Trot Mistwalker Sister Graduation

Trot Mistwalker Sister Graduation

November 28, 2015

On a lovely autumn morning, the community gathered in celebration of Courtisane Sister Graduation for Trot.  The ceremony was a lovely event, attended by family and friends. The following are the lovely words spoken on behalf of Trot.

The Opening Speech by Maitre J.C.

Thank you all for coming.  As the community gathers, it is without a doubt that it is a special time for both trot  and the community. It is a time of celebration because of the tremendous accomplishment in which the Sister graduation stands for.  Trot, we gather to celebrate with you as you have connected with us. You endured, you worked hard. The road to sisterhood is not meant to be easy, as we demand perfection here at Roissy VDO.  We  welcome a submissive that started her journey,. she became a Debutante, and to make it even more difficult, her Master began his journey as an Intern , she then became a Courtisane Demoiselle, and now will graduation as a Courtisane Sister.  This is a unique  opportunity today….You might be asking what opportunity, or maybe you already know.  This is the  first time, that I am aware of, we welcome a submissive that started her journey with her Master, who had also started his own at the same time.

When Dominants become Masters we speak of the fact that not all that begin the path finish what they started, and the same is true for those that are submissives. It takes determination and encouragement to finish any task or journey in life.  From the time one is a child, until they are more mature, we learn the simple lesson that we don’t get things for nothing or that is the case the majority of the time. The same is true here within our community. We don’t just distribute tags and wave one off into the community.

Trot,  we welcome you as you start a new journey with your Master continuing to serve him and the community the way he allows with the responsibilities you now take on. Again we congratulate you on this accomplishment and for your hard work that brings you to this point today.

As always, thank you Rene for a beautiful sim that allows all of us to call a community. It is a lot to give a sim to people and trust them to come and live in the Story or backstory that makes up the theme of this great place. So thank you again!

Samois Welcoming Speech by Sister Xanadu, O Aspirant:

Maitre Rene, Distinguished Members on the stage  and those present in the audience, it is indeed my pleasure to represent the House of Samois as i welcome everyone.  Today we celebrate the accomplishments Courtisane Demoiselle Trot has made on her path to becoming a Roissy Val D'Oise Honored Sister. i say honored , as each submissive must work to obtain this level in her path  as it is not given freely.

I met Trot in July and saw in her an eagerness to be a part of our community. Although collared to Master Rain she has continued to present herself to be in service to all in our community. I am also aware of several times she has offered to assist in various other ways including helping Di with her very successful Sister Event.  Many of us on the Dominant and submissive paths do experience times where we slow and question why we are here  but in the end we open our minds, learn and then move forward finally to obtain the acknowledgment of a path well traveled.

We thank every one for supporting Roissy Val D'Oise with your presence as we celebrate these memories shared on Courtisane Demoiselle Trot's Special Day.

Master Rain:

"I will be very brief. Today is Trot's day, a day of celebration in her accomplishment.  I am extremely grateful to all who have aided her along her challenging path to Sisterhood. Each of you touched her and helped her to grow.   Trot is a pure submissive, passionate, giving and very talented. Her "love" is to help others, and she burns with the desire to Mentor and assist other submissives in their own journey along the path that Roissy offers. Trot is a Courtisane Sister, trained and eager to serve. I urge my brother dominants to make use of her and to enjoy her fully.  I am so very proud of you girl. You have worked hard and today you are rewarded for your courage, devotion and service to me and to our family. Well done my precious.

Maitre Marcus, who gave the Sister Final:

(Unfortunately Maitre Marcus could not be there; thus, his recommendations were read by Maitre J.C.)

It is with pride and confidence that I highly recommend Trot Mistwalker to join the Roissy Val d'Oise select band of sisters.   My decision was based on evaluating trot's behavior over her time here at Roissy, her contributions to our community and family, her regular presence at all of our events, her selfless efforts in helping other submissives with their tasks such as Di Anne's auction, and her success in performing her final test.  I was honored to be asked to guide and evaluate Trot in her final task.  A very challenging set of trials was put forth by the administration team, and Trot passed them all with flying colors.  She had to serve under a very strict set of rules, and Trot was extremely attentive to them, serving with submission and passion as she put the needs of her Dominants ahead of her own as we expect of all aspiring sisters.  A special thanks to Dusty for helping me test her and push her limits.  Trot was a bit fearful and nervous for the tasks put in front of her as is expected, but she overcame her fears and pushed passed the barriers, determined to prove her worthiness which she did in an exemplary manner.  As you may know Trot belongs to Rain for several years now, but they both serve our community unrestricted, sharing each other with our family with joy.  They both serve with fervor and passion, and we are lucky to have them as part of our community.  Trot is committed to our home here at Roissy Val d'Oise and I believe that as a member of the elite band of Sisters will continue to strive to serve and support us all to the best of her ability.

