Chip Althouse whistles imperceptively at the striking image of Ju and Bri together. Juelle turns to face Brianna as they wait patiently at the steps. Bri's gown swishes against the stone walk. Petra's lips curl into a smile. A bird chirps. A pink blossom flutters down.
“Sister Ju, please bring Demoiselle Brianna forward to kneel on the cushion near Maitre Dusty."
Leading the beauty to the platform steps, focused on her as opposed to the people gathered, "So...ready... for this." grinning, her arms embracing Bri in a quick tight hug before fingers unlace and pull free those natural breasts. Eyes gleamed with voyeuristic appreciation. "This is your time, sis."
Bri smiled over at her Sister, arching to ease Juelle’s deft touch with a soft dip of her head and shift of her hair out of the way then hugged her tightly back, smiled and tilted her chin for the leash to be released, a glimmer in her gaze to Juelle, then settled to the cushion near Maitre Dusty and watched those about her. Ju reaches and unclasps the leash, giving her hand a squeeze and tucking the chain into her dress to head to the cushion she is to settle on.
Xanadu stands facing the crowd, ”Maître Thomas, Honored guests, welcome all to this joyous event for the second time this week .. as we once again come together to witness the Graduation of our Demoiselle Brianna, who will join the exclusive ranks of the Roissy Val d'Oise Sisterhood. It is with some sadness that we bid farewell to this Demoiselle as she leaves her path here in Samois to rejoin the wider Roissy community. Her path does not end here it is ever evolving.
"But, this is a happy occasion that brings us here today as I am able to announce that as Samois loses a Demoiselle today, Roissy Val d'Oise gains a welcome Sister. As a Sister she will continue to be active with Samois as it is our Sisters who will be the Mentors to the young and striving Debutantes and Demoiselles. All Sisters and submissives of VdO are always welcomed at Samois, as it is our home and our comfort center, should we ever feel the desire or need. The Samois Sisters Venna and Ginger, Julie our Assistant or myself will always try to be available if you ever need a shoulder to lean on or just a friendly chat. Maitre Thomas I respectfully invite you to welcome everyone."

Thomas stands and glances, "Thank you Xanadu" and puts my hands on my hips, arm akimbo and gestures to the crowd, "Welcome trusted, and loyal members and guests, you are gathered here today for one of our oldest and most beloved traditions at Roissy Val d'Oise. This weekend we have the distinction of having a "two-for", two wonderful girls are made sisters and that is a special event indeed.”
Slipping my hands in my suit pockets finding my notes, again and speaking with pride, "The sister graduation is the cumulation of hard work and patience. Our Bri's graduation means quite a lot to her and to all of our family who watched her grow in her mission as a result of her training here. The road we all take here is never smooth and without bumps, I know Bri has shown the determination to make it through some hard issues. For that Bri, my personal commendation to you.
Bri dashes a look up at him, and smiles softly mouthing a "Thank you..."
Thomas walks towards Bri and smiles, winks to her, "Bri also is ‘themanyfacedgod.’ We all need to keep an eye on her as It has been said, ‘That man's life was not yours to take. A girl stole from the Many-Faced God. Now a debt is owed.’”
Bri purrs out merry laughter, eyes alight, as her friends chuckle and Ju’s blue eyes glitter, listening
Thomas smiles and walks to the center, "The sisters of our sim earn the right to be called ‘sister’ and are not granted a tag on admission or being around for 2 weeks like some sims do. It is our integrity here that matters the most, somethings the rules here are hard to swallow, but it is how a person deals with them and treat others no matter how hard it may be. Bri's character did shine through. She stayed the course and followed our rules and kept her integrity. Our submissives are not just 'anyone', they have graduated from the most complete submissive training path in second life, bar none. Please continue, Xan.”
Xanadu smiles to him before responding "Yes Maître Thomas and thank you for your kind and encouraging words regarding Demoiselle Brianna." She smiles to Ginger...."Sister Ginger please welcome everyone on behalf of the House of Samois."

