 1st, 2017. "
"Her Final Task was a test of her Submission based upon her strengths and weaknesses. The House of Samois received a notice of recommendation from Maitre JB that all was completed and she was worthy of Sisterhood."

With a little relief and a confident smile I find it. I inspect it closely seeing the gleaming golden ring sparkle and places it onto Demoiselle Asfridr’s finger crouching forward and speaks softly to her, “Congratulations Asfridr you will inspire many and warm the hearts of all of us..since you are our friend”

He sits back... So very proud, turning to Xanadu, "please Xanadu, give our newest Sister her rightful tag and let’s welcome her into our Sisterhood here at Roissy Val d'Oise"
"Yes Maitre Thomas .. then smiles to the kneeling Asfridr ... then looks round towards the assembled guests drawing their attention. "To become a Sister of Roissy Val d’ Oise a submissive has to have many qualities, some are as follows: To be Trustworthy, Graceful, Loyal, Humble, Obedient, Enduring, Patient and remain submissive no matter how hard that may be. You have shown these qualities."

I think back to when I first heard of Roissy Val d'Oise, I had gotten an IM from an old gorean friend of mine who at the time was trying to talk me into going back to gor, as I began to give him many reason why I wouldnt he told me about Roissy and he had also said I would never make it here because they are all Poly and I was not. So me being who I am thought I have to check this place out.*smiles* if my old friend could only seem me now.
I look around at everyone here knowing I couldn't have gotten through this without the help of many of you. No girl becomes a sister alone she brings with her every relationship, every scene, every chore, and every serve. And on the other side of those actions is a person, a relationship..
Annie my wonderful friend and mentor we met in another realm and we hit it off, I have learned so much from you , you are one of the most kindest people I have ever met and I thank you for guidance, for your patience and always being there to listening when I had doubts, you always had kind words and inspiration, you would tell me you can do this *smiles* and you were right.
Maitre JB. I didn't know you when I asked you to do my finals yet we sat for many nights discussing, getting to know each other before going over what would happen. I never imagined it would have been so incredible. I want to thank you for doing my finals with me. You showed me limits could be pushed and I would be ok and not break. You took me to a place of ultimate trust, compassion, understanding, among other places, I wont get into here. So again thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Mistress Derry, thank you Mistress Derry for always being here to explain things I didn't understand, to show me another path I never thought I would walk down and for being my rock through the rough patches and all the wonderful and fun times as well. You have such a big heart with so much love that overflows it. I am very lucky to have met you and Xanadu thank you for always being here, and being understanding and patient with me when I would get so excited about turning something in and always bugging you to make sure you read it. You have always been so kind to me, I watch your kindness while it flows so easily to others, it is no wonder you are our O and thank you for your help and guidance.
Nite your my best friend and have been for many many years, thank you for joining Roissy and for being here with me going through my path with me and thank you for letting me help you along your path, you will get there my bestie.
Maitre Thomas and Sadie I really want to thank you both for being my friend, sadie for always helping me, you have such a knack for beautiful pictures, for beautiful sayings and for the most wonderful music. Maitre Thomas, I am happy to call you my friend and lending an ear. You and Sadie are the perfect couple I can always see the love flow between you two.
Many here have played a roll in me being where I am today and I would like to thank those for always being here for me and having an open IM each time I didn't understand or got frustrated. *smiles* looking around knowing they all know who they are. I dont want to say names in fear I may leave someone out. so Thank you.
I do have to say to the Debs here now, it is a long and rewarding journey and you WILL make it, I did after all *smiles* I am not sure what else to say I am at a loss for words which doesn't happen very often. But I do want to thank Maitre Rene from the bottom of my heart for giving us a place to call home and allowing me here to meet the wonderful people who have touched my life Thank you Maitre Rene.

I ask that you please take your place before Maitre JB. Congratulations Asfridr .. on your advancement becoming a Honored .. Rossy ValD'Oise Sister. A Sister is to always be a positive example for our Debutantes Demoiselles Members and visitors of our community .
Asfrdr.. i found to be dedicated to her position and most helpful .. she offers herself in a subtle way but i know she is a strong willed Lady and quite sure of her submission . "Transitioning from Monogamy to Poly" was her Sister work shop which surely perked the interests of most here .. as it is a topic of transition and the travels from Monogamy to Poly which was wonderfully presented. I do encourage yall to attend next time she present this, her Sister event was a hit as it was truly the first of the year: 2017 Formal Masquerade Ball ".. we were dressed in a collage of outfits and masks we truly welcomed in 2017, It has been a pleasure for me to get to know her .. as it is for all of the submissives here at Vdo.. i honestly feel she will be a true asset to our community as an Honored Graduated Sister.
I would also like remind you .. becoming a Sister is not the end .. but another way to actively serve our community .. as there is another phase for those who are uncollared and still wish to continue to advance a bit further .. that of the " O Aspirante " .. being one who inspires to become a " Roissy"O"."
Although Maitre Rene was un able to be with us today .. I sincerely Thank Him for Him for His generosity and the gift you give us daily .. this wonderful community .. where we are free to learn and discover our inner selves safely.
First an primarily to out Dominates .. a sincere thank you to y'all for being here to encourage and help us .. as we learn and for also for your patience, To our submissives .. i personally thank each of you for your continual support .. please remember .. we never have to pursue anything here by ourselves ... for we are a team.
