The night was warm, and the moon was yellow, and the leaves were starting to fall -- as Maitre Thomas, Maitre Taylor, Xanadu, Sadie, Venna,  and former Demoiselle Saras gathered to walk down the aisle and face the gathering crowd in our beautiful Chateau Garden.

"Sister Sadie please bring forward Demoiselle Saras and place her on the cushion near Maitre Taylor."

Xanadu smiles "Maître Thomas, honored guests, welcome all to this joyous event for today we come together to witness the Graduation of Demoiselle Saras, who will join the exclusive ranks of the Roissy Val d'Oise Sisterhood. It is with some sadness that we bid farewell to this Demoiselle as she leaves her path here in Samois to rejoin the wider Roissy community. Her path does not end here it is ever evolving. But, this is a happy occasion that brings us here today as I am able to announce that as Samois loses a Demoiselle today, Roissy Val d'Oise gains a welcome Sister. As a Sister she will continue to be active with Samois as it is Sisters who will be the Mentors to the young and striving Debutantes and Demoiselles. Sisters will always be welcomed at Samois, it is their home and comfort center, if they should ever feel the desire or need. Myself and the Samois Sisters will always be available if you ever need a shoulder to lean on or just a friendly chat. Maitre Thomas I respectfully invite you to welcome everyone."

Maitre Thomas smiles, opening my arms slightly as if to embrace the crowd, "Esteemed, and loyal Members and Guests,  you are gathered here today for one of our oldest and most beloved traditions at Roissy Val d'Osie."  Bringing my arms back, then standing arms akimbo,  speaking with pride, "The sister graduation is the cumulation of hard work and patience. Our Saras' graduation means quite a lot to her and to all of our family who watched her grow in her mission as a result of her training here. Today is a very special day for her as she graduates from Demoiselle Saras to Sister Saras, a significant milestone indeed. The path of a submissive is never an easy one, but if it were easy anyone could and would do it. The sisters of of sim earn the right to be called 'sister' and are not granted a tag on admission like some sims do. Our submissives are not just 'anyone', they have graduated from the most complete submissive training path in second life.

"Our path has been historically by far the best submissive training on Second Life. This is evident in how many people copy our path. Many people try to copy and say that they are as good as us. But we know different, don't we my friends ? Saras' has emerged from our training path, as a strong submissive that gives herself freely and without reservation to a Dominant. Please continue, Xanadu."

"Thanks you Maitre Thomas for those kind and encouraging words." Xanadu turns and smiles to Venna...."Venna would you please welcome everyone on behalf of the House of Samois?"

Venna stands quickly, straightening her gown  making sure I don't drop all the sheets of paper for The House of Samois  welcome speech. Looking towards those on the platform with me, smiling warmly at them and then to the lovely Saras' (They blow each other kisses, smiles) "Thank you Xanadu. "Welcome Maitre's, Maitresses, Masters, Mistresses, Sirs and Misses, Debs, Dems, Sisters and guests of Roissy VDO" smiles and Saras".  acknowledging everyone with a bright smile. "Every time I stand up here and look down upon my family  that are gathered here to congratulate another Submissive who has traveled the path so many of us have already trod, my heart fills with pleasure and pride. Pleasure....to be here to celebrate with everyone... and... Pride to be able to represent the House of Samois in welcoming you on this wonderful occasion. It is a testament to our close family community, that so many  have come to celebrate the accomplishments of this beautiful Demoiselle today".  Looks over to Sara's once more and then out to the sea of smiling faces gathered in the Chateau Gardens.  Xanadu said earlier, 'today we say farewell to a Demoiselle who has completed her path, and to welcome a Sister into Roissy Val d'Oisse.' I am sure you all agree with that statement. Saras joins an ever growing number of beautiful  submissives who have learnt to hone their skills of submission here at Roissy. Skills that will please any dominant and keep her in very high regard and useful service. Skills that will also please her Master time and time again". Smiles down to Master Sahrin. We know that the path of a submissive is not an easy one. The title 'Sister', is not given on a whim. It is earned through hard work and diligence.  A lot of us have the scars to prove it"!   chuckles softly. Saras joined  Roissy Val d' Oisse with her beloved Master Sahrin, deciding  to follow this path together,  (which is not an easy one for any of us), with his help and guidance. This beautiful submissive brought with her such intellect, curiosity, strength, oodles of fun and the love of art that culminated in an amazing Sister event. She  told us of her journey into the word of BDSM and her many 'ahh' moments on that journey, through her stimulating and imaginative Workshop 'Sexual Objectification. In her workshop she told us all about making changes and adjusting to new experiences, and not being afraid or guilty when the goal posts are moved. That is what we do here, as we follow our respective paths. We learn, grow, change and adapt and hopefully come out at the other  end  to be the person we  hope has reached the goals we set out to achieve. Saras also showed her extraordinary ability to organise and entertain, and this culminated in an Art Exhibition and Auction for her Sister event which produced an amazingly large amount of Lindens being donated towards our wonderful home.Sir Sahrin also generously  donating lindens to round the figure upto an amazing L$30,000. Well Done Saras. (Jaymelie whispers "woow") So here we are, celebrating all of the wonderful accomplishments  this beautiful, talented, Demoiselle has achieved". (Saras coughs "$42K")