Rising from the cushion and stepping forward, Ginger then responded, "Thank you Xana, Maitre Thomas, Distinguished Members on the stage and those present in the audience. It is my pleasure to represent the House of Samois as I welcome everyone. "Today we celebrate the accomplishments Demoiselle Brianna has made on her path to becoming a Roissy Val D'Oise Sister. Becoming a Sister takes patience, knowledge and determination, Bri has made all of these apparent in her vitality and her willingness to help others in their path. We thank every one for supporting Roissy Val D'Oise with your presence .. as we celebrate these memories shared on Brianna's Special Day.” and she turns and smiles to her .. “Congratulations to you my Sister Brianna…” and she returned to her cushion and knelt with Bri’s smile returned.
"Thank you Sister Ginger for your gracious welcome from the House of Samois and your encouraging words to Demoiselle Brianna. and Xanadu smiles to Maitre Dusty, “I invite you to read Maitre Hadaway's words and let us know of his recommendations for Demoiselle Brianna.”

Dusty stands and looks around... "So pleasing to see everyone here " and Brianna peeks up at Maitre Dusty and offers him a small smile in thanks for his presence, and his willingness to help. “Thank you Thomas for your kind words ..The following are the words from Maitre Hadaway who could not be with us tonight..
“Ladies and Gentlemen, Masters, Sisters, Doms and Dommes, debs and interns .. welcome and good evening.or perhaps good morning to you all..Thank you for coming and helping to make this a very special day for Brianna Marie. It is a special day, the culmination of a lot of hard work on Demoiselle Bri's part.. The day when she transforms from a hard working Demoiselle into an even harder working Sister.. and ... mmm... how she deserves that transformation.
He smiles down to the lovely Bri, knowing how much she has worked toward this day, then, speaking for Hadaway again, "I have known Bri for some time .. watched her travel her path here at Vd'O .. yet it was still a surprise for me when she asked if I would take the honour of Maitreing her through her final assignment, her final push to sisterhood of our great family here. But it was an honour that I agreed to without hesitation and we set about the task of proving this young lady for the position which she is about to take up."
Meanwhile, Ju fidgets, and forces herself to still, nibbling at her lower lip and looking over to the speaker and Brianna on her knees at his feet. Fingers smoothing her skirt down --- and Bri catches Juelle's fidget, grins a li'l and peers back up at Maitre Dusty, listening...
"As always it starts with discussion... communication that oh so important ingredient to everything that we do .. we spent a long time talking about what was liked, disliked, hated and loved .. We studied the words Xana had left for us in her assessment and instruction for this the final assignment. Plans were hatched thoughts brought together as we set to implementing them ..It was not always easy and like all Dems finally given that Last assignment Bri was no exception to wanting to ‘get it done’ but it is not a quick fix ..not something to be rushed.. it is something to be worked at and savored .. and Bri did just that... We worked through every aspect that had been discussed and Bri proved herself to be an exemplary candidate for our sisterhood. Her submission is unquestioned, her dedication admirable and her personality shone through through out her tasks . I was impressed .. pleased and have to say delighted at how she responded .. even when pushed to... beyond her boundaries she refused to be provoked into losing her cool and proved beyond doubt what a capable young lady she is .. time and again she showed her submission is not fake, but genuine, from her heart and for me she came through this final assignment with pride and dignity proving what a great submissive she is. So after a year of her dedication we come to this day ..Bri’s day - a very special day in her calendar, one we trust she will remember for a very long time, It is the culmination of a lot of effort one which will see her enter the ranks of Sisterhood at Roissy Val d’Oise. Casting aside her Demoiselle tag.. but I know Bri well and know that she will not see this as the end , but will see it as a new beginning.. She will I know gladly accept the challenges that will come to her in her new role. I know she will wear her sister tag with pride and will be a great asset to this great Family we have here.”
”And I might add that every word of Maitre Hadaway is true..... I know Bri to be an exceptional example of what it takes to be a Roissy Sister and I am proud to call her my friend as well."