Sister Julie, Mentoring Sister:

(Unfortunately Julie, Trot's mentoring sister was unable to attend; thus, her recommendation was read by Sister Annie.)

I am very happy  that you made this last step to take your place as a proud Sister of Roissy Val d'Oise.  We met in a really turbulent time for me, and so I could not be as close at your side as I was expected to be as a mentor, but I checked on you and  your path and was always impressed how great you did along your journey.  You made your steps here  in an impressive way.  I guess I could have needed your help more at some times as you needed mine.  Even if my RL makes me very rare at VDO these days, I can for sure say that this is a wonderful place. Especially when it changes to the beauty of wintertime.   We learn a lot here and I am sure you learned a lot Trot. You had already a huge knowledge when you came here, but VDO and its path, and especially its people, make us discover unknown sides of ourselves, no matter how huge our experience might have been before.

From the moment you dropped your application in the yellow box until the first step on this red carpet here today, you had a journey you certainly won't forget Trot. I hope you'll always remember your good and your hard times during this journey, as they made you to the sister you are today.  I want to tell you how sorry I am that I could not be closer to you during that time, but my RL just made it impossible.  I am proud of you and wish you all the best for your time as Sister of VDO. Never loose your beautiful smile.

**Sister Annie took the liberty to add a few words:  Trot, i have a few things to add, and i will be brief.  I too have watched your progress on your path with great interest. You are a very quiet  but steady force in this home of ours. You have interacted with others here, serving well and  looking for  your place. i have no doubt that you will find it as a Sister and become one of our shining stars.  You have gifts to share with others that we have only had mere glimpses of. Do not be afraid to open yourself to this community and embrace it's gifts to you.  Roissy is a magical place, made up of the best souls that i know and love dearly. Yours is added to that list and i am honored to now call you Sister.  Today begins a new path, the one that does not require note cards or workshops. It requires you to find your heart of service and to reach out to others on their paths  to lead them and sometimes hold them up as they stretch and grow,  This is where you will find the most satisfying growth in yourself. Revel in it and look for the opportunities to let it shine brightly.  I wish you happiness and joy in your Sisterhood, you have earned it.

CONFIRMENT OF TITLE AND RING

And so the moment of confirment arrived, and only Maitre Rene can make that decision.

"Maitre Rene, You have heard the recommendations of Maitre Marcus and the warm support given to that recommendation of her sister Julie.  May I invite you now, to bestow on Demoiselle Trot the title and the ring of Sisterhood?"

Rene smiles and look at Gillian. " Thank you Gillian," Rene studies the Courtesan Demoiselle kneeling on the cushion to his right, reflecting on the recommendations he has heard.  The morning sun shines on the crown of her dark hair.  He looks at Rain, the girl's Master, and nods his head and smiles.

"The day of Sister Graduation is always special for our community.  The commendations I've heard for Courtesan Demoiselle Trot are well received.  With pleasure I confirm to continue with the proceedings."

Trot was called to kneel before Maitre Rene, who looked upon her, thinking about the supportive words spoken on her behalf.   He looks over her head,  out to the gathering of community and visitors.

"Thank you all for coming here today to support and celebrate in Courtesan Demoiselle Trot's Sister Graduation."   His fingers search a pocket for his old, worn, leather journal.  Finding it, he  pulls it free and flips it open to the page with "Trot" written at the top and  reads the notes that he has made throughout her  journey. Then he stands to address the community.

You see here before you a sincere submissive, one who came already in her submission and with the desire to give her full devotion to the path of training we offer.  Let me share with you her achievements on her journey here at Roissy Val d’Oise.

Demoiselle Trot was accepted into the House of Samois on the August 1st  2015.  She progressed and moved on to the time of her initiation on  July 31st  2015 where she was presented to the Dominants of Roissy  by her Master Rain. She was opened and became Demoiselle Trot.

Trot presented her workshop entitled Know the Collar on September the 19th.  Trots event,  Toga Party,  was held on September 27th.  Her final task was given to her  based on her strengths and weaknesses.  After receiving a  notice of recommendation from Maitre Marcus that all was completed and she was worthy of Sisterhood.

The Final Task is a test of a Demoiselle's Submission based upon her strengths and weaknesses,  it is no easy task  but a challenge,  one that pushes the submissive and brings her to the core of her surrender and is even a challenge for already collared girls.

