Tessa Sister Graduation

Tessa nods her head to Blue, then reaches around to unsnap the top of her dress, allowing it to fall to the ground. From the stage, Gillian could be heard.
"Sister Blue please bring forward Demoiselle Tessa and place her on the cushion to the left of the stage."
Thus, the Sister Graduation began. The girls settled on their cushions as Gillian rose and made the standard opening address... "Maitre Rene, Honored guests, welcome all to this joyous event, for today we come together to witness the Graduation of Demoiselle Tessa, who will join the exclusive ranks of the Roissy Val d'Oise Sisterhood...." before inviting Maitre Taylor to speak.
He stood and stepped forward. "I would be honored. Firstly, welcome one and A/all. Maitres, Masters, Dominants, Sisters, Demoiselles, Debutants and Famille members too. If I may, I would like to briefly acknowledge how important our famille members are to our sim, thank you A/all. Also I would like to offer a big Roissy Val d'Oise welcome to those of you who have come for the sole reason of supporting Tessa and enjoying the ceremony. Its always nice to see us gathered together in support of any of our community patrons or for community events. Today is not only the confirmation of the accomplishments of one of our submissives, but also a celebration of sorts." He looks back at Tessa.
"Well, assuming she is recommended." He smiles. "I must say I find great pleasure in seeing these debuatantes come to us, stay with the program, bloom and grow. But they not only grow, they contribute to us all as individuals and the greater community. The path of a submissive is not easy, there are many hurdles, but, if it were easy, anyone could do it and many would do it. But because we expect a little more from our submissives, we see them falter often, some return admirably and some, well, not so much." He shrugs. " Our submmisives are not just 'anyone', they are special, they are, as we like to say, 'a cut above.' Today, we celebrate one of our finest reaching one of her goals, that is to become a Sister. So with that, lets sit back and let this girl have her day. Again, thank you A/all for being here."
As he took his seat, Gillian invited Xanadu to speak. The O Aspirant rose and greeted those on stage respectfully before turning to the audience. "It is indeed my pleasure to represent the House of Samois as i welcome everyone. Today we celebrate the accomplishments of Demoiselle Tessa has made on her path to becoming a Roissy Val D'Oise Honored Sister. I say honored .. as each submissive must work to obtain this as level in her path .. as it is not given freely. I met Tessa very shortly after starting on my own path .. although we didnt know each other very well until recently .. i have found a friend in her .. a person whom you can depend upon. I also found that she has a great love for music. Perhaps the most surprising thing i learned about her was she was here long before me .. quiet shy and reserved .. one who was seen and not often heard .. but today her commitment to her path and our community shouts loudly. Many of us on the Dominant and submissive paths do experience times where we slow and question why we are here .. but in the end we open our minds .. learn and then move forward finally to obtain the acknowledgment.. of a path well traveled. We thank every one for supporting Roissy Val D'Oise with your presence .. as we celebrate these memories shared on Tessa's Special Day. Following this Ceremony we invite you to join us as Khiron Ametza provides our entertainment in the Ballroom at 4.30pm."
Xanadu took her cushion and Gillian, turning to Maitre Hadaway, invited him to speak on Tessa's behalf. He rose to his feet and surveyed the audience in front of him.
"Thank you Gillian. Wow this has been a long and great Path. And to end it in front of all our friends and compatriots is a special feeling.. We thank you all for taking time out of your busy schedules to come and celebrate this great occasion with us.
Hadaway turns to look at the beautiful Demoiselle. "Tessa has worked so hard and I am so proud of her. It has not only been an honour to be with her, but it has been a real pleasure to be part of that path. We met a year ago up near the landing point before the café was built , there were only a few tables there in those days and it was a surprisingly quiet period. I called the pretty Blonde deb to come over and kneel by me. I had volunteered to assist in a forthcoming initiation and here I was talking to a shy Debutante who was nervous about her imminent initiation. I smiled inwardly realising what I had let myself in for volunteering to carry out that duty. We talked long and I like to think I helped her to lay her fears for the initiation to rest without actually divulging my own part in the scheme of things . On the actual night I was chosen as her Protector to care and cherish her throughout the ceremony and as it turned out long into the night after. Since that meeting we have been together a lot and I have guided her throughout her path from Debutante to where we now find ourselves. I have watched her grow in strength of character, tackle her tasks with a passion and devoted her submission and loyalty to the sim. She is not only , I am sure you will all agree, a very pretty girl, but she is also very intelligent and creative. If any of you have had the pleasure of seeing her performing one of her slave dance routines for you, then you will know exactly what I mean. When we came to her finals I wondered how far we could go. We discussed all aspects ..Pushing her limits and breaking into new grounds that were previously unknown to her.. I thank Blue for her assistance in testing out Tessa's will and her Metal. Tessa of course took this in her stride and I was amazed at how well she adapted and coped with every situation that was thrown at her .. It can’t be very nice being locked in a cold dark cage overnight to reflect on your submission having just been heavily whipped .. Tessa accepted her fate and made me proud to be her Maitre carrying out the final Tasks. She most certainly proved herself as a true submissive. So after a year of her dedication we come to this day ..Tessa’s day - a very special day in her calendar, one we trust she will remember for a very long time, It is the culmination of a lot of effort one which will see her enter the ranks of Sisterhood at Roissy Val d’Oise. As Taylor said ....... A cut above the rest. Casting aside her Demoiselle tag.. but I know Tessa well and know that she will not see this as the end , but will see it as a new beginning.. She will I know gladly accept the challenges that will come to her in her new role. I know she will wear her sister tag with pride and will be a great asset to this great Family we have here."
