"Bonjour my wonderful famille," greeted Maitre René as he strolled into the Chateau Patio. He stopped before the rock fireplace and smiled, looking around at everyone. "How happy I am that we can all come together to celebrate a new milestone for our wonderful community! A Mistress Ceremony!"
He smiled and looked to Dusty, adding, "Please begin the ceremony my friend," before taking his seat wearing a proud smile.
Maitre Dusty welcomed everyone, "After our female dominant applicants receive their Domme role and begin work on their training path tasks, it is much like any other journey where one seeks to learn and complete work and yet learn a great deal about themselves and the others in the process. Many of them take on a renewed interest in not only learning themselves but teaching others From their wealth of experience and knowledge.
"At Roissy Val d'Oise, we believe that being a Mistress of the Chateau is quite an honored achievement to be truly earned through hard effort, education and practical experience exercising new concepts. We ask our dominant members to demonstrate their diligence in learning about our culture here at Val d'Oise and BDSM in general, to express their knowledge and understanding of critical components in their lifestyle and to exhibit skill in building creative, enjoyable and erotic scenes with the submissives in our community.
"As with anything in life, not everyone who begins their journey completes it. Those who do complete it do so because they don't give up, they keep moving forward. Many come here looking for a chance to have good role-play. Most that make it through to earn their Master or Mistress tag discover much more than that. They discover a chance to learn or re-learn about themselves and about D/s Relationships and BDSM concepts in a warm, encouraging growing community that takes it's heart from the Story of O."
At this time he turned the ceremony back over to Maitre René, who has a few words to share with us before Miss Ayita would speak and present her guest speakers, who would speak on her behalf.
"Thanks Dusty," said Maitre René as he pushes off the arm rests of his chair and stands. His eyes move from face to face, coming to rest on the guest of honor.
Ring of Entitlement
"Ayita, Bonjour," said Maitre René. He smiles and moves beside her, extending his hand. She places delicate fingers in his, and rises to her feet. Smooths down the scarlet gown with her other hand. He clasps her hand in both of his and holds it for a few moments while looking into her eyes.
"Welcome Mistress and congratulations on this title amongst us. I am proud to give you the ring of your title." He slowly lowers his hands, letting go of hers and turns to everyone.
Miss Ayita's painted lips curl upward in a smile. "Thank you, so much for this honor." Her shappire eyes shift down to the gift, taking in its beauty.
Smiling, Maitre Rene takes his seat again.
Alika speaks on behalf of Miss Ayita
The first person I asked to speak this evening has been an unlikely friend since the moment we met. She has proven to be a loyal friend and an unparalleled confidante. Her commitment to Roissy is inspiring, her dedication to those around her implacable. I am so pleased she has agreed to stand with me this afternoon. She is a perfect complement to my personality, her unfailing kindness and positivity reminding me of what we should all strive to be. Alika, If you would be so kind to join us and say a few words.
"Thank you Mistress, I would be delighted. Hello Maitres, Masters, Sirs, Miss's, ladies and guests. I met Miss Ayita on the landing when she was helping a deb with a chore task. It was shopping and I tagged along. Who knew a few weeks later we would still be working together. She has become a dear friend and an impressive Dominant who has helped me with many of my limits and I must add she has a very impressive wit, which I find as a huge turn on. I am so pleased to have her as a friend and I appreciate and value her opinions on every subject. I would have loved to have gotten some comments from my sisters, but this speech was sprung on me suddenly, most likely so I wouldn't have an opportunity to delay it. So I can only give my own comments. which are, Ayita is one of the kindest most caring Dominants I have ever had the pleasure to meet. She has helped me find that part of me that I never thought, that sums up everything. If you want something to last forever you treat it differently."
Sir Storm speaks on behalf of Miss Ayita
For my next speaker, I would like to introduce Storm. He and his girl, Sorcha, have swiftly become two of my closest friends whom I respect immensely. Who knew the moment we met, when he asked the favor for me to watch out for her, it would be the beginning of a bonded trio. I am extremely pleased he has agreed to stand for me today, and welcome him to address you all. Storm, if you please.
"Ayita is the Eiffel Tower of Dommes. She is outstanding. Impressive. At once firm and majestic, elegant and strong. Above all, she is a rarity. Just as the Tower is no mere building, Ayita is no mere Domme. That she has earned her Mistress ceremony and the honors of its title so swiftly after her arrival is no surprise to those who know her. All she does is fueled with a drive to excel at her practice, whether that is dance or event planning, workshops or directing submissives in service. And her every action illustrates a radiant desire for esteem, integrity, propriety, wisdom, strength and kindness. The quality that has most impressed me about Ayita is far rarer than drive or desire. Drive is only desire that has been tempered by professionalism. And desire is a common quality, an elemental part of being alive and aware. Together, they can produce greatness. But true distinction is found by those who have the steel and the grace to show dedication. Talent, dreams, ambition - these powers pale before the power of dedication. And Ayita has proven herself to be dedicated to all she does. She is dedicated to being an extraordinary Mistress to this estate. She is a dedicated artist, choreographer and epicure. Most of all - and to why I'm speaking here today - she is a dedicated friend. Our paths - Ayita, Sorcha and I - crossed by happenstance, but her commitment to our friendship has been total. She has weathered times when she was called upon to provide counsel. She has also sought our counsel, placing trust and esteem in us both. She has been there to lift spirits, to share in joy, to delight us with her wit and generosity, her creativity and her support. This dedication to our friendship - and the dedication to all things she loves - is what truly informs her worth. What truly distinguishes her from the crowd. What, above all else, earns her the honor of this stage, this title, this special day. Philosophers speak of true experts being 'outliers' - distinct from others in their chosen pursuit - and say that the quality of being an outlier comes from time devoted to a practice. To never giving up. To accepting that failures and mistakes are only failures and mistakes if they are surrendered to, rather than embraced as the lessons they are. We are blessed to have an outlier among us here at Roissy, and I am blessed to count her as a true friend. In the words and experience of my girl, Sorcha, Ayita is patient. Sorcha writes: 'We share so much - creativity and coffee, spirit and storytelling. We have never failed to make one another feel beautiful. I can count on Ayita, trust and confide in her. Ayita's caring and genuine ways have shown through for me, thanks to her openness and honesty. She is like a den mother to me'. Thank you, all."