Bri offered a softened “Thank you, Maitre…” eyes blinking away tears and a gentle smile on her lips.
Dusty turns to Maitre Thomas and Xanadu ... continuing from Hadaway's speech "It is with a great joy in my heart that I, Maitre Hadaway Broadway, am so proud to fully recommend Brianna Marie to be enrolled to the rank of Sister of Roissy Val d'Oise. Congratulations Bri you can rightly be proud of your achievement that brings you here today.." and he returns to his seat, smiling at her
“Thank you Maitre Dusty for presenting Maître Hadaway's wonderful recommendation for our Brianna and for your personal statement “.and Xanadu looks to Ju, "Sister Ju please present your remarks for your mentee Brianna."

Ju takes a breath and rises, fingers lightly smoothing down her dress, forcing them to rest at her sides and willing the fidgeting to go, offering a curl of her lips in smile softly offering a formal, "Thank you Xanadu. Thank you, to all Maitres, Maitresses, Masters, Mistresses, Sirs, Misses, Debs, Dems, Sisters, famille and guests of Roissy VdO. I don't think I missed anyone there." eyes glitter. "I will try not to spill the champagne with my movements up here." She turns her chin from the crowd, and looks towards Brianna, eyes filled with emotion as she offers her sister a knowing smile. Turning to look back to those gathered.
"Today is a celebration that is very special to me. It is the graduation of Brianna. I found myself contemplating what to do with this speech, and procrastinating, - even more than usual. It is hard to put into words my feelings here today." smiles, and takes a breath. "Let me say that looking back on the day I met my sister we became friends instantly. I do not remember when exactly that was but I added her on my friends list Oct. 16, 2007. A time when i had ... the need for an angel like her. As time does we had taken different paths here, though would catch up on occasion, and Bri had parts of my rl to track what was going on as well as here in sl. Then, I remember when she came to me considering joining Roissy, wanting to the sense of community we had in Iaomai. I was thrilled that she might join and instantly was at Xanadu to permit me to be her mentor. Brianna has always been the organized one in our friendship, the one I go to to ask questions of formality or double check on facts. She is definitely more linear than me, and it came as no surprise that she was considering her workshop and event from her first day as a deb.
"I enjoyed reminding her as she moved through her deb path and lessons in loss and connection into her demoiselle role to enjoy the various emotions and experiences as they came. She is a focused and determined woman, whose drive to succeed and do so on a path of obedience at all times is amazing to watch. She chose a workshop that was a detailed formula in advanced collar manipulation 'Collar Tricks 201 - This isn't your Mama's collar.' and it was a huge success."
Bri tugs the hanky out of her corset and balls it up in her hand, knowing she's going to need it in a moment...
“There is so much I can say about this woman, who knows me in all realms, and all ways. I have watched her grow, never altering the core of the woman she is through her paths here, which was detailed through her sister event ‘Song & Dance.’. She handles my pushing her to consider 'how does this serve to make you a better submissive' with class, patience and thoughtful reflection even though I know at times she wants to strangle me” turns to give her sister a grin, winks towards her, and continues, "Everyone here likely understands that Brianna and I have a history.
"But perhaps not the deepness or the strength of our friendship to move through time and space and challenge only grow stronger. Brianna is my sister, my friend, my mentee, and a kindred spirit. I protect her with the same fierceness she shows in her loyalty as my friend. And through her journey here, she has re-found her surrender, her submissive spirit, and her willingness to challenge how deep that can go even when things aren't following the linear path she understands. So for that I am grateful to all in our community.." takes a breath, "It is the way things should be with in our lifestyle, and within our famille. As up and down as we may be at times, in the end, it is our learning, and our growth that we are blessed to receive from this home Maitre Rene has given us." and Ju smiles softly and blinks away tears, Taking a slow breath to continue. "And to add.... What would I do without the many corrections in grammar and spelling Bri offers? Not to mention she is the first to let me know about wardrobe malfunctions." chuckles, "Brianna has helped me edit and organize things with the gallery, stepping in when there were no others available to, and she has written for awhile now with the website journalist team. She takes an active role and already shines here. She is a committed member of the community here and I know this will increase with her much deserved title of sister.