"It is your presence here today, that shows we all acknowledge those achievements and each and everyone of you is what makes this day special for her. We will all share in Sara's memories of her journey along that path and hear of those achievements, and as a family community, we will help her to continue being the beautiful submissive she has become". Smiles across to Saras once more and tucking the  papers into my pocket moves to the cushion and kneels gracefully.

"Thank you Venna for your gracious welcome from the House of Samois and your encouraging words to Saras. " and Xanadu  turns to Maitre Taylor, "will you please speak in behalf of Maitre Hadaway today and let us know his recommendation for Saras ?"

Taylor stands and reaches into his coat pocket for the notecard Maitre Hadaway sent him, he pulls it out and along with it comes a butplug that falls to the stage floor, he sees it and uses his foot to push it under saras' cushion.

Saras blinks, coughs, blushes a bit, and Taylor slides his glasses on and begins, "Here are Maitre Hadaway's words for you Saras:

"If you are hearing this from Taylor…then my apologies that I could not be with you all this morning, afternoon, evening  ..either through pressures of time or my broken down PC. A thank you to all of you who did make it to help Saras celebrate this wonderful achievement in her path..  and believe me… she has worked so hard for this.  I have known Saras for only a few months, but in that time grown to respect and admire her.  I could not have been more pleased when She approached me to ask if I would guide her through her final assignment.  It was indeed an honour for which I am very proud.  I do not take the final assignment lightly,  It’s not a quick fix and away you go..   We discussed all of the points set out in her notification and worked on new experiences as well as pushing the boundaries on existing experiences .. and wow.. Saras already has a wealth of experience, so finding new tasks was no mean feat … but we did it and introduced something which really was new and at the same time pushed her limits way past the expected boundary.. To be whipped for uttering a few words .. harsh and disproportionate but she endured this with good grace proving her inner self to be truly submissive. She constantly showed how a true submissive should behave and to me that was extremely satisfying as well as being exceptionally pleasing.

Time constraints and the fact that I prolong these final tests meant that they were spread over several  weeks and despite the frustrations that this causes…. Wanting to be done … I would not advocate that this is ever rushed. I would at this point turn and look at the beautiful Demoiselle   I am sure Taylor will take up that pleasure ..  there is no one that could be more submissive and in the last few weeks you have proved this to me.. You endured all that was thrown at you, accepted whatever task or fate you were given   and always with good Grace .. I know that she will pass into sisterhood and make me even prouder of her than I am now. She represents not only her Master Sahrin, but also myself and I know we will both be unashamed to be associated with her.  I know she will never let either of us down as she follows her true calling."

Saras smiles as she feels the tears filling her eyes, unexpectedly

"So   Xana, Maitre Thomas, it is with much pleasure that I put this girl forward to you with a full recommendation that she be given the rank of sister of O here at Val d’Oise. So that she may continue to please the dominants here and pass some of the wealth of experience that she has to the future up and coming Debutantes and Demoiselles within our family community.  They could have no better example of true submission.. "

Taylor ifts his eyes from the notecard, looks out to the crowd with his arm held out to his right toward the girl of the day, "And then my good friend Hadaway goes on to say, 'Ladies…. Gentlemen  I give you Sister Saras.'" He turns and looks down at the bubbly little blond smilling and sit.

Xanadu smiles to Saras .. " Thank you Maitre Taylor for presenting this wonderful recommendation behalf of Maitre Hadaway. Sister Sadie please add your thoughts on the training of Demoiselle Saras as her mentoring Sister..... smiles warmly to Sadie"

Mentoring Sister - Sadie

Sadie stands carefully not to trip on her skirt, turns to smile at Saras and gives her  a wink. She smiles at Maitre Taylor, "Thank you, Maitre," she replies softly as he takes his seat again.

