The invitation read, "It is with extreme pleasure that the House of Samois invites You to the graduation of Demoiselle Calico in our Chateau Gardens." And while seats filled almost to capacity, Sister Rosa walks towards the stage, leading her mentee Calico with her leash attached to the strap on her thigh. Once at the stage, she detaches the leash, smiles to our shy Calico, and then gracefully lowers herself down and kneels on a cushion, adjusting her dress about her.
Xanadu rises and facing those gathered she announces, "Honored guests, Welcome all to this joyous event for today as we come together to witness the Graduation of Demoiselle Calico”. Following a brief introduction Xanadu invited Maitre Thomas to give a formal welcome.

Maitre Thomas rises and after thanking Xanadu he speaks to the tradition of the sister graduation, to it’s “culmination of persistent and hard work with many tasks both fun and arduous. Calico's, graduation means quite a lot to her and to all of our family who watched her grow as a result of her training here." He continues to state that it is not just a significant milestone for Calico, but also for the whole community.
Sister Venna is then invited to speak on behalf of the Samois Sisters.

As Venna rises gracefully she looks out at the gathered family and friends, and with a smile and a nod of her head she begins. She turns to the those gathered on the stage. Giving a warm greeting. "Welcome Maitres, Maitresse, Master, Sirs, Sisters, family and friends of Roissy “, before turning once more to face everyone gathered today for this Graduation Ceremony. "It is with honour and pride that I stand here before you all to give Celebration of the wonderful achievements of our beautiful submissive today. . I welcome and thank you all for joining us".
Venna’s speech continues with "Today the House of Samois welcomes our beautiful Calico. We celebrate and share in all of her accomplishments, her achievements and in how she has integrated into our family. We will hear shortly how this adorable submissive journeyed from Deb to this point, and how she showed her grace, beauty, commitment and submission to our wonderful Dominants".
"What I will say however, is, do not think of her journey as just a passage of time. It is more than that, as all submissives discover. It is a journey of learning, of growth, of honour and duty. Of commitment, of love, trust and respect". Not only for herself and our Dominants who have helped her along the way. but of our wonderful home and family. Nowhere is there, or ever will be a place like Roissy Val Du'Oise".
Venna glances over to the beautiful Calico. Open palm reaching towards her. "For here", turning my head and smiling to everyone, “is the proof. Another beautiful and dedicated flower to grace our wonderful Home".
Xanadu then invites Maitre Sting to present his recommendation as the Finals Maitre, on behalf of the dominants.
R E C O M M E N D A T I O N
Maitre Sting rises and thanks everyone for coming today. He then offers a brief description explaining that when he and Calico met, they had a long discussion and based on that he worked out several scenes for which he could analyze her limits and where he could push them in depth.
Maitre Sting was deliberate to add that as he moved forward, he always kept in mind that it would be safe, sane and “in a common sense of respect, away from dirty or hurtful things." There was also an exploration of the area in ways to cause pain per the disciplinary scene. “Calico accepted discipline where I pushed her a little in pain, but that's not what she takes the best."
Maitre Sting concluding his speech gives Calico a gentle caress on her head and offers his final approval “I didn't feel any resistance from her, no anger, just maybe trying to tease my requests. I am pleased to recommend her today and wish her good luck in her role as a sister. Thank you, Calico, for choosing me for your Finals Maitre."
M E N T O R ‘ S S P E E C H
Sister Rosa is invited to offer a few words as Calico’s mentor. Rosa raises gracefully from her cushion and gives her mentee a warm smile, then looking over to the crowd of assembled Roissy family she begins with a warm welcome. After looking at her notes a moment, she continues:
“I did not know Calico when she first joined Roissy, but I quickly realized when I first met her that day that she was a quiet and reserved girl. Calico persevered on her path to Sisterhood. She gave an interesting workshop on Disability and D/s which I am sure was not easy for her to write, because she tells me all the time "I am not a writer" , but really she is quite good. She also successfully completed her Sister Event which was a fun and unique activity. Well done Calico!”
“Maître Thomas, I recommend Calico for Sisterhood of Roissy Val d'Oise". After giving her final recommendation of Calico for Sisterhood of Roissy Val d'Oise, Rosa gives a respectful bow and returns to kneel on the pillow.
After hearing all the recommendations, Xanadu respectfully invites Maitre Thomas to confer on Demoiselle Calico the title and the ring of our Sisterhood.
T H E C O N F E R M E N T
Maitre Thomas sits back in my chair thinking and reflecting on the comments and recommendations I heard today before confirming), he rubs my chin and winks, "I am always taken aback by all the commendations."
