2 PM ~ Sophies Sister Graduation ~ VdO Gardens

You are cordially invited to attend the Sister graduation of Sophie at 2 pm today  in the Chateau Gardens.

Please come show your support as she graduates to Sister.

Proprietaire and Maitre of Roissy VdO René

Roissy O  Xanadu Xue    http://www.roissy-vdo.com

Xanadu welcomed the assemble: "Honored Guests; Welcome all to this joyous event .. for today we come together to witness the Graduation of Demoiselle Sophie, who will join the exclusive ranks of the Roissy Val d'Oise Sisterhood. It is with some sadness that we bid farewell to this Demoiselle as she leaves her path here in Samois. to rejoin the wider Roissy community .. Her path does not end here it is ever evolving.

"But, this is a happy occasion that brings us here today .. as I am able to announce that as Samois loses a Demoiselle today .. Roissy Val d'Oise gains a welcomed Sister. As a Sister she will continue to be active with Samois .. as it is our Sisters who will be the Mentors to the young and striving Debutantes and Demoiselles."

"Sisters will always be welcomed at Samois, it is their home and comfort center, if they should ever feel the desire or need. The Samois Sisters will always be available .. if you ever need a shoulder to lean on or just a friendly chat. " turns and asks .. "Maitre Kurt .. Will you please welcome everyone?"

Maitre Kurt™  welcomes the assembly: What a joy it is for us of Roissy VDO to gather and celebrate the accomplishments of an outstanding submissive.  This is of course a special time for Sophie but in a larger sense it is a special time for all of us.  Sophie is celebrating the culmination of months of hard work, of reflection, of overcoming obstacles and doubts and realizing her potential as a submissive to the community.  It is also a time for each of us to reflect on what has brought us here, what keeps us here, what we have accomplished and the things we have yet to accomplish.

Sophie, like most of us, was drawn here by her love of the Story of O and her desire to grow in her submission.  Most of us came here to pursue domination or submission and we have done that. But along the way we have gained everlasting friendships, have learned about living with and loving others and being friends to those who we might never have befriended but for this experience.

He looks up from Sophie and looks to the audience and says, "Some of these friends challenge us.  Some push us and rub us in ways that are hard to take.  But we learn and grow and realize that we are on this journey together for a reason.  I have said before that VdO is like a rock polishing tumbler that tumbles rocks together with sand and water to polish the stones into bright shiny gems.  As we knock against one another, it sometimes is painful, it sometimes is rough, but the process of coming together and working together polishes us."

What makes Roissy VDO a community is that we intersect with others along the paths we walk.  Just as the tumbler requires many rocks to do its work, the path here cannot be walked alone. Submissives of different levels find themselves becoming friends and family. Dominants on all levels become mentors, coaches and friends.   The interaction among each other changes each and every member here in some way.

If all we had were rocks rattling around in the tumbler, we would surely break each other.  But the rock tumbler is filled with sand and water to temper the collisions.  The sand I compare to forgiveness and the water I compare to love. .  Through forgiveness we work through the rough edges between us.  Through the love we share we grow ever closer to each other.

"Thank you Rene, my friend, for generously providing the place we call home." He turns to the audience and continues, "and thank all of you for being here and for all that each of you do to build and polish this community."

"So Sophie, we gather to celebrate with you as you kneel here, another shining gem in the Roissy constellation. You endured, you worked hard, and you stayed the course.  Congratulations on your becoming a Sister, a title you worked hard for and deserve."

Julie speaks for House of Samois:  Thank you Xanadu, it is indeed my pleasure to represent  the House of Samois on this wonderful occasion today as we celebrate  the accomplishments that Demoiselle Sophie has made on her path  to becoming a Sister of Roissy Val d'Oise.

The path to become a Sister at VDO isn’t always easy and we have some rough and some stormy  and some emotional times to go through, but this all is a part of our progress. If we just have easy times here, we would not experience the growth necessary to be a real Sister of VDO.

Remember O’s look when she arrived at Roissy…

And then remember her eyes when she got her ring…Filled with pride, passion, devotion and submission. And this can only be reached by learning and experience. We need the wind blowing strong towards us sometimes to finally spread our wings and show our beauty.

Be a Sister that serves with passion Sophie. Show devotion and love. Love for this place and  love for the people. And give a bit of this feeling to the ones that arrive in future to our place. Give them your hands and guide them on their way here.

In the name of the House of Samois, I thank everyone for supporting Sophie with your presence here as we celebrate Sophie's special day. Thank you for being here today! Congratulations Sophie!

