Maitre Thomas cleared his throat, "Welcome all my friends and thank you for joining us this evening as we celebrate the perseverance that CY has shown to complete his journey and achieve his full Master tag, and now joins the ranks of the many fine Masters of Roissy Val D'Oise.
He smiled to Cy, "This is the long awaited event; I know you worked very hard for. I know Annie regrets not being here, but if she were able I am sure she would. Applicants receive their Dominant to Master assignment log and begin work on their path task, it is much like any other journey where one seeks to learn and complete work and yet learn a great deal about themselves and the others around them."
He turned his gaze to the gathered crowd, "At Roissy Val d'Oise, people find the others around them, both Dominants and submissives alike, are happy to teach and share with one another, drawing from their own wealth of wisdom. At Roissy Val d'Oise, we believe that being a Master of the Chateau is an achievement to be truly earned through hard effort, education and practical experience exercising new concepts."
Maitre Thomas paused a moment sipping a glass of water. "Cy, has worked through his aligned log tasks and overcame adversity that popped in his way. vGood on ya, Cy. Before I turn the floor over to Cy and his guest speakers, I wish to present his Master ring that has been made for the Masters of Roissy VDO."
T H E C O N F I R M E N T
Maitre Thomas walked over to him, offering him the ring. "We are honored to have you in our community as we are with the rest of our family here. I know that you will continue the hard work you have demonstrated so far as you continue this next part of your journey in our community. On behalf of Rene, I give this to you as well as one who now joins the ranks of the Masters of the Chateau."
Master Cy accepted the Master's ring from our Maitre Thomas, and never looked at one before, but looks wonderful in my hand and quickly puts it on with a big smile, "Thank you so much and looks at the people here and thank you as well, gulping when you said all the other fine masters and hopes I live up to that."
Maitre Thomas shook his hand and smiled, "It's your audience now, my friend, enjoy your moment."
M E N T O R I N G D O M I N A N T
Master Cy looked out over the kind faces, "I will like to ask my mentor for a few works and hoping nice words today. Stoney the floor is yours."
Master Stoney rose to speak and looked out with a kind smile at the audience filled with many of the friends of Cy, "When I was assigned Cy as a mentee, I found him steeped in what I assumed was a Gorean tradition of male masters who needed only to command and not to understand those subs who crossed his path. I believe, as part of his Roissy experience, Cy has learned the need to identify and be attentive to the the needs and limits of others. A kinder and gentler BDSM, of sorts."
He looked around as he spoke, "Through his path to Master, I believe he has learned to avoid opening conversations with discussion of such common hard limits such as water works. He has learned through attentive conversation what limits might be pushed and enjoyed for each individual he engages with. It is one of the most important lessons to learn from the sim and is a challenge for most of us. He also learned the proper way to document a workshop citation."
A warm smile brightened his face, "I accepted the challenge of teaching Cy by sharing what I had learned from the Roissy way of life; hoping that he could learn not just from me, but from all sim members with which he interacted. I was pleasantly surprised in recent months that I heard from subs who had changed their opinion of him. for the better, during his lengthy pursuit of the Master's title. While Cy has stumbled on occasion, he has been patient working through problems and eager to engage new people on the sim. He is always eager to offer the sim advice on improvements that he envisions. I believe he has learned much through assignments and the reactions of sim members to his evolving behavior. I also appreciate the way Cy has shown me respect when I offer him advice or give him news he did not want to hear."
He continued with a frown, "I'm so sorry Annie that could not be here as she is recovering from surgery. Annie became a valued partner in the task of mentoring Cy. With my consent Cy and Annie talked and dance frequently before I came on in the evenings. Once I set the ground rules for Cy about how he should treat my lady, he showed her respect and I think learned from her almost as much as me about the proper behavior for a dominant in our community. "
He glanced at his mentee, "It was fitting that Cy was permitted to do his finale with Annie. I will let her describe that evolving relationship and the results of the finale in her words read by her good friend and mentee Asfridr."
With a proud strength in his voice, "I am fully supportive of Cy becoming a Master here at Roissy. I wish him well in learning the skills to mentor others and developing lasting relationships with sim members. I will always be happy to offer him counsel as a mentor and a friend. Congratulations Cy on becoming a Master."
Master Cy stood and shook his mentor's hand laughing, "Thank you Stoney, you could have said worse about me!"
As the laughter died down, Master Cy added, "I so hoped to see both my mentor and Annie here sitting together but As had Annie as her mentor and glad she is filling it, so please As the floor is yours As."