Hadaway turns to Rene , Gillian, Xanadu and Taylor. "It is with a great joy in my heart that I Maitre Hadaway Broadway am so proud to fully recommend TessaTiara to be enrolled to the rank of Sister of Roissy Val d'Oise." He turns back to Tessa. "Congratulations Tessa you can rightly be proud of your achievement that brings you here today...... my love and best wishes go with you for your future."
Gillian thanks Maitre Hadaway for his "recommendation" and turns to Blue, inviting her to give hers.
Blue Ronsein rises, smiles at Maitre René, and looks out over the crowd, looks at Tessa, and smiles, "It's so nice to see my wonderful family here, to cheer and support our lovely Tessa tonight. We talk a lot about high-maintenance people, and about drama in Second Life. But what about the delight of a low-maintenance person? That’s my dear, wonderful Tessa. I inherited being Tessa's mentor from Nara when she left, when Tessa was already a Demoiselle. And while I had a warm and mutually comfortable relationship with her, she always seemed independent and self sufficient. In her own quiet, but nice way, Tessa worked her way to Sister mostly by herself, and all I did was add a few smiles and hugs along the way. Mentorship for me was made even easier through Tessa’s relationship with Maitre Hadaway, whose caring and wise masculine hands guided her along. He kept me posted along her journey, helping me become her Mentor and involving me her journey. I am grateful to Him for helping me get to know Tessa, for she is indeed a beautiful person. How beautiful? Besides her inner beauty, which she hides sometimes with a quiet demeanor, Tessa’s unusual and artistic talent as a live sculture contributes lovely and glamorous charm to our Roissy art gallery openings. There's as we all know, you can see her in still poses, astride pedestals and sculpture blocks – making our already imposing culture as a top-rated sim in Second Life even more credible. I am sure that as a Sister, Tessa Tiara will continue her quiet, determined, and steady rise – and continue to contribute as a good example for all of what a Sister in Roissy Val d’Oise should be. I am very proud of her, I recommend her highly, and I know she will serve all of us well as she graduates today. Thank you."
Gillian next invited Tessa's friend, Nara, to speak.
Smiling warmly, Nara spoke directly to Tessa. "You made it. That long path that took so many twists and turns but finally you are here, rightfully so, receiving your sister's ring. I am so proud of you. I know everything you endured to get this far, how many times we spoke, hugged, cried, brushed away those frustrations that kept hitting you. But that is the past. Today is your day, tomorrow the future. You worked so hard on everything you did yet, at times, doubting your own ability. But I saw it there, I knew you had what it takes. You may be a woman that is quiet that silently watches others from afar but that is natural in a true submissive female. I am going to tell you, others that are here, what a Dominant in real once told me as I was worried that to some I was classed a 'loner', "A woman who finds that submissive side within is so often one that prefers the company of one or two people, is not gregarious, not one who wishes to steal the limelight from others, or one that must have the dreaded 'last word'. She is soft, feminine, listens, has a nurturing side to her. She knows who and what she is. Has almost a calming effect upon those she encounters." That actually describes also you my sweet friend. I felt that bond with you the first time we met. Remember? So long ago. I had just received my ring, part of me so eagerly wanting to impart my experiences of submission, that I had gained in real life, to another that I could 'feel'. I saw you sitting alone and like a bee to to a flower I were drawn. That started our journey together. Be proud of all you have achieved. The well researched workshop you presented, the under water event that so many attended and enjoyed. You will be an inspiration to others, mentor them with the knowledge you have gained. Dearest Tessa you are a beautiful woman inside and out. When you feel like spreading your wings do so and follow your heart. My friend envelope others with your kindness and warmth.. I know you will with a smile upon your lips bringing the same joy to those you encounter. Love you my friend. Congratulations not only from me, but from my Master who was unable to attend, in receiving the coveted sister ring upon your graduation."