Maitre Hadaway Gives Recommendation: Good evening, good morning, good whatever time of day you have wherever you are.  Wow this has been a long and great Path.  And to end it in front of all our friends and compatriots is a special feeling..   We thank you all for taking time out of your busy schedules to come and celebrate this great occasion with us,  it's fabulous to see you come out on this great occasion in Sophies path exploring her submission

Sophie has worked so hard and I am so proud of her.  It has not only been an honour to be with her,  but it has been a real pleasure to be part of that path.  The final event turned out to be quite an Epic.. the traumas of rl and time differences all paid their part in conspiring to increase the complexity of this task...... But we made it  and with the help of  Mira  the first phase ran smoothly .

The interuption of real life caused problems throughout the summer .. Children home   holidays   there were several delaying factors .. but with perseverance and Sophies never give up attitude we eventually got through it   and she proved herself to be a very worthy submissive .

I know that she will be yet another great asset to the house of Samois and represent them well as one of our sisters here .

When we came to her finals I wondered how far we could go.  We discussed all aspects ..Pushing her limits  and breaking into new grounds that were previously unknown to her.. testing out Sophies  will and her Metal.

She of course took this in her stride and I was amazed at how well she adapted and coped with every situation that was thrown at her .. those that know Sophie will also know that she is a very talented guitarist with her roots firmly set in the blues .  If you missed her sister event or have not heard one of Sophies concerts you should make every effort to catch one ... It's a great experience

So after a year of her dedication we come to this day ..Sophie’s day  - a very special day in her calendar,  one we trust she will remember for a very long time,  It is the culmination of a lot of effort  one which will see her enter the ranks of Sisterhood at Roissy Val d’Oise.

Casting aside her Demoiselle tag.. but I know Sophie well and know that she will not see this as the end , but will see it as a new beginning..  She will I know gladly accept the challenges that will come with her new role.  I know she will wear her sister tag with pride and will be a great asset to this great Family we have here.

Maitre Rene, Maitre Kurt, Julie, Xana,   It is with a great pleasure that I Maitre  Hadaway Broadway  am so proud to fully recommend Sophie Stormwalker  to be enrolled to the rank of  Sister of Roissy Val d'Oise."

Mentoring Sister Blue Gives Recommendations: On behalf of Blue, not able to attend, Sister Amaya presents them: "I am representing Sophie's mentor, Blue, who wished to be here but due to her RL was not able to attend.  She kindly prepared these loving remarks. and it is my honor to present them on her behalf."

I’m on holiday and can’t be here now, so I thank Amaya for delivering my heartfelt speech about my wonderful mentee, Sophie -- a girl that Roissy Sisterhood was as elusive as it is well-deserved. I wish I could have been there in person to enjoy her happiness with her.

You see, Sophie is unique. She’s unlike any girl I’ve ever met, and although you could say that about anyone... with Sophie it’s especially pronounced. Anyone who knows Sophie knows she is boundlessly curious and full of life. She loves to chat, loves music, loves to love, and loves to stand up for her principles. She has a seductive cabaret singing voice and even does live performances on our sim and others. She’s truly brilliant, in my opinion.

I remember at first (exactly one year ago), Sophie filled me with so many hard questions about serving men that i was sure she would soon run screaming out of  VdO. She said to me,"I am a 'hard driving feminist' myself and have no desire to change that" --  and I thought – how will she ever bend over on cue to the Dominants at Roissy Val d’Oise? How will she serve them coffee? How will she kiss their feet?

In fact, once at a binding task, she said to me in IM, "I do have an unfortunate tendency to conquer smaller neighboring countries if unsupervised...."

Little by little, though, Sophie worked her way through the joys of submissive life and got to appreciate the people, the rules, and the Story of O.  She finally became a Demoiselle, and at that point I thought, wow, nothing could hold her back.

But then it got a little crazy. For some reason, and I honestly don’t know all the details, Sophie ran into some emotional snags and sent a notice that she would take a leave of absence. She would finish off her RL obligations at the time and, I thought, maybe vanish into the mist of “former members.” She was distraught and maybe had some bad  experiences. Like, hey, that’s part of being alive, but for Sophie it was more than that.

But as I said, this girl is unique. Whatever demons haunted her that crazy Spring dissolved by that Fall, and I was so happy to see her back on sim, dancing at the dances, talking at the landing, kneeling for the Dom/mes, and attending the various initiations and other ceremonies.