"I'm very proud to be standing here on behalf of Saras.  She is a strong, talented, spirited submissive - an excellent addition to the ranks of Sister here at VDO. I first met Saras when she hosted for me. She was even more excited than I was that the theme was Disney.  I did not think that possible.  When May the fourth rolled around, I remember her saying she HAD to host for it.  I thought wow - she's just like me!  Then one day her master, Sir Sahrin asked if I would mentor Saras; I very enthusiastically said YES!' and Saras laughs, shaking her head in disbelief that you remember that first hosting

Sadie grins at her, "Of course I do! You were one of my most enthusiastic hosts! I found Saras to be motivated and determined.  She had a plan - a time line even of when she wanted to get her log done.  She was passionate, I was afraid she might choke me when I said it couldn't be done that fast that there were timing issues.  She however took it graciously in her stride and together we moved on through her log. Her sister event was inspired by her passion for art - a beautiful auction that not only gave us great artists' works to grace our walls but also raised money for our wonderful home here. A quote reminded me of Saras - "When adversity strikes, that’s when you have to be the most calm. Take a step back, stay strong, stay grounded and press on.”  by the great philosopher LL Cool J.... Saras has faced more adversity in her path than most submissives.  She remained calm (well kind of :)) she stayed grounded and she pressed on - finishing her event and final with grace and dignity. She stands before you today to take her place - leaving Samois behind and joining the sisters of Roissy.  After today I will not call her mentee anymore but address her with better terms: sister and friend. My Master and Xanadu - I wholeheartedly give my recommendation that she be given the title of Sister."

Sadie turns to face Saras, "Congratulations my dear, I couldn't be prouder." and touches her Master's hand as she returns to her cushion.

 "Thank you Sadie for your encouraging words to Saras and on her inspiring participation here at Roissy.  and Xanadu turns to Maitre Thomas, "Maitre Thomas, you have heard the recommendations of Maitre Hadaway and the warm support given to that recommendation of her mentoring Sister Sadie. I respectfully invite you to confer to Demoiselle Saras the title and the ring of Sisterhood?"

The Conferment -                  Maitre Thomas

Thomas scratches my chin and then nods in silence, smiles to the group and says, "I am so encouraged that our tradition continues here at Roissy Va d'Oise. Since 2012 we have welcomed new sisters into our hearts." and nods to Xanadu to continue.

"Yes Maitre Thomas .. Demoiselle Saras, come forward please and kneel before Maitre Thomas."
[12:22:20]  Saras (sarasvatii) nods gently and rises to take her place.

Thomas looks at the Demoiselle before me, recalling all of their supportive words. I look out towards the gathered community, friends and family feeling very proud to be a part of this wonderful famille of Roissy Val d’ Oise and reach into my pocket searching for the piece of neatly folded; but worn linen stationary, where I normally take notes on different occasions along her journey. Shaking off something, thinking its not a butt plug, and chuckles, looking toward all the Debutantes and Demoiselles, says, "you see Submissives, I do take notes.

“You see here before you .... a submissive woman,  one that has honored her path. She was accepted into the house of Samois as a Debutante August 29, 2016. She then progressed and moved on to the time of her Initiation on November 18, 2016 where she served and was opened by Dominants of Chateau Roissy Val D’ Oise and became known as Demoiselle Saras. Her journey continued as she traveled along wanting to learn and absorb. June 23, 2017, Saras presented an amazing workshop with the title 'Sexual Objectification'. This sparked the interest of many. She continued along next with her well planned Sister Event as she presented an incredible Art Auction where she raised an amazing amount of Lindens for this beautiful Sim on July 7, 2017.  I have one of pieces auctioned in my office.

"Her Final task was a test of her Submission based upon her strengths and weaknesses. The House of Samois received a notice of recommendation from Maitre Hadaway that all was completed and she was worthy of Sisterhood. Now today she kneels before us on Friday September 15, 2017, to receive what she had committed herself to, the giving of her submission, today she will have bestowed upon her the VDO ring and title of Sister." He shifts my crossed leg slightly, as I sit in the large red chair,  saying proudly, "You have heard about her journey and her commitment that has brought her today.  Here is a true inspiration for those who still have to complete their journey. Perseverance and commitment are qualities to be admired." and takes Demoiselle Saras’ hand as he digs deep into his pockets searching for the ring before finding the correct one.

Saras wonders how many rings he carries around with him as she hears the jingle and lifts her hand

With a little relief and a confident smile, wondering why this always, during graduations, he finds it. I inspect it closely seeing the gleaming golden ring sparkle, and then places it onto Demoiselle Saras’s  finger. “Congratulations Saras you will inspire many.”