After the sweet exchange of private words between the two friends, Gillian turned finally to Maitre Rene. "Maitre Rene, You have heard the recommendations of Maitre Hadaway and the warm support given to that recommendation of Blue. May I invite you now, to confer on Demoiselle Tessa the title and the ring of Sisterhood?"
Rene smiles out at the assembly. Then he glances at Gillian, smiling. He tilts his head to the side, his fingers lightly drumming the arm rests of his chair while looking at Tessa kneeling upon the cushion to his right. After a short pause, Rene nods reflectively on the recommendations he has heard.
"Today, November 6th marks another special day in our community for we are able to welcome a new Sister in to the Roissy Val d'Oise Sisterhood."
Rene looks at Gillian and smiles. " I am very happy with the recommendations I’ve heard on Demoiselle Tessa’s behalf. Please continue with the proceedings."
Dutifully, Gillian instructed Tessa to kneel before Maitre Rene, and after she had done so, he looked at Demoiselle Tessa kneeling before him, he looks over her head out to the gathering of community as his fingers slip inside the pocket of his jacket for his worn, leather journal. As he pulls it free he stands and flips to a marked page. Glancing back up, he smiles. He looks down at the demoiselle and smiles, gently caressing her soft blonde hair.
"Sometimes when we must face challenges, we must make choices to prove our loyalty. The rewards can lift us to a new level of self-confidence. You have grown Demoiselle Tessa on your journey, and willingly shown your loyalty to our Famille and community. You have grown Demoiselle Tessa on your journey. This makes your graduation all the more special. Don't you agree?"
He smiles at her as she replies, "Yes Maitre Rene ."
He looks up at the audience.
"Dear Friends and visitors, Seeing you coming together on a Friday at this time of day makes me feel very happy. We are, indeed, a Famille." He pauses reflectively, looking back down at his journal, he reads the notes that he has made throughout Tessa’s journey.
"Today we gather to celebrate the achievement of Demoiselle Tessa. She has worked hard to overcome some challenges to arrive at Graduation. Let's look at her journey: 30th August 2014, she was initiated and opened by the Dominants on the 6th December 2014, and became Demoiselle Tessa. On 11th July 2015, Demoiselle Tessa presented her Sister Workshop entitled: Punishment Vs Discipline, which was a very well planned workshop showing the depth of her knowledge within our life-style. On the 26th of July she presented a very fun Sister Event, "Back to the 50’s" in a wonderful under water environment."
He pauses, frowns………. " Sadly I wasn’t able to attend, so I missed out seeing all the lovely girls in bikinis! Well well." He shakes his head, such a pity. Demoiselle Tessa’s final task was given to her based on her strengths and weaknesses. After receiving a notice of recommendation from Maitre Hadaway that all was completed and she was worthy of Sisterhood. Now today she kneels before me to receive what she has worked diligently for through the giving of her submission and her servitude to the Dominates of Chateau Roissy Val d’ Oise. Today Tessa is awarded the Roissy Val d'Oise ring and title of Sister."
Rene looks down upon her and smiles. "Sister Tessa you proved the depth of your submission." He looks up to the audience. "Sister Tessa’s journey that brings her here today is a true inspiration for those who still have to complete their journey."
"Rene reaches inside his vest pocket and pulls out a ring and holds it before her eyes. The gold band shines in the sunlight and smiles as he sees it’s reflection glistening in her pretty eyes. He smiles and looks into her eyes, reaching for her hand and sliding the shiny gold ring into place on her finger. He smiles as he holds her hand between both of his, looking into her eyes he says softly, " Sister Tessa, the “living art treasure of Roissy Val d’Oise,” as you have also become known here."
He smiles as his mind flashes briefly to the Art Gallery. "My wish is that you will continue to grow and learn and nurture others along your way and be a reminder to our girls of the quietness a submissive can find in her heart when she stands in reflection of her inner beauty for the enjoyment of our Dominants."
He looks around. " A new season is upon us, one that can be cold and force us to wrap up and stay inside. But here, we can stay wrapped in the warmth and enduring support of a caring community, One that stands up for its Famille, One that celebrates each other’s achievements. Sister Tessa, just as you have been supported by other caring Sisters, may you help nurture other Demoiselles to their time of achievement." René smiles happy again and returns to his chair as the audience explodes with congratulations.
Sitting back, Rene feels so very proud. He turns to Gillian and says, " Please give our newest Sister her rightful tag and let’s welcome her into our Roissy Val d'Oise Sisterhood."