Through sheer force of will, Sophie rebuilt her ambition and created her event, her workshop, and at last, her Final Scene – overcoming days of emotional stress about who, how, and what. .. into a successful log that I was proud to initial and forward to the Admins.

A quote in Sophie's Sister Event states, "if you have done the paths here and have not changed and grown then you have not done them correctly."

I hope Amaya, and all of you actually, will hug her and kiss her for me for doing her path correctly. She’s a fantastic girl with a gregarious and easy-going personality that I am proud to call my mentee.  But mainly, she is the kind of girl that Roissy can be proud to call “Sister.”

The Confirment of Title

Xanadu turning towards to Maitre Rene .. "Maitre Rene .. You have heard the recommendations of Maître Hadaway and the warm support given to that recommendation by her Mentoring Sister Blue. May I invite you now, to confer on Demoiselle Sophie the title a.nd the ring of Sisterhood?"

Maitre René  drums his fingers on the arm rest of his chair. He   looks at the Demoiselle, kneeling on the cushion and considers the recommendations he has heard. He smiles and speaks

"The recommendations given on Demoiselle Sophie's  behalf are accepted." He looks at Xanadu. "Please continue the proceedings."

"yes Maitre .. Demoiselle Sophie, come forward please and kneel before Maître Rene."

Sophie rises, steadies herself and slowly takes the few steps and kneels in front of Maitre Rene. holding her breath and then remembering to breathe....

Maitre René smiles at Demoiselle Sophie kneeling before him, He  glances out at the gathering.

"It is good to see you all here in support of this Sister Graduation;  it has been a while since we have had one. Thank you for coming."

His hand slides into a jacket pocket and pulls out his worn, leather journal,  flipping it open and finding the page with SOPHIE written at the top. Glancing down at the page, he reads a moment.

"Sophie  began her submissive path with House of Samois in 2015. Her journey swiftly took her to Initiation on February 27, 2016,  when she was opened by our Dominants of Chateau Roissy Val d'Oise,  earning her the title of  Demoiselle.

"Demoiselle Sophie swiftly moved forward in her training, eager to  learn, make mistakes, absorb and grow. She gave her  Sister Workshop on June 2nd,  entitled - Effects of the Submissive Path, the transformational journey of a submissive's psyche.

"On June 12, she gave her Sister Event: Keys to the Highway , an acoustic guitar performance and singing performance given by herself." He smiles and  looks down at the journal one more time before snapping it shut and returning it to his jacket pocket.

"Hadaway  conducted Sophie's  Sister Final with her, giving his recommendation for acceptance as we all heard.  Demoiselle Sophie  was up for the challenge of this Final Task."

He slides his hand under her chin, tilting her head back to look in her eyes,  a test of her strengths and weaknesses. A task that is not easy, but challenges each submissive,  pushing her into the core of her surrender."

Maitre René smiles warmly. " Demoiselle Sophie, I am happy to say that you have proved the depth of your submission. You have shown commitment on your path.  You have honored me and all Dominants of our community by demonstrating loyalty, devotion to our sim, our rules, our tradition.

"On this day of  the 13th of December 2016,  you now kneel before me, seeking acceptance and the right to wear the title of Roissy Val d'Oise Sister." Maitre  René studies her face and  smiles at her.

Sophie takes a deep breth and lets it out slowly...

"I accept you as such  and so it will be a pleasure to bestow upon you the Val d'Oise Ring and Title of Sister." Looking up to the audience, his fingers slip into the small vest pocket in search of the correct ring.

"You have heard about Demoiselle Sophie's journey that brings her here today, a day long awaited and hoped for. Her commitment that has brought her here is a true inspiration for those who still have to complete their journey."

Pausing as he finds the ring, he smiles and pulls it from his pocket,  he holds it before her eyes so she can see it. The afternoon sunlight illuminates the gold ring, Sophie bites her lip, looking.....

Leaning forward, he reaches for her hand and slides the ring into place on her finger and holds her hand in both of his and smiles at her.

"Sophie, be as sparkling as the sunlight reflecting off this ring,  be a golden light of inspiration for other submissives who come to our community in search of the same journey you've just completed.  May you continue to grow and learn and, in doing so, nurture others along your way."

Letting go her hand, Maitre Rene turns and looks at Xanadu. "Xanadu it is now time to give our newest Sister her earned Title and welcome her into the Sisterhood of Roissy Val d'Oise."

Smiling at Xanadu, he takes his seat, settling back as Xanadu stands and announces: "Wear the emblem of Sisterhood with pride as you move forward to a new and exciting future in Roissy Val d'Oise ... Always remember .. serve with passion and fire."