You have proved the depth of your submission competently  and arrived at the day of your Sister Graduation.  With pleasure I will bestow upon you the prestigious title of Roissy Val d’Oise Sister and give you your special ring.

Rene looks to the audience

You have heard about Courtesan Demoiselle Trot’s journey that brings her here today,  a day eagerly looked forward to.  Her commitment that has brought her here is an inspiration for Courtesans who still have to complete their journey.

Rene reaches inside his vest pocket and pulls out a ring.  He reaches for her hand and positions the ring just at her finger tip.  The morning sunlight makes the gold band shine.  Rene looks into her eyes and smiles.

Let this ring be a reminder of your dedication to Roissy Val d’Oise and the honor you have now achieved.

He slides the shiny gold ring into place on her finger...  Trot gazes for a moment in awe as the ring is placed, Thank You Maitre Rene, ... and taking her hand in both of his,  leans forward, saying quietly:

Courtesan Sister Trot,  My wish is that you will nurture and guide others along the way on their own journeys to our Roissy Val d'Oise Chateau.

Rene returns to his chair,  sitting back...  He feels so very proud.  He turns to Gillian  with a big smile.

Please give our newest Sister her rightful title  and let’s welcome her into our Roissy Val d'Oise Sisterhood.

And so Trot received her new title!

Courtisane Sister Trot:

i am overwhelmed with the show of support and thank Y/you all for taking the time to attend.  i very much appreciate the help i have both been offered and received here, and a special thank you to my Master for His support and to Maitre Marcus and Maitre Dusty with regards to my final.  Maitre JC and to Gillian, the two of You are the backbone of VdO and Your tireless work and time here are so very much appreciated. Y/you are both so busy but still take the time to make even those starting their paths here feel welcome. The work done behind the scenes that many are not aware of along with assistance to many a one that is struggling a bit. All of the admin at Roissy do so much work to keep things running smoothly.  Maitre Rene, for Your vision and Your unyielding patience and support as Your vision unfolds and expands.. taking on a life of its own at times but within Your desires and guidance.

There are many more that i wish to thank, a kind word, a hug, an offer to help or helping with a task or scene it all adds up and makes Roissy what it is. All of you are part of it and of course all contribute to make Roissy the success that it is.  I am so proud to be graduating and to hopefully be able to assist by mentoring, which i have done many times in different situations before.  As many of you know my Master and i have been together for over 5 years now, W/we both feel that W/we have found O/our home here at Roissy. Not only for O/ourselves but for Our poly family too.  Coming to VdO as i was exploring, while my Master was off line, i attended a few work shops. i was impressed with the content and how informative they were, also with how friendly and helpful the people here seemed to be.  My Master could hear the excitement in my voice as i told Him of Roissy and agreed to come over to look. W/we discussed it and decided to put in O/our applications, check it out a bit to see if it is something Our family would enjoy.  Everyone was so helpful and friendly.

We both knew that W/we had made the right choice in devoting our SL time primarily to Roissy and to helping others here.

i can be shy at times, especially in crowds, but i feel i am also strong and driven.. i loved the structure and relished the challenge of the paths as they were presented here. i am not going to say that i was not discouraged at times.. being a Courtisane Dem has its own challenges, not to mention time zones and the occasional bit of unnecessary drama which we can all do without.  i am not going to bore you with tons of details. Let it be said though that i will always remember the day of my initiation and the completion of my final with pride and the feeling of accomplishment, both days along with this my graduation day are very special to me.  i feel i have grown in many ways along my paths at Roissy, both reinforcing that which i knew, refreshing of some basics and exploring some areas more in depth than i had before. It is nice to be needed, to be able to help and to be able to do what i enjoy doing while helping others.

In my opinion Roissy provides a sense of family for all, ways to learn and grow for those new to the lifestyle and challenges along with a sense of belonging and need for those more experienced in the lifestyle.  i have made some good friends here, many more i wish to get to know better as time permits. The quality of the role play and Dominants here from what i have seen is exceptional. How everyone is there to support the others is truly magical.  i eagerly anticipate continuing my contributions to Roissy in mentoring and offering my creative side if it can be of any use... oh yes.. not to mention continuing to help some handsome Dominants and also Deb's and Dem's with their paths too.

Thank You Maitre Rene for your vision and providing this beautiful home and place for all to learn and to grow.

