In a spectacularly beautiful ballroom setting, Maitre Rene followed Madame Barbara in greeting the large number of wedding guests, "I’d like to welcome you to this special occasion where we get to celebrate the love between Barbara and her new wife Kirsten.

"I am honored to speak on behalf of all your friends and family here when I share this old English Blessing, 'May your joys be as bright as the morning, your years of happiness as numerous as the stars in the heavens, and your troubles but shadows that fade in the sunlight of love.'"

He concluded his extended but glowing remarks by reading a poem, written by the talented Seta Rosea:

 One winter evening
It is a privilege to dream with you
 A scene from a movie
 A song from a festival
 An opera at the theatre
 Whatever represents you
It will be the image that I will take with me
In the time that passes from today … to the Moon

 Sometimes you win
 Sometimes it gets lost
Sometimes it only snows, on a winter evening.
And how could I not live my next few days
In the real illusion of giving you my hand
 Never leave me alone

Not to turn off that smile that breathes about you
As long as I lived alone…I lived on me
Now under this cloak of a blue night
 I will live on you

Who knows what makes a winter evening sweet
It will just go out into the stars and jump on them
I wish….to my heart. Have fun
 You are no longer alone

Mistress Asia, long loved friend of Mistress Barbara, presided over the ceremony. She regaled the lovely couple with the Ceremony of the Roses -- "a union between a Dominant and his or her submissive. It is an ancient ceremony full of meaningful symbolism and rituals, which for today was reduced to the main ritual, since Kir already wears Barbara's collar. Today it's the symbolism of building their eternal bond."

After a truly beautiful Ceremony of the Roses, where each woman pricks her finger with the other's rose thorn, and vows her love wth each drop of blood, Barbara concludes with a sweet set of words:

If you were in my eyes for a day
You would see the beauty that full of joy
I find it within your eyes
And I ignore whether it's magic or loyalty.

If you were in my heart for a day
You might have an idea
Of what I feel
When you hug me tightly to you
And chest to chest
We breathe together.

If you were in my soul one day
You would know what I feel in me
That I fell in love
From that instant together with you
And what I feel is
Nothing but love.

And what I feel is
Solely love
Remember
My paradise are you.

She also recited a story about a star separated from its twin, which "disappeared into the endless darkness of the space, left back the other star whose light looked so much dimmed now.  The left behind star felt how he was drifting as well more and more into the darkness as the gravity of an other star hold him back, not allowing him to disappear forever into a dark black hole. And so the star left behind drifted, accompanied by the other through space, still his light was dimmed, no more that bright as before but he felt secure. He was rescued.

"After a while, something magical happened as our lonesome star, who was no more that lonesome, felt the strange pull of an other lonesome stars' gravity.   It happened what physics teaches us, the gravity of those stars bound to each other.  A new bright bipolar star system was born. And with this accompaniment this bipolar star system was a new light fire on sky.  If you strip the math, maybe you may find some more in and behind this little fairy tale... and now you know as well that bipolar stars may shine much lighter on sky.

"Thank you to those stars of mine."

After the traditional cake-cutting and elaborate toasts, Barbara concluded by inviting everyone to dance, and introduced Fly Kugin and her magic violin. "Fly is as well the leader of the SL international symphonic orchestra and will open the ball with our bridal waltz, the music to my poem / lyrics: 'Se' or 'Remember,' the love theme from the movie 'Cinema Paradiso.'"