F I N A L S C E N E S I S T E R
Asfridr rose from her cushion and straightened the folds in her skirt before tossing chocolates to the crowd, "I am really sad my mentor Annie isnt here to read her speech and very honored she asked me to read it. The following are Annie's words...'My dear family of Maitres, Mistesses, Masters, Doms, and very lovely sisters... I am humbled to be a part of another Master ceremony in Roissy. Master Cy has traveled a very long and transforming path and it was my pleasure to aide my Master in his mentoring in this way.'"
"Master Cy has a wicked sense of humor and always catches me off guard with his 'panty checks.' His final was full of humor, down to lighting my behind on fire! Many prayers were being recited as the candle burned, believe me!"
"From the initial order of how to dress to the ending order of redressing, Master Cy was commanding and confident. He was very much into our RP and shared His excitement with me. He carefully monitored my comfort levels throughout the final and administered excellent aftercare at the end. Thank You for your excellent care of me and for the desire to have a Courtisan complete your final, Master Cy. You are one of the few that realize that we Sisters still have gifts to offer others, even after our graduation."
As continued reading Annie's note cards, "I am impressed with Master Cy's dedication to helping others on our sim, He consistently reaches out to the new famille and debs, and helps them to find their way. i wish Him the very best on His new path. i know that He will continue to grow in wonderful ways and to help others as He does now."
"I also thank my Master for allowing me to help others on their paths here at Roissy. It is a pleasure to serve Him and my family in any way that I can."
As leaned over giving Master Cy a hug and kiss on his cheek whispering "Congratulations Master you deserve this and this is from me."
Master Cy stood helping As back to her cushion, "Thank you As and thank you Annie, will take all the kisses and hugs I can get!"
M A S T E R S P E E C H
He took a breath and began, "I have noticed at ceremonies, there are a lot of thank you's. I found out in time that no matter how much you think you know it all or think how good you are, a secret, I found out I am not. I have said a number of times I was first helped by a group of subs that wanted to take me shopping as I needed an overhaul with my avatar and clothes. I got one too, I came along for the ride and when mmm hinted that is what I want, I just paid for it.
So I hope I look decent. In a number of my scenes, ouch, some were even named disaster, so I thank the subs for not getting mad at me and then talking to me about mmm adjustments that could be made. And still the subs were kind enough to keep telling me they would have scenes with me. And the other doms that I could talk to about explaining parts of the log and what I could do and talking to me and being friends and helping me period."
His shoulders relaxes as a smile graced his features, "Then, I need to thank Stoney my mentor and Annie, I thank now for the lectures, ( I didn't like at the time,) but I am sure were needed. Finally got to the place I knew they were right all the time, and that sucked to know I was wrong and I needed to cool it. For Stoney putting up with my log, as he had to read it a zillion times. And for Annie to do my final, and her continuing advice, as I fully believe I am learning a lot on my Dom path from the subs as well as the other Doms.
And Stoney, you should thank me now for making you the best experienced mentor ever, handling all the problems I handed you, head aches, and what do I do with him now, situations, and ohhh my gash situations. Stoney has a notecard made up, it keeps saying, "Have patience, have patience, it will all work out" I wore that one out, so the next guy will get a new notecard.
He chuckled, "And thank you to all my dance partners, no Doms, you were no help on that part. I think I surprised Xana for thanking her a few days ago, her few words when I needed it and not some words, when I should have heard some, I thank you for that too."
He turned to Maitre Thomas, "And for Maitre Thomas, the biggest thanks for giving me some good news. Both him and Xana hold the place together and understand what has happened in the past and I think can see forward, to hold the place together, and many times I think that is taken for granted."
He paused and scanned the crowd, "Thank you community for being here and showing your support as always, it is a high to see all this support, so thank all of you, for helping me and being nice to me. I also wish to take the opportunity to also thank Rene, for providing al of this for us, for having the vision to bring us all together, we are a large diverse group with many things to share, and It warms my heart for having all of this to share with each and everyone."
S U M M A R Y A N D T O A S T
Maitre Thomas stood clearing his throat and taking a sip of champagne, "I am proud of Cy for sticking to the path and getting it done. Ladies and gentleman,...here is to Cy newest Master at Roissy val d'Oise !"
Master Cy smiled and took a big bow.
Maitre Thomas concluded the ceremony, "Thank you all for celebrating with us and Cy. Thank you Rene for providing everything here for us to enjoy at Roissy. Please join us in the Garden for Cy's celebration party, as Sister Lark is singing for our enjoyment. We are adismissed and go have some fun!"
