The tension was high as we waited for the arrival of Nero Grunstein. His thirty years of bondage and rigging experience showed in the beauty of his photography, spread with light and shadow around the second floor of our Roissy Gallery. His work transcends, not just Second Life, but moves into Real... His portraits are living, breathing examples - poetry in motion, the freedom of restraint, and the beauty of being bound.
The muted tones only brought out the intensity of his work and the joy and devotion of being placed in each twist of the rope and tilt of form.
