The invitation read, "Because you have shared in our lives, Maitre Thomas and Sadie invite you to share as we continue our lives together when a collar is reaffirmed on our fifth anniversary."
Thus, joined by Propriétaire et Maître De Roissy Val d'Oise René, members and guests filled the lovely Chateau Gardens to help celebrate the beautiful, joyful, and romantic event.

"Welcome, my family, friends, and honored guests!," began Maitre René. "We welcome you all to this wonderful event." He takes a deep breath, smiles and looks out over this wonderful crowd. "We gather in this place at this moment to observe and celebrate two journeys met, one of time and the other of distance.
"Thomas and his Sadie. Two souls. Two bodies. Two hearts. And two destinies will be bonded before us. Today they celebrate their recommitment as Master and submissive. The power they will exchange binds them together as surely as any rope or chain could ever achieve.
"It is a locking of hearts, minds, spirits, and souls. It strengthens them and makes them one.
Rene turns to his friend Thomas. "Thomas, the floor is yours."
P R O C E S S I O N A L
"Thank you, Rene my brother," Thomas begins, " It is a significant day for sadie and I, and we are happy to share it with our friends and also have it here, at our home, Roissy Val d'Oise.
"To the end of the blue rose covered walkway “Sadie, Asfridr, and Priscilla, Will you join us please.. I came here today with Sadie to recommit as Master and submissive.”
The three ladies, led by Sadie, walk to join Maitre Thomas and Maitre René.
T H E C E R E M O N Y
As they take their places, Sadie removes her collar. Asfridr leans forward and picks up the white rose, saying "Sadie, you carry a white rose to give your Master as a gift. The white rose is a symbol of your submission to him."
Sadie hands her collar to her Master, "Please take care of that." Thomas holds the collar with care and love, "Nothing will ever harm this collar, my girl"
Asfridr continues, "It symbolizes your purity of heart and intention, that your desire to serve him is selfless. The white rose is not yet in full bloom, and neither are you. The call to submission is ever blooming, constantly growing, and you are to remember this bud as a reminder to always remember that you can open up a little more for your Master."
Priscilla chimes in, "Maitre Thomas, you carry a red rose in full bloom, showing your maturity of self and your readiness to reaffirm the responsibility of owning your submissive. The red symbolizes your passion for her, your desire to possess this woman in this intense way, and your commitment to protect her at all costs, even if it requires you to spill your blood to do so."
Asfridr follows, "Sadie, you will see on the rose you carry, a single thorn..,please prick your middle finger and allow 2 drops of blood to spill on the white rose that you carry."
Sadie looks to Asfridr with a nod and looks down at the rose, pricks her middle finger. She holds it over the rose and lets two drops of blood fall on the white petal of her Master's rose.
"Sadie, mark your blood upon the white rose you carry, showing your commitment to your Master that can never be undone.”
"Sadie...I ask you to offer Maitre Thomas this rose..and repeat after me. 'Maitre Thomas...I offer you this White rose of purity. This rose signifies my submissiveness, Beauty, Fidelity..Care and support.., I ask that you accept it along with my heart and undying love for you.'"
Sadie 's hands shake as she takes the rose and offers it to Maitre Thomas, repeating the phrase lovingly. Then she nudges him.
He looks to my sadie, smiling..and accepting her gift of the white rose and fully understanding what her gift means, squeezing her hand.
Priscilla speaks up, "Maitre Thomas, take the white rose that symbolizes this submissive’s commitment and draw your own blood ...and place two drops on the petal: one drop alone, symbolizing your lone walk as the leader of this relationship, and one drop covering her mark, showing your union.”
Sadie smiles with eyes filled with tears - happy tears. Thomas lets her left hand go and pushes my finger on the thorn and allows two drops of blood to spill onto the red petals of sadie's rose, as Priscilla smiles and passes him the single stem blood red rose,
"Maitre Thomas," she says, ".. I ask you to offer this rose to Sadie and repeat after me, 'Sadie ..I offer you this blood red rose of passion. This rose signifies my dominance .. Strength .. Compassion ..And my protection of you above all else.I ask that you accept it along with my heart and undying love for you.'" He takes the red rose and, after he takes a relaxed breath filled with joy, repeats the pledge and pricks his finger quickly with the Red Rose
“Bring your fingers together now," offers Asfridr, "combining the very blood that flows through your bodies. Today you are bound together for eternity, as closely as your own family blood-lines," followed by Priscilla, "The two of you can never be undone; there is no separation that can be permanent and complete."
Then Thomas faces the audience. "To all here in attendance..,you have witnessed the mixing of our blood on the petals thus joining us in an eternal bond together," and he turns to Sadie, "Sadie, place the roses in the vase and take them with you this evening as you continue on to join our bodies together. Let these two roses watch over us as we consummate this bond further.
He puts her white rose in his lapel. "In the morning, together, the two of us are to pull the petals off, and combine them in a jar that we shall keep forever. The combining of the petals will serve as a visual reminder of the mixing and blending of our two lives.
"The metal of this collar represents our life together. It holds an event, a memory of our lives thus far and a moment that has yet to come. Passing it through the flames signifies the purification of all of the events, and all of the bad memories will be burned into insignificance and only the good shall remain. This collar holds our bodies, and souls, together as we make this bond.