Maitre Thomas looks at the Demoiselle before him then along the platform. Recalling all of the supportive words. He then looks out towards the gathered community. He pulls out a piece of neatly folded stationary and as he speaks, he offers a brief timeline of Calico’s path. “You see here before you a submissive woman, one that has honored her path. She was accepted into the House of Samois on February 17, 2018 as Debutante Calico. She then progressed and moved on to the time of her Initiation on April 9th, where she served and was opened by Dominants of Chateau Roissy Val D’ Oise and became known as Demoiselle Calico. Her journey continued as she traveled along wanting to learn and absorb. On July 9th, 2020 she presented an awesome workshop titled * Disability & D/s* She continued next with her well planned "Demolition Ball Game" Sister Event presented on August 9th. Her Final task was a test of her Submission based upon her strengths and weaknesses. The Adjointe de Samois Xanadu then received a notice from Sting of his favorable recommendation and that all was completed verifying she was worthy of Sisterhood."
Maitre Thomas continues “Now today she kneels before us on October 25, 2020, to receive what she had committed herself too, the giving of her submission, today she will have bestowed upon her the VDO sister ring and title of Sister." Leaning forward, he takes Demoiselle Calico's hand as he digs deep into his pockets searching for the ring before finding the correct one., he places it onto Demoiselle Calico's finger crouching forward as I speak softly to her, “Congratulations Calico you will inspire many.”
S I S T E R ' S S P E E C H
Calico rises, facing those gathered in celebration after greeting she begins “My speech will not be long, but I wanted to share just a bit. I never know how to accept the attention our famille gives to me. Before returning to Roissy, most of the other places I visited chose, because of my shyness, to either ignore and cast me aside. " Calico smiles to those on the platform and to the audience, “So having attention given to me is actually a welcoming feeling and a new experience to me."
Calico continues her speech “Thank you, Members and Admin of Roissy for accepting me as I am. I stopped pretending to be anything than what and who I was when I came here. Sincerely I thank you all for letting me be myself and for not trying to change me. That is part of what brought me back to Roissy."
The newly minted Sister Calico smiles and goes on “I have learned from every mistake because every experience, encounter, and particularly your mistakes are there to teach you and force you into being more of who you are. I have made many friends here who accept me for who I am and who do not try to change me, but to help me as I grew in my path. I have such respect for all the Dominants of Roissy and all my Sisters who have walked and continue to walk this path in their own special way. This is what makes Roissy special, we are allowed to grow in our own way and not be carbon copies of each other."
Calico closes her address with a thank you to Xanadu and Rosa, to her fellow sisters and to Maitre Thomas and all the Doms, Masters, Mistresses, Maitres and Maitresses who are too many to name who have been here to help her. Finally, she offers a thank you to Maitre Rene for providing this lovely place for us and sharing his ideas in teaching us safely about BDSM.
Xanadu stands and turns to Calico “Thank you for your words and I know each word was written with sincerity from your heart. Getting to know you better has been my pleasure in these past few months.” With that Xanadu begins to speak as Adjointe de Samois and addresses the famille and friends gathered.
S U M M A T I O N
"Calico is quiet and her shyness was quite apparent when we met and while I watched her. I can say that I truly feel she has been and will continue to grow. I feel that Calico has shown her submissiveness not only from her log scenes, from what as we have heard from Maitre Sting's recommendation and from her mentor Rosa. Our finals are inclusive of the teachings we receive here at Roissy, allowing us to realize our growth since joining and beginning our respective paths.”
"As confirmed to us with Maitre Sting 's very favorable recommendation, today Calico has been elevated to the status of an honored Roissy Vdo Sister on her own merits. Once graduated, Sisters continue to assist others in our community on their paths, as well as the usual touring hosting and presentation of various workshops.
Xanadu faces the audience to close "For this, I sincerely thank y’all. Your continued support to the House of Samois in the variety of things you do is indeed needed. Each of you are special to me and I am here for you .. but above all y’all are very important to the success of VdO.
"In closing remember to hold high the principals of Roissy Val D'Oise .. that Maitre Rene has provided. We have the Best of the Best here. The positive support we offer to each other, only insures to reinforce our strength and continued growth, proving once again " We are Family”.

Maitre Thomas rises, pours some champagne for himself and Calico and turns to the gathered crowd raising his glass and speaks, "Come everyone and raise your glass with me in congratulating and welcoming Calico into the sisterhood here at Roissy Val d'Oise! A time for you to reflect and celebrate on your past, present and future. A time to rejoice and celebrate. Calico, it is with honor to call you a Sister of Roissy Val d’ Oise. I encourage each of us as members to take a look deep inside ourselves, be the example setters for others as we lead and guide.