(Sadie wonders too.) Saras nods and looks down at the ring.  "Thank you, Maitre Thomas" and he sits back, turning to Xanadu, "Please Xanadu, give our newest Sister her rightful tag and let’s welcome her into our Sisterhood here at Roissy Val d'Oise."

Presentation of Title - Xanadu

"Yes Maitre Thomas .."  then smiles to our kneeling Saras and then looks round towards the assembled guests drawing their attention.

"To become a Sister of Roissy Val d’ Oise a submissive has to have many qualities, some are as follows:
Trustworthy, Graceful, Loyal, Humble, Obedient, Enduring, Patient ..... and remain submissive no matter how hard that may be.... You have shown these qualities. Demoiselle Saras.....No more will you carry that title.......Cast it aside and wear this one that I give you at this time...... Wear the mark of Sisterhood with pride as you go out to a new and exciting future in Roissy Val d'Oise. I remind you to always serve with passion and fire .. and always from your heart. Sister Saras.....Congratulations Sister Saras and welcome our honored Roissy Val d'Oise Sisterhood ."

The audience bursts into applause with evryone congratulating the new sister loudly.

"Sister Saras, please stand and take a moment to speak to all your friends assembled here today."

Sister Speech - Saras

Saras nods gently to Xana as she rises and turns to face gathered friends and family. She  beats off the lag monster and clears her throat "First I would like to thank all of you for joining me here today to celebrate this milestone in a never ending journey.  It means the world to me.  And thank you for sharing my path here at Roissy.  It has been a long and arduous one.  But every step has been important. I believe that my time here has made me a better person, as well as, a better submissive.   I have developed a greater level of patience and forgiveness, not only in my interpersonal relationships, but with myself. There were times that those lessons were more challenging than others.  And more than a few times when i seriously considered giving up.  But perseverance was another lesson well learned here."

She focuses her attention to the man in the front row, her gaze softening and eyes welling up a bit, "I owe a great deal of gratitude to the person who is responsible for me being here.  My Master Sahrin.  He is not only the one that brought me to Roissy, but often times the reason I stayed when things became difficult or frustrating. I have a bad habit of running from my problems.  But he never allows it.  He is the driving force behind much of what I do.  He inspires me every day.  Thank you with all of my heart.  I belong to you, Master. Mind, body and soul."

She turns away from him and smiles back at Sadie, "A huge thanks to Sadie being my mentor and friend.  Thank you for seeing me through and being there for me no matter what the circumstance.  Sometimes when I'm sure it wasn't easy to be, either." as Sadie smiles wiping a tear, "Always" and Saras continues, "Also thank you to Maitre Hadaway and Maitre Taylor for their guidance and support.  Xana for all that she does for everyone. The girl needs a raise, seriously.  And, of course, Maitre Rene for his vision of Roissy.   And once again, thank you all.  I look forward to further serving the community." 

She turns back to Xana and nods that she was finished

Smiles to Sadie .. through their guidance and support they enhance the path for the submissives .. and for this i sincerely thank yall .. your assistance is a huge help to me more then is realized.

"I was present at Saras's's "Sexual Objectification Workshop" .. which opened our eyes to another vision of O .. as Saras's stated in her workshop .. the "unveiling," as I like to think of it, when O was brought to the party. Only the mask was covering her face and she otherwise naked and vulnerable beneath the cloak.  All of the party goers staring at her, wanting her. She was little more than a very extravagant party favor." Just an example ...."  Xana smiled to Saras .. "she is a deep thinking Lady and quite detailed in all she does which again was seen as she assisted me with the gallery for a few months.

"Her Sisters's event .. which was the "Art Auction for Roissy " which raised 30k plus for our community as you have previously heard .. with the assistance of our members and Artists . With Maitre Hadaway's very favorable recommendation .. today she was elevated to the status of an Honored .. Roissy Vdo Sister and now will be serving and assisting others our community.

Sahrin clears his throat..."$42K"

"Thank you Sir Sahrin. I would also like remind you .. becoming a Sister is not the end .. but another way to actively serve our community .. as there is another phase for those who are uncollared and still wish to continue to advance a bit further .. that of the " O Aspirante " .. being one who inspires to become a Roissy 'O'." She turns .. "Maitre Thomas .. through you and to Maitre Rene .. Thank you for your generosity and the gift you give us daily .. this wonderful community .. where we are free to learn and discover our inner selves safely."