Gillian, Samois House:

Family...... what does Family mean.  Family is knowing you are always supported , encouraged to grow and most of all loved.  You can tell family anything and always know they will have your back no matter what and will always tell you when they think you are wrong, family never lies to you.  You have fun with your family, have little arguments and sometimes end up not talking to each other for a few days even.  But at the end of the day you gravitate towards each other again with love, understanding and forgiveness, because if you don't have your family what do you have?

Trot you are lucky to have a family within a larger one, Roissy Val D'Oise.  Trot is a wonderful builder amongst many here at VdO, and has never hesitated to jump in and help her fellow sisters with their event builds even when she was busy with her own, she knows what the meaning of family is, she is warm and compassionate, i'm proud of all she has achieved, with dignity and kindness to others.

Maitre Rene thank you sharing your dream with us, you have provided us with a wonderful sim, a place we laugh, cry, get frustrated in , roleplay and meet people from all over the world,  a place where we have formed wonderful lasting friendships with people we would never have met in our daily lives and have connected to each other as Family!

Thank you A/all   for all the hours you put in here everyday, for your unending support, help, advice and guidance, especially to Maitre JC who i know is sometimes pulling his hair out in rl ...chuckles.  To my wonderful assistants without you i would be pulling mine out!

A special thanks to all the Dominants who help the girls, help guide each and everyone of us, we appreciate you all, to our sisters who give up hours of their rl time to help their mentees.  Our doors are always open to each and everyone, whether you seek guidance, have a problem, or just wish to have a cup of tea/coffee and have a chat or if you would like to contribute to the sim  with a talent or bring something new forth, please don't hesitate to contact Maitre Rene, Matire JC or myself!

Master Rene that concludes the ceremony, as the House of Samois is proud to see another of its Demoiselles take her place in the wider community. May I now invite you to close the proceedings witnessed here today?

Maitre Rene ~ Closing Speech:

Rene stands, picks up a champagne flute  and stands before the newest Sister

Sister Trot this is a wonderful day for you, this is your day!

He raises his glass, and proclaims:

Come everyone and raise your glass with me in congratulating and welcoming Sister May into Our  Roissy Val d'Oise Sisterhood.  Congratulations Sister Trot!

As the congratulations quiet, Rene moves closer to Trot and smiles at her.

Trot, it is with pleasure to call you a Sister of Roissy Val d’ Oise.  May your life at Roissy Val d'Oise  hopefully always be remembered as something near and precious to your heart.  This is the only important thing to take in:

You did it, you did it, you did it.

And I hope that if I say this three times, it will magically and perfectly enter into your soul,  fill you with grace and the joy of knowing that you accomplished your desire, your dream in this life.

You're a great submissive… a submissive who is being honored before all her community. Please take that with you when you walk off this stage. No matter what happens, no matter where the road takes you, you will always be a Roissy Val d’Oise Sister. No one, can take that from you, even if they think they can.

Rene smiles at her, then turns and moves to the middle of the stage. Facing the audience, his eyes scan it as if looking for a face…He nods his head, as his focus rises up to the tree-tops

This feels like the end of one era and the beginning of something else.  Scary and exciting and now what? Well, I may never be up on this stage again, on any stage for that matter.

… he laughs …

Change, you gotta love it.  From one day to the next, we never really know what can happen, or what will happen. Each of us has heard life referred to as a roller-coaster ride… sometimes we go up and down, around and around, upside down, backwards and forwards… always moving forward. The ride might stop, and we rest on a plateau for a little bit, sometimes longer for those people who choose to remain stagnant,  But for the most of us, we hop back on the ride soon enough to continue the excitement.

Our Roissy Val d’Oise roller-coaster can sometimes bring changes we don’t always like and it can mean someone gets off the ride, sometimes forever… sometimes only for a short time. And when we are lucky, if they are someone we have cared about, or someone who has given great support to our community, perhaps she or he climbs back on at the next plateau and rejoins the ride!

Yet, change has occurred, things will never be as they were before… so it’s a new way.

The only constant in life is change. We can bank on that. So, let’s not be afraid of changes, and let’s recognize people do change… we, ourselves, can change when we really need to.

Roissy Val d’Oise is a community of like-minded individuals, yet each of us is so different in our experiences and perceptions. We are a tolerant and accepting family. Let’s not change that quality. Let’s not become callous and selfish, but remain warm and welcoming. Let us hold always in our minds, “but there for the grace of god, go I,” and live accordingly, remembering, kindness matters.

Thank you, all of you, for the company. Here's to the next roller-coaster ride.

Rene begins to walk down the stage, pauses, and turns toward Sister Xanadu,

Please announce the celebration dance for Sister Trot. Thanks.

He gives her a smile and nod of her head, turns and leaves the stage.
