Azu’s work is eclectic, a wide range of dark and light, bound and free, delicate… and downright almost raunchy. It’s all wonderful, and this exhibit is a must-see… Her portraits come not after hours of Photoshop work, as she says “It’s how it is.” and in my mind, makes it all the more beautiful. The walls were covered with images, and as she mentioned, they’re not all posed, some are candids taken during those quiet personal times. It’s there the flow of light and shadow just seems to beg for immortality.
Whether it’s the breathtaking display emblazoned or the other images brought to life, bringing fairy tales to life by modelling in world and fantastic portraits, her breadth of work boggles the mind.