Mistress Ayita Speaks (as well as her personal friend, Maia)
Shelooks out towards all who have gathered for this ceremony, bathing them all in the warmth of her smile. "What I learned recently, was that writing speeches about yourself is extremely hard. The last thing you want to do is get up here and toot your own horn, that just makes you look like a bit of a tool." Grins. "I figured I could make a start with a round of thank yous. To those of you who came today, those of you who supported me and answered a bunch of newby questions. To those of you whom I have grown close with, and a little shout out to my friend Maia for visiting today."
Maia smiles softly and opens her mouth to speak and then shuts it.
Mistress Ayita chuckles at her, surprised there was no muttering to follow.
When I first came to Roissy, it was during a pretty rocky part of my SL existence. There had been plenty of changes, and I was in the midst of one of those dramatic 'where do I fit in' phases. Many a time I had stopped by here and considered joining, but for whatever reason I never took the plunge. This time around, I did. What I learned here was not how to be a dominant, how to treat submissive. Nor was it that whips and chains excite me. What I found was confidence, and the unique opportunity to RP in a niche that I created to be all mine."
Maia looks around and then speaks softly, "Hello Maitres, Masters, Sirs, Miss's, ladies and guests - I hope I got that right! I have to say that of all the people I have had the opportunity to meet on my travels in this wonderful world we are in, this girl is one who I would truly call a friend. She is loyal, kind, she listens and yes at times we don't agree and fall out and have the most amazing of rows but at the end of the day I love her as if she was my sister. Before she came here she was lost, she has now found her home, her place and I have never seen her so happy - for that I thank all of you. You have an incredible girl as a member of your community, someone who is genuine, committed, sensitive, patient, considerate and above all loyal."
Miss Ayita grins at Maia, laughing at her words. "That would be right. And she is also obviously very fond of talking. Thank you for indulging her. Love ya too brat." Glances back to her paper and continues her own speech now.
"Sometimes we all get so caught up in logs that, yes me included, that we forget why we came here in the first place. Whatever that reason may be, its unique to us, just like our experience. I have hit a few bumpy patches along the way, but for the most part found what I sought. A community of like minded people, who get me and most importantly, to have fun with! Rather than name names (someone is always forgotten by accident aren't they?) let me thank you all. Each and every one of you, for reminding me that SL is fun and accepting me for all my quirks and oddities.
"It only seems fitting to close with another round of thank yous. Their time, I direct them towards the Administration without whom none of us would be having the fun we do. Thank you for the honor of this new role, and I pinkie swear to do my utmost to be deserving of it!"
Maitre René's Closing Speech
Maitre René stands again and looks to Ayita. "Congratulations again Ayia on your new position of Mistress at Roissy Val d'Oise."
He turns to the audience.
"There are moments in your life that make you and sets the course of who you are going to be. Sometimes they're little subtle moments. Sometimes they're big moments you never saw coming. No one asks for their life to change, but it does. It's what you do afterwards that counts. That's when you find out who you are.
"Ayita has shown us who she is and proven to our famille she is deserving of her new role amongst us. Those of you who have welcomed Ayita with open arms and found the opportunity to walk beside her on her Dom Path are also to be thanked. Even a Domme cannot make her milestones alone. So thank you for giving her your support."
Maitre René grabs a flute of champagne. He turns to Ayita, smiling warmly.
"Ayita, you've reached your Mistress milestone and so now I look forward to seeing you work hard to reach your next milestone, that of Maitresse, and mentor others on this path."
Maitre René raises his flute in the air.
"My famille, I present to you Mistress Ayita. Congratulations Ayita! Cheers!"

As the congratulations quiet, Maitre René moves back to his chair and then pauses, a grin lifts one corner of his mouth. He turns and faces everyone again, waiting for them to quiet. He pauses a moment ...........
"A mother cleaning under her son's bed finds a BDSM magazine," says Maitre René. "Sighing, she calls for her husband.
"What are we going to do about this?" she asks him.
"The husband thinks about it for a moment and then says, "I don't know but for god's sake don't spank him."
Harley cracks up / Diamond laughs outloud
A broad smile spreads across Maitre Renéis face, He sits, takes a drink of champagne, nodding his head to Dusty to continue as laughter ripples around the patio.

"What a weekend!" says Maitre René. " A Demoiselle Initiation, a Sister Graduation, and a Mistress Ceremony! I think I need another day just to recover! Or a night.,, hmmm... I wish you all a wonderful rest of your Sunday. Please take care all." Smiling, he starts to leave but pauses as Maitre Dusty comes to hi feet.
