Members gathered in late morning, a time designed to accommodate as many time zones as possible. As the beautiful tree appeared, everyone cheered, and Maitre René said a few words to bring in the holiday season.
" I wish each and every one of you a very happy Christmas and a peaceful, prosperous and joyful new year. In turning on the lights of the Roissy Christmas tree I will remind everyone that a Christmas without light is not Christmas.
"Let there be light in the soul of all of our hearts. Let there be no hostilities but forgiveness. This is my wish for all of you, as we turn on the lights of the Christmas tree. Christmas is a time noted for nostalgia and happy memories. It is a spirit of anticipation and looking forward to the incoming year.
"Endearing thoughts of Christmases past thats inspires us to hold close the happiness and joy of spending time with our families, friends and loved ones. A time when we remember those we have loved no longer with us. Finally, I would like to thank you all