"At times I have had to remind her to remember patience. To recenter and appreciate the game of 'hurry up and wait'. That her path is not about the end result, but about what she can do in it to be a better submissive, and it was her excitement and drive that kept her pushing forward through her workshop and event, and then into her finals. All the while Bri has maintained a consistent place in the community and as a part of play in the Chateau. Those who have gotten to know her, adore this part of who she is. She has grown in communication, surrender, and I am sure, joy." Ju turns to Maitre Thomas and Xanadu, still smiling "I know that Brianna will be an amazing, and successful sister here at Roissy." Then takes a shaky breath and turns to Brianna once more. "My sister, my friend, my partner in crime.... I love you with all my heart and I am so proud of you that words cannot describe. You have worked so hard to be where you are at this moment, through everything we've been through today is a day to celebrate it all...",
Brianna shifts her glasses up a moment, dabs at her eyes and pretends it's a bit of dust she's cleaning off... then darts a look up at Juelle again... then blows her a kiss. Ju smiles through the tears, unashamed of the fact they roll down her cheeks, catching the kiss easily , "I am honoured I was able to play the role of your mentor here, and that we have found our way back to each other through the community and the experience." Sh peers back to the audience, "Thank you to all here today, and all who have been a part of Brianna's path here to celebrate one of the most amazing women I know." and Ju exhales, turning and moving back to kneel on the cushion, while Bri lets her own tears fall, her bright blues watching her sister as she settles to the cushion.
" Thank you Sister Ju for even a more in depth insight to our Graduating Demoiselle Bri. Maitre Thomas, you have heard the earnest recommendations of Maitre Hadaway and Sister Ju, her mentor. I respectfully invite you to confer to Demoiselle Brianna the title and the ring of Sisterhood"
T H E C O N F E R M E N T
The big Maitre nods in acknowledgment, sits back in his chair, rubbing his stubble and thinking and reflecting on the comments and recommendations spoken today before confirming, then warmly smiles to the assembled Roissy family and says, "Please proceed Xanadu ".
"Demoiselle Brianna, come forward and kneel before Maitre Thomas."
Bri unfolds from her kneel, rocking back on her toes to make her way across the stage, then gracefully settles before Maitre Thomas with a softened smile up at his face, bright blues finding his chocolate browns, still gripping that handkerchief behind her.
He looks at the Demoiselle before him then along the platform. Recalling all of their supportive words as he often does. He looks out towards the gathered community, friends and family feeling very proud to be a part of this wonderful famille of Roissy Val d’ Oise. He reaches into his pocket searching for the piece of neatly folded but worn linen stationary, where he has taken notes on different occasions along her journey. Smiles looking toward all the Debutantes and Demoiselles and says, "you see Submissives, I do take notes."
"You see here before you .... a submissive woman, one that has honored her path. She was accepted into the house of Samois as a Debutante October 16, 2017. She then progressed and moved on to the time of her Initiation on November 22, 2017, where she served and was opened by Dominants of Chateau Roissy Val D’ Oise and became known as Demoiselle Brianna. Her journey continued as she traveled along wanting to learn and absorb. On, Brianna presented an amazing workshop with the titled "Collar Tricks 201" March 7, 2018. She continued along next with her well planned Sister Event as she presented the amazing "Song & Dance" April 8th, 2018. Her Final task was a test of her Submission based upon her strengths and weaknesses. The Adjointe de Samois Xanadu received a notice of recommendation from Maitre Hadaway that all was completed and she was worthy of Sisterhood.
"Now today she kneels before us on Sunday May 27th , to receive what she had committed herself too, the giving of her submission, and today she will have bestowed upon her the VDO ring and title of Sister. You have heard about her journey and her commitment that has brought her today. Here is a true inspiration for those who still have to complete their journey." Thomas takes Demoiselle Brianna’s hand as he digs deep into his pockets searching for the ring before finding the correct one.
