Among the 27 color images presented at Roxi Richez’ delicious Gallery Opening on July 6, no female body was left un-touched, un-squeezed, or un-titillated. Bring a fan to cool off if you plan to see the exhibit on Level 3 here at Roissy.

Asked by Master Chicago, “Tell me about your use of lighting, Roxi. What's the mood you try to create?” she responded, “It takes a lot to tell a story in a picture ... it’s not just poses...so much goes into it...that’s the artistic side…I like taking pictures…I capture moments..but they are by far art. I want people to ‘feel’ something when they see my work, whether it’s a good or bad.”

“I cant just throw out some props and a pose and make a picture. I need a story, an emotion; then I work on props, clothing etc.  Once i start taking the picture, playing with lights; i get quiet, and then things just happen. I can't even explain it to myself.”

Talking about Flickr (https://www.flickr.com/photos/roxi_/), Roxi explains, “When I post there, I also add a link to a song that matches the mood of the picture.”

Roxi, formerly with Erotic SL, Wheelz & Heelz, and SL Unplugged magazines, currently works with StrokerGirl and Domizia Poses and models for Defiance Magazine.

“i don’t know if any of you read Stephen King,” she said near the end of the party, “He gave an interview once saying everyone has deep dark thoughts — it’s how we express them that makes a difference between art and being a lunatic. He called those thoughts alligators or crocodiles, and we have to let them out, but in a positive way.”

“Well,” commented Brandi, “I do enjoy a few alligator bites now and then…”