Sophie's Sister Speech: Maitre Rene, Dear Maitresses and Maitres, Mistresses and Masters, Dommes and Dominants, my beloved Sisters, our honored guests!  First I must thank Maitre Rene for his vision and his generosity and for giving us an environment in which we can realize our dreams and ambitions, learn and grow. My heartfelt thanks to you all for joining us to celebrate this day. Today marks a very large milestone on a long and continuing journey. It has been one year and one week since I walked into Samois for the first time to have my interview, and got accepted as a debutante.

Since this first day, Roissy Val d' Oise has been my home, and all of you have carried me through my path to sisterhood. I believe we all say it takes a village to raise a sister, and it sounds cliche. And yet it's nothing but the truth. Without all of you I would not be here.  I will freely admit I'm not the easiest submissive in the world, and the path has challenged me to my very limits and sometimes beyond them. I think I gave up a hundred times, swallowed my pride, dealt with the failure and thought I had moved on, only to find a few days later that I had forgotten to leave and was in fact still here, working on my path.

I know I'm stubborn and I know I'm perfectly capable of following impossible dreams, to the point where I make the most implausible things happen. But why did I follow this particular dream?

I believe some of you know the story., and I swear it is true. I grew up in a small town in Germany, and the local cinema was next to the back entrance to my school. The Story of O came to cinemas in Germany when I was 11 or 12, and I saw the posters when I left school, daily for as long as the movie ran.

The images form the Story of O at my local cinema made an instant and deep impression on me In fact these images have followed me my entire life. I've wanted to be in the Story of O all this time. I wasn't quite so sure whose role I wanted though. Did I want to be O, or maybe Anne Marie de Samois?

During my brief and intermittent explorations of RL BDSM it became clear that I'm a switch. It is much easier and natural for me to be dominant. But for all that dominance comes easily to me, it leaves me unfulfilled.

Submission is ever so much harder for me because I fight with myself. Did I mention I'm stubborn? Letting go of the resistance never came easy to me, and yet it is the very thing I need to find my peace.

Much of the submissive path has been easy. I have a vivid imagination, and when I came here I knew how to role play, I knew the correct protocols for most situations. But all of this is superficial.

When I truly experience my submission, it touches on boundaries that go much deeper than the roleplay limits I can list on my profile. I don't scare easily, but some of the things I learned about myself on the submissive path have really shaken me.

Shaken or not, at my initiation I made the same vow as all demoiselles do: To serve with passion and with fire all of the Dominants of Roissy Val d'Oise, within my limits, to follow the directions of the House of the Samois and to ensure the comfort of all those who would require my service.

Honoring this promise has meant everything to me, even with all the conflict it brought. And I certainly wasn't perfect. In honoring this promise, I found that I crossed boundaries I never thought I could cross, did things I never thought I was capable of, and I reached this day even when I never thought that was possible.

Overcoming the challenges of the submissive path has taught me many things about myself outside of D/s. I gained a much deeper understanding of my value as a person, of my limits and boundaries, and an understanding where I can yield safely, where I need time, and where I have to stand firm.

Above all, I learned that even in something as arcane and emotionally charged as BDSM, many small steps taken one at a time will in the end amount to very long journey. This knowledge is serving me well, not only in the charming village of Roissy Val d' Oise, but in the greater world, in RL.

At this point, I could easily say I've learned all there was to learn and maybe leave it at that. I certainly was tempted. Not long ago, I wrote a notecard to a close confidante (she knows who she is), detailing the reasons of why I should be a Sister, and the reasons I could think of for not being one. It came down to one question:

Do I see being a Sister as my calling? By calling I mean something that I was meant to do, that has value beyond my gratification, that is worthy and greater than me. It took me about a year to even formulate this decisive question. The answer did not come immediately or easily. But today, as I stand before you, I have it:

Yes! From the bottom of my heart I believe I am called to be a Sister. I have a long way yet to go on my journey. I have other, more challenging boundaries to cross and grow in ways I don't even imagine today. And I will do it here, where I've always been at home. And I will do it with you, with the people who have become so precious to me.

I thank you all for your love and support.

Xanadu Speaks: Congratulations again Sophie on your advancement .. becoming an Honored Rossy ValD'Oise Sister. A Sister is to always be a positive example to every Dominant and submissive ... including the visitors in our community.

Upon meeting Sophie .. in her i saw a very strong willed woman .. blushes softly and truly thought she was a Domme ...Switch .. was something i wasnt familiar with.

