Ray Toxx is the photographer for Rainy City in Second Life.  His exhibit, consisting of twelve images, is a breathtaking display of dominance and erotica extending beyond promotional and portrait work into erotic pieces that leave you wanting more.  Ray and his partner, Intense Rage, manage to capture intensity of emotion, beauty and the desire of his subjects.

Here is a cross section of the comments and the artist's responses

Elli: "I adore the girl in the glasses, Sir Ray"*smiles*
Ray Toxx: Are you referring to Eripom Elli?
PattyJ McMillan: i  was trying to think , mmmm  what  is she thinking  Miss Elli
Elli: Yes, that's the one. Eripom. :)
Ray Toxx smiles "she is a builder and scripter at Insilico ... not the easiest model to capture"
star: please make sure you look at all of Sir Ray art work
Butcher Pete: I like the girl on the bondage horse. This one with the gag looks very nice too
Intense Rage chuckles as she remembers being on that evil horse, nodding slowly and biting her bottom lip.
Ray Toxx: the horse is a vintage piece by a Japanese creator ... I make use of it when there is call for some discipline
Gretel2cute  (Gretel2cute Resident) blushes at the thought of riding that "horse"
Glenn: Most interesting. You like this one, Tasta?
Butcher Pete: So, is this one also your girl, Ray?
Dex (CKDexter Howley): Well on two glasses of champers at a time.. you'll get there cutie.
Blue Ronsein: May I ask you, Sir Ray, how you got started doing SL photography?
Ray Toxx: It coincided with taking up residence at Rainy City ... I had a gallery there ... more for RP purposes but people were asking to help them with profile portraits. this was the start slowly
Priscilla O (Priscillamaid Resident): I get the impression you've yet to *really* let yourself go, Sir Ray. I'll bet there are some really, really startling images floating around inside you, waiting to be let out.
Blue Ronsein: "Okay thank you " and Blue takes notes for the website coverage
Ray Toxx: I must admit Priscilla that I censor a bit myself ... in the sense that I do not show the more extreme scenes I capture ... I always take care not to hurt some more sensitive persons
Dex wonders what this dude does with the acetylene in this photo
Priscilla: You'll find a *very* receptive audience in this community, Sir Ray, I promise you.
Glenn strolls over and offers his hand to Ray. "Very nice work, Ray. I like the young lady with the glasses over there. I need to run along. Thank you for showing your work."
Butcher Pete: Yes indeed, I have to agree with Priscilla. You'll have to show us your "worst" next time, Ray ;)
Dex: It is like Ray is Wes Anderson ;)
Ray Toxx: The gentleman with the acetylene torch and the bunny sleepers was proposing plumbing services to the two young ladies
Dex: The plumber lays pipe; grins at the explanation
Blue Ronsein: Gosh, so many different styles that you have. Is there a technique or style that is your favorite?
Ray Toxx: my favorite technque is the frontal portrait
Butcher Pete: Are these chopsticks in the girl's tongue?
Gretel2cute (Gretel2cute Resident): that is interesting
Ray Toxx: the main difficulty consists in getting the model to look at the camera and capture her expression ....hmmm ... the chopsticks *grins*
Dex: Bento head models simply refuse to look into the camera
Priscilla: AO's aren't always cooperative with photography.
Dex: and spanking them doesn't help
Ray Toxx: indeed ... some are hyperactive... spanking is definitely hors de question... unless it is the lovely Intense posing
Butcher Pete: You could try to work with static poses There is software that lets you make and upload them It could be used to lock one avatar's head
Ray Toxx: I tried ... some of my portraits are with static poses ... however I find them less satisfactory
Butcher Pete nods. "They take away some of the dynamic, yes."
Ray Toxx: exactly
Dex: Even in static poses, the SL avatar eyes dart about .. always a challenge
Gretel2cute: with the use of just the AO you get a real natural look
Intense Rage: Often, if you rez an object close to where you stand, the eyes might focus on it to not have them look away from the camera.
Butcher Pete: True Dex, good point
Ray Toxx: the challenge is to follow closely the model while she uses fully her AO ... hoping for the elusive capture
PattyJ McMillan: ahhh   okay
Gretel2cute: well said Sir Ray
Dex: Yeah Rage.. I have an "eye focuser" that allows me to move a model's eyes around but the new heads have broken that ability
Ray Toxx: sometimes I have to take between 10 and 20 shots to get the perfect one
Butcher Pete: Good thing film is cheap in SL
Dex: 20 to 30 easy
Intense Rage: I can imagine, Dex.
Butcher Pete: You work them over with photo shop afterwards?
Dex: I do yes.
Gretel2cute: do you use the windlight settings and filters here in SL for your photos ?
Dex: I do for landscapes but not for portraits.. I create my own textured lights and arrange them
Ray Toxx: Yes ... I have started using them ... a bit timid with them still but getting more brave slowly
Butcher Pete: I suppose you need to have a good machine to be a photographer in SL?
Priscilla: Do you ever use facelights? They're pretty obnoxious for just walking around in a sim, but I'll bet they could come in handy with certain types of portraiture.
Ray Toxx: yes ... one needs a very good graphic card and a fast connection
Gretel2cute: yes agreed and I enjoy windlight for for photos of the nature sort  His work is filled with such imagery
Dex: I like the hand print on the blue girl's breast
Ray Toxx: I love it when I can capture such details on certain avatars *smiles* I was very attracted to that hand imprint
Butcher Pete: Yes, that hand print gives that picture a certain touch, it does
