At a reception in the Roissy Art Gallery, Sir Dex Howley exhibited his private collection of photographs, framed in full wall sizes and hung in lovely succession on Level Two.
Thirteen of the fifteen pieces in the collection show the female form in beautiful representations, using both muted colors and black and white. Taken together, they almost hypnotize you with dark moods and gentle shafts of light against crystalline silhouettes and delicate skin tones.
At the Opening Champagne Reception, attended by members of the Roissy community, Sir Dex answered questions and talked about how he composed the images and brought out his models’ feelings.