Brianna untucks her arm from behind her and rests her fingers lightly in his, watching him calmly with that brilliant gaze. Then, with a little relief and a confident smile Maitre Thomas finds it. As he inspects it closely seeing the gleaming golden ring sparkle and places it onto Demoiselle Brianna’s finger crouching forward as he speaks softly to her, “Congratulations Brianna you will inspire many.”
He sits back... So very proud, turning to Xanadu, "please Xanadu, give our newest Sister her rightful tag and let’s welcome her into our Sisterhood here at Roissy Val d'Oise"
The new Sister whispers back a heartfelt “Thank you, Maitre Thomas…” and squeezes his fingers softly before tucking her hand back behind her, her thumb teasing over the shimmering metal as she smiles.
Following Maitre Thomas's instruction .. Xanadu smiled to our kneeling Demoiselle Brianna .. then looks round towards the assembled members and guests drawing their attention.
"To become a Sister of Roissy Val d’ Oise a submissive has to have many qualities, some are as follows: To be Trustworthy, Graceful, Loyal, Humble, Obedient, Enduring, Patient ..... and remain submissive no matter how hard that may be. You have shown these qualities. Demoiselle Brianna .... No more will you carry that title........Cast it aside and wear this one that I give you at this time...... Wear the mark of Sisterhood with pride as you go out to a new and exciting future in Roissy Val d'Oise. I remind you to always serve with passion and fire .. and always from your heart. Sister Brianna .....Congratulations Sister Brianna and welcome our honored Roissy Val d'Oise Sisterhood ."
After about 40 cheering fans finally give Xanadu a chance to speak again, she says, "Sister Brianna, please stand and take a moment to speak to all your friends assembled here today."
S I S T E R ' S S P E E C H
Brianna Marie took a deep breath, rising to her feet, looking out over the assembled crowd, and with the soft smile on her lips so typical of herself, began to speak. “When I committed to Roissy… it was because of someone very near and dear to my heart. I had visited off and on over the last few years, sitting in on a couple workshops, meeting the random person here or there, and slipping quietly out the back after each, not leaving much trace or impression behind. However, until I found out that Juelle had become a Sister here, I hadn’t considered being anything more than an occasional passerby. She and I sat and talked, compared Roissy to where we’d started in our past, discussing similarities and differences. I missed that sort of environment, and so I decided I’d give it a try. A little ditty started playing in my head, light accompaniment, or so I thought, to the path I was starting on."
She chuckled lightly “At the time, I was collared and happy, I just wanted a way to experience new perspectives… maybe learn a little along the way, and be among people with a common goal, and shared familiarity. After all, I’d spent nearly fourteen years in world in various sims and locations, had known Juelle for ten of those with the same roots - what else was there to discover about myself? Right? (This is obviously not my first rodeo in SL). I found out… Gods, so much more.” and Ju grins amongst the cheering, eyes bright as she replays those conversations.
Bri ’s smile turned a bit wry as she continued “I worked through my Debutante log rather quickly, only seventeen days start to finish, and then had the -excellent- idea, of coaxing my then-Owner to join me here.” a faint wince, and soft smile “He became an Intern just before I was initiated as a Demoiselle, about a month after I started. That may not seem like long, but - for me? It was. ‘Patience’ - I was told, the first time of many, but I wasn’t trying to rush.
When there’s a goal before me, I -need- to finish it. They say take things at your own pace, as it should be :smiles softly but chuckles: Well, this -was- my pace, not rushing, just… completing. Thanksgiving was true to form in many ways. The thread of my song was picking up steam, getting more complicated as I started to realize what I’d truly gotten myself into, but I leapt over that first hurdle and now I was off and running." Bri’s wry expression softened, stifled some “So, I dove right in again to my Demoiselle log, yay me… only to be derailed. Too long of a silence between stanzas, too many rests, not enough song and the music faltered. Christmas wasn’t so merry, and my New Year’s resolution was to move forward on my own without Him. One learning experience down! I was stronger than I thought. A new page turned, a new melody sought with many of the same threads, but my guiding instrument gone." A slight pause in thought...
