The Roissy Art Gallery hosted a meet-the-artist reception, where photography artist Samanda Jewell exhibited her collection of photographs, framed in full wall sizes and hung in lovely succession on Level Three.
The 28 images, all presented in large horizontal format, contained a range of themes: erotica, nude stidies, period pieces, and landscapes, but the artist's stunning use of light and shadow punctuated them all with special beauty. Interestingly, a Scottish Terrier appears in some -- as if a signature to Miss Jewell's remarkable talents.
At the Opening Champagne Reception, attended by members of the Roissy community, Miss Jewell answered questions and talked about how she composed the images and brought out her models’ feelings.