Soon came her pre initiation meeting .. showing her nervousness once again .. made me see another side of her .. Sophie moved forward becoming a lovely Demoiselle .. committed to her path advancing to the place she is today. During the time Sophie was working on her workshop .. she and i spoke on various things .. i was impressed in her responses .. how she and her submission became more clearer to her and the insights she was experiencing.

It is always a pleasure to see one of our submissive sisters travel their path with dedication and perseverance .. with a determination to reach the Honored advancement to Sister.  Becoming a Sister is not the end .. but another way to actively serve our community .. and yes .. there is another phase for those who are uncollared .. that of the " O Aspirante " .. being one who inspires to become a " Roissy O"."

First an primarily to our Dominates .. a sincere thank you to yall for being here to encourage and help us .. as we learn .... and for also for your patience,  To our submissives .. i personally thank each of you for your continued support .. please remember .. we never .. have to pursue anything here by ourselves ... for we are a team. Each of yall are very important to Roissy ValD'Oise .. very much needed and also special to me .

Maitre Rene .. Thank you for your generosity and the gift you give us daily .. this wonderful community .. where we are free to learn and discover our inner selves safely.

Please continue to show your active commitment and dedication to our community .. your presence is the key to being supportive of the home Maitre Rene has provided for us .... wear proudly your tag and assist as you can.

In closing please remember to hold high the principals of Roissy ValD'Oise .. that Maitre Rene has provided .. We have the Best of the Best here .. and by the positive support we offer each other .. only insures our strength... proving once again " We are Familee" .

If there is anything you wish to share or offer the sim please ... let Maitre Rene know by dropping a note card in his RED mail box out side his office. Please remember also our website so you can stay up to date on all the happenings of VdO http://www.roissy-vdo.com/

Maitre Rene, This concludes the ceremony ..., and the House of Samois is proud to see another of its Demoiselles take her place in the wider community. May I now invite you to close the proceedings witnessed here today?

Maitre René 's Closing Speech:  He stands and takes a glass of champagne, then turns and smiles at Sophie.

Maitre René continues: May your path at Roissy Val d'Oise always be remembered as something precious and dear to you. Sister Sophie, is a time for you to reflect and celebrate on your past, present and future. Now it’s time for you to move on to what’s next.  But you must not let anything deter you from taking those first steps

Don’t spend so much time trying to choose the perfect opportunity, that you miss the right opportunity. Recognize that there will be failures, and acknowledge that there will be obstacles.  But trust that you will learn from your mistakes and the mistakes of others, for there is very little learning in success,  for learning comes through doing." He he smiles at her.

"Consider our home, Roissy Val d'Oise, to be like a school.  And our life, the classrooms, and sometimes on this home   the lessons often come dressed up as detours, or roadblocks, and sometimes, as full blown crises. And the secret I’ve learned to getting ahead, is being open to the lessons – lessons from the grandest universe of all, that is. "

Why am I focused on learning? Because we never stop... and that is my message to you Sister Sophia, don't stop.  Continue to explore, experience, and grow in your submission." Matire René goes to the center of the stage and smiles at everyone.

"I don't know if I should laugh or I should cry when I see people posting death notices to try to hurt me or our wonderful home. Feel if it is panic action from someone.

" I am well. I am alive!  So its no gravestone with the text "BRB"!"

Rene looks at Hadaway..."I  want to thank you my friend for standing up and defending lies and rumors this past week." The t wo look at one another.

Maitre Hadaway replies, "I only see and tell as I know."

Rene smiles and looks  at them all. "Please, I ask each one of you to evaluate what is in your heart? What is it that you value most about your life here?  If this is your home, I ask you to take care of it as you do your own home. Protect it, make it secure, keep it clean, be a hospital guest to visitors and treat every visitor as if he or she is a potential new member of our Famille.

"Keep your arms open to receiving  them and doing your part to make them feel comfortable, welcomed, wanted, and valued. I have said before, we are only as strong as our weakest link...so it is all our duties to always ensure our weakest link is strong.

"Always remember The Four Pillars of Roissy Val d'Oise...in this case the last one >Use common sense!

"Thank you for sharing  your time and showing support today as Sophia became a Sister of Roissy Val d’ Oise. I thank the Admin and the family that things are going well. May you feel the spirit of Christmas; it is, after all,  the most important thing to focus on this time of year!  I wish all of you a wonderful holiday season.

"Thanks again." Maitre René smiles. Maitre Kurt™ claps loudly.

Maitre René says: "Have a nice afternoon." ...and thus the graduation ended.