"Bri's lips curved gently again, her assured manner slowly returning. "Correction, that was two learning experiences. Not only was I stronger than I thought, but I learned who my true friends were, because without them, the story might have been much different. I likely wouldn’t be here now, and the happy symphony my song became might have been lost and simply become a forgotten theme.” Her gaze trails out amongst the crowd, taking a moment, picking out certain faces and giving them each a grateful smile as her eyes tear up.
She took another deep breath and considered a moment, her expression deep in thought then looked over to Juelle as she spoke again “As I worked through my Demoiselle log, Juelle and I continued to speak daily - and often. It didn’t feel like a traditional mentor/mentee relationship, there wasn’t structured times or formal talks, we’d been friends far too long. But we’d slip into little conversations and every once in a while she’d surprise me. Little struggles I’d had - or bigger ones - she’d turn into opportunities for growth, and even when I didn’t think it was necessarily a test of my submission, she showed me how I could better myself in that consideration. I haven’t thanked her enough for that.”
Bri smiles at her ‘Sister from another Mister’ before continuing. “Juju became the strength of my song, my guiding star, even through our own rough patches. No one is perfect of course, certainly not me.” A wry laugh passes, her fingers lift to her lips and she carefully blows Juelle a kiss in thanks. “Those that know me well, know there are very few people in my life that I will use the word 'love' with. I can count them on one hand. Juelle - well... I love you Sis, I still owe you. I always will.”
Ju smiles, so proud of who she is looking to. Lifting a hand to clear the tears that are surely ruining her carefully applied mascara, and mouthing "i love you too."
Bri looked back over the crowd again, her lips curving once more. “All those little notes, slowly building, finding their place on the staff, writing a pattern in my mind. I got my log done, yippee, jumped into my workshop, and was torn two ways again… But though both concepts were strengths, my love of writing, and my more… technical side, I decided to build what I thought would benefit the community more and help clear up some confusions. My sister event, well, I couldn’t do ‘just a dance’ - it wouldn’t have been me."
She paused a moment, a hopeful glance then warming smile "I think those that attended enjoyed it. It was hectic and chaotic in the background - thankfully, you didn’t see that..." another purr of soft laughter, her eyes flicking to Juelle, Sadie, Juli, Sir Wick, Beauti and Asfridr in turn with another grateful glance for their parts. "...but we had fun, and it was another thread woven in the complicated composition of my path.”
As Sefa, Wick, Beauti and the others sympathize with sighs or tears, and Sadie smiles warmly, tears glistening in her eyes, Bri took another deep breath then smiled once more “My final. Patience. It’s something invoked often here at Roissy, from the very beginning of our Paths… Patience in working through logs, ‘You’re not in a rush, take your time…’ Yes, patience is an oft-needed virtue for both sides, Dominant -and- submissive. After all, people learn by repetition, over time - until you hit that sudden Hallelujah and everything falls into place. But patience shouldn’t be pushed over drive, persistence shouldn’t be laid aside by pattern. We had some delays, and frustrations, likely more my frustrations than his." and she laughed softly and glanced over at Maitre Dusty for Maitre Hadaway, with a wry smile “... But in the end, it wasn’t patience I needed to get past my last hurdle, I had that in spades. It was persistence… it was breaking down and realizing that sometimes I can be -too- patient, and, just asking for what I need, giving voice to my frustrations may be the -making- point, not a breaking point. Thank you for -your- patience, Maitre.”
Brianna’s eyes lower again, her soft smile tender now, thinking... “I’ve been asked a lot over the last few weeks ‘What will you do when you’re a Sister?' My response has been ‘Everything I can. I want to help, to teach, to give back.’ I realized somewhere along the way, my intention of just ‘being around others like me’ shifted to ‘being able to be -of- help to others, instead of asking -for- help’. I’ve learned… quite a bit, more than I thought, and I want to