As is custom, Gillian spoke and directed Tessa to remove her demoiselle tag and wear the new Sister title. And after speaking, she invited Tessa to rise and address the assembly.
Looking out to the faces of her friends and family, she spoke. "i am honored that You came here to witness my graduation to sisterhood. I started this journey the last day of August 2014. Fourteen months it has taken me to get here today. You can say i took my time. As i look around i am sure some of you are saying "well it's about time she graduated" You are very right it is, but the time was not right before, as i took my trip down this path at my own speed. There have been bumps along the way, it has not all been smooth, but i learned so much, and met so many wonderful people. So today is my big day and i become a sister of Roissy Val d'Oise. A title i will wear with pride, one i have worked hard for and is important to me. There are so many people who have helped me along the way. Everyone I have met here assisted me in some way, big or small. I owe thanks to each and every one. Two very important people to me are Maitre Hadaway and my original mentor sister Nara. Nara and her Master, Maitre Thomas have been my rock. The people i could turn to everyday. Nara continues to be my mentor even after Blue stepped in to help. A big smile spreads across my face when i say thank You to Maitre Hadaway. He has been at my side everyday since my initiation to demoisel. I am not sure what i would have done without His love and guidance. So to Maitre Hadaway, Nara, Maitre Thomas, and Blue i say a very big THANK YOU. You are special to me. To Maitre Rene and all the administration here at VDO, i Thank you also for being here and all the hard work you do for us, all of us. Maitre Rene, we would not be here without You. What can i say to You for giving us all a chance to be part of Your dream but thank You and yet words seem so small. Now we celebrate!"
As was traditional, Maitre Rene was invited to have the final word in closing.
René stands and taking a champagne flute, looks around for the booze. Lifts it to the newest Sister. " Sister Tessa this is a wonderful day for you. This is your day! Come everyone and raise your glass with me in congratulating and welcoming Sister Tess into Our Roissy Val d'Oise Sisterhood. To you Sister Tessa, Congratulations! Cheers!"
Last time he did do cartwheels cross the floor, this time he moves to the center of the platform, still looking at Sister Tessa. "Sister Tessa, Giacomo Puccini once said that the music of his opera, Madame Butterfly, was dictated to him by a higher power, that he was merely instrumental in putting it on paper and communicating it to the public. Perhaps, creativity is harnessing universality and making it flow through our eyes. Why should we all use our creative power to build rather than destroy? Because there is nothing that makes people so generous, joyful, lively, bold and compassionate, so indifferent to fighting and the accumulation of objects and money. Every time you stand within our community as living art… every time you represent the Treasure of Roissy Val d’Oise you reflect this nature. The purpose of art is not a rarified, intellectual distillate—it is life, intensified, brilliant life… for the larger part of this year, our community has been shown this truth within the walls of the building you often now stand before. We were all treated to great expressions of life, perhaps without realizing the very meaning of such an inspiration instrument within our community."
He pauses a moment, thinking. " Inspiration may be a form of super-consciousness, or perhaps sub-consciousness. I wouldn’t know. But I am sure it is the antithesis of self-consciousness." He looks at the community. " It always comes back to the same necessity: ‘go deep enough and there is a bedrock of truth, however hard’. The true mystery of the world is the visible, not the invisible. I cannot believe that the instrumental universe turns on an axis of suffering… Surely the strange beauty of the world must somewhere rest on pure joy! Gifts of inspiration were always given so freely, so willingly and with great love…"
He again pauses in deep contemplation, his inner thoughts churning with unspoken words, and then, as if a soft memory crossed his mind, a look of tenderness crossed his countenance. He looked up, his eyes searching the audience. " Do we dare lose that gift from our world?" Turning back to Sister Tessa, he smiles. " Sister Tessa, go confidently in the direction of your dreams here in our community, Live the life you’ve imagined. Each time you simplify your life here as living art, the laws of the universe will be simpler, and you channel to us all the ability to find something priceless and genuine inside our hearts and minds…for what lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters, compared to what lies within us." He turns a last time to the audience, a serious expression on his face. "I know I say it often but please know that each one of you is a precious part of the whole. Without each one of you, Roissy Val d'Oise would be incomplete. I know I have also encouraged each of you so many countless times to put your concerns, ideas, or questions on a notecard and place it in the red mailbox outside my office. Please please please, do this – notecard me. I rarely receive IM messages. I am the owner of this sim and get so many messages at they are always capped. So again... Notecard me, please.
"In closing, I wish to thank those of you working hard on behalf of our community. Your efforts do not go un-noticed. It is still my hope to continue to grow as a community as we seek to move forward as a global famille, with events for all time zones, 24 / 7. And with that... he left the stage and the graduation ended.