He takes her collar out of his suit pocket and passes the collar through the flames, watching the fire obscure it for a moment. Pulling the collar back safely, looking at with a deep smile. Turning to her, taking her hand again and looking at with anticipation, “Sadie, it is my intent to again offer you my collar as a sign of your submission to me. Are you willing to accept my collar?”
Sadie smiles with happy tears in her eyes "Nothing would make me happier, Master. yes. Yes, I accept your collar as the outward and visible sign of my deepest joy: that I am yours. I gladly accept your authority and trust you to guide me on the right path. I vow to honor you with my every thought, word, and action. I promise to be your best friend, your lover, your confidant - to stay with you, support you, and fulfill your needs and desires as you allow. I give you my love, my heart, and myself, now and always. Five years...I’ve heard it said that in SL time is like dog years...so this is our 35th anniversary. We had known each other for over a year but when we collared just over a month together, I’m sure many thought 'It will never last.' Every relationship has bumps in the road, but here we stand before you today, still going strong."
Thomas blinks his eyes with emotion and squeezes her hands firmly feeling her words.
"We have endured so much," she continues, "but we have fought to overcome these obstacles. False friends from gossips to flirts to even so much as ones who actively try to come between us...despite all odds and obstacles, we stand before you today reaffirming our commitment to each other. One thing has always been constant in those five years...the collar around my neck was always there comforting me. Once it is placed back there today, I hope it remains forever.
"Master, You are my protector, lover, guide, friend. I am yours - Control me, command me, dominate me, and use me, Touch me, hold me, kiss me, and make me feel safe. Remember I am always yours, the person who you can trust, the person who will always put you first, and the person who loves you.
"In the last five years, you have helped me discover the true submissive in me. I now readily give over the former resistance in me to your will. I’m far from perfect but I strive everyday to be perfect in my submission to you. Every day our bond grows stronger; our love grows stronger.
"Finally, because I feel compelled to add lyrics to everything, here goes. Many of you know that I am not a country fan, but Shania hit this one on the nose…
"You are still my one, Master, now and always..." and she whispers "I love you."
Thomas looks back.."I love you too," eyes filling with passion, blinking them and clearing my throat, ahem..a few times...“Nothing in this world makes me happier than owning you, and having you by my side. This recommitment is significant in many ways as it represents our growth together, the journey we made, what we overcame, and now what we are.
"My girl, you are everything to me, and all I ever wanted since I first touched your hand that night on the balcony." He holds her collar up high so everyone can see, “This collar has now been purified by fire in this ceremony. Fire seems appropriate to purify and put the past behind us. The obstacles were a trial by fire of sorts that only served to clarify what is most important and true.
"You are mine and I am your Master, we belong together. I have seen you grow, deepening your submission following my guidance. We emerged closer, wiser and united. We realized what was most important of all, is to be together and grow together, and everything else will pale in comparison. No matter what we encountered, I never stopped loving you, and won’t ever."
He lets her hand go, "Sadie, Pris, As.. please kneel." She lifts her skirts carefully and kneels on the cushion whispering, "I love you."
He walks to her as she kneels..and touches her cheek briefly. "As bring my hand back, "I do love you so." He takes the collar, his heart full, as his hands place the collar around her delicate neck and latch it securely. Inserting the key into the lock,and turning it, so the solid metallic sound clearly indicating the lock paw is secured in the latch.
Sadie 's heart thumps joyfully at the sound. She reaches up to feel the metal with her fingertips and smiles
Thomas's hand rests on her shoulder as he turns to the assembled crowd, As she reaches for his hand he takes it and squeezes it, “Sadie, I am charged with your well being in all you do. Your life is literally in my hands is a metaphor that Masters sometimes use. When you are happy..I am happy, when you hurt..I am hurt as well. I could no more hurt you than myself. This is the essence of the power exchange we have done."
"Rene my friend, will you close our ceremony please ?"

Rene stands, aware of the feeling that are so open and clear to those here. "We have witnessed the re collaring of Sadie to Thomas. A collaring ceremony can be a symbolic gathering between two or more people and a group of friends to honor a commitment. It’s often compared to a wedding in that it involves a kind of jewelry and vows, except instead of a ring placed on the bride and groom’s finger, it’s a collar placed around the submissive’s neck.
"It is my pleasure to Dismiss those assembled and I invite you to go to the Ballroom for a celebration dance with the luxurious voice of Wolfie Startfire.

Holding her hand, not wanting to let it go and smiling.. Thomas says, "Thank you for all the well wishes." Sadie also thanked everyone for their cheering. Thomas completed the ceremony with "Thank you all of our friends and family for coming to witness and support our joyous ceremony, it meant so much to sadie and myself."
