The warmth of the coming season was starting to show as the Roissy Famille gathered to welcome a new Master of the Chateau into the ranks. Maitre Thomas hushed those still settling in as the clock turned over and the ceremony started.
T H E W E L C O M E
“Welcome all my friends and a hearty thank you for joining us this afternoon as we celebrate Magolla having completed his journey and achieving his full Master tag, and now joins the ranks of the many fine Masters of Roissy Val d'Oise. After applicants receive their Dominant role and begin work on their path task, they are faced with a long list of tasks.”
“But the tasks are like a journey, where one seeks to learn and complete work and yet learn a great deal about themselves and the others around them. They find the others around them, both Dominants and submissives alike teaching one another from their wealth of wisdom. At Roissy Val d'Oise, we believe that being a Master of the Chateau is an achievement to be truly earned through hard effort, education and practical experience exercising new concepts.”
“We ask our Dominants to demonstrate their diligence in learning about our culture here at VdO and BDSM in general, to express their knowledge and understanding of critical components in this lifestyle and to exhibit skill in building creative, enjoyable and erotic scenes with the submissive women in our community. We do not award Master or Dominant tags to just any breathing soul that shows up, like other places do.”
"For that and many other reasons we can all be proud of Magolla and our home, we are elite, the best of the best. Before I turn the floor over to Magolla and his guest speakers, I wish to present his Master ring that has been made for the Masters of Roissy VdO.”
T H E C O N F I R M E N T
Thomas walks over to him, offering him the ring. "We are honored to have you in our community as we are with the rest of our family here. I know that you will continue the hard work you have demonstrated so far as you continue this next part of your journey in our community. On behalf of Rene, I give this to you as well as one who now joins the ranks of the Masters of the Chateau."
Magolla took the ring from Thomas slowly, looked at it smiling, and slid it to his finger then turned to Thomas to shake his hand. Thomas offered, "Let me be the first to congratulate you and shake your hand. Welcome Brother." as Magolla shook his hand firmly with a smile. "Thank you." Thomas added "My Brother, the floor is yours" and sat, as the new Master, Magolla turned to the crowd. "Ok..." He looked around… "Ok.. I can do this..." he breathed and started talking.

" I...had an itch. An itch in my soul that I couldn't scratch. It was there, disturbing like a toothache. Affecting my relationships, my life. And I couldn't find the cause of it. Until I discovered Roissy. My friends, I wasn't talking about SL.”
"When I first landed here and took the first tour, I wanted to know more, much more. Attending every Workshop I could, talking to submissives, Dominants, and trying to understand. Then slowly I understood what I am. Who I am. And it affected my relationships in every life. The itch... was finally gone. I understood what a submissive can do... can be... and how precious her gift is. The gift of submission. And most importantly how a Dominant should be. I am still learning that... Learning never stops."
“A dear friend of mine said something to me one day when i was a fresh Dom. She said ‘Roissy is here to help, Roissy is here to protect, Roissy is here to give a safe haven for all submissives and Dominants. Roissy is here for classy people.’ I never forget that. And I tried to do my best honoring that.” Magolla looked around grinning "The ‘Classy’ part is still something I am working on though."
“My friends I would like to respectfully and strongly encourage you to spend more time in the sim to role play, attend social events, and attend ceremonies. All these activities can be very enjoyable and rewarding. Further, they help build our community and bring strength to our family.” Magolla breathed and looked around. “I would like to thank each and every one of you here, and to people who disappeared along the way. But everyone is not lost thankfully.”
“My sweet friend Sweet Baby Blues. Thank you for your friendship and tips all through my internship and Dom path. You will always be ‘Sweets’ for me, and lovely Modaor, for making my final exam such an experience I will never forget, and I am thankful for that final task... because I win a beautiful friend... and get the chance to know an amazing submissive, and had the privilege to enjoy her.” Modaor blushed and smiled to him.
“And Jaymelie, thank you for all the warmth you are giving me, helping me get my bearings after my return and all the patience needed with it. You are my heart. I would like to thank my Mentor, Dom, for being a giant lighthouse when I was trying to find my way back home again.” Magolla turned to his Mentor “Thank you, Dom, for being there... and here.”
Dom nodded to the Man of the Hour as Magolla turned back to the crowd. “I would lastly like to thank Thomas for his support and direction. Also, appreciation to Maitre Rene for our marvelous Roissy home. I will do my absolute best to honor Roissy, honor each and every one of you for being a part of Roissy, my family. And I will do my best to honor this ring and title. Thank you all again for being here, and thank you all for being in my SL life.”
The warm cheers and congratulations rang out over the patio along with the applause, and it was a few long moments before it quietened enough for Master Magolla to continue “Ok.. now I will let Modaor tell you how horrible I am.” He smiled and motioned for her to take the floor.

Modaor stood up with care, quietly... a soft smile on her lips, coughing a little to clear her voice then looked around. “I was surprised, when I received an IM of Maitre Thomas, asking me to do Sir Magolla's final... yes I really was… Such an honor for me it was to receive this IM.. having this huge honor and responsibility to help a Dominant with his path and even more Sir Magolla's path…” smiles softly to him, and Magolla winked shamelessly in return.
“I met Sir Magolla two years ago...I had always seen in him a very serious man who speaks few words and listening a lot...one that always enjoys the presence of a pretty lady at his feet.. and long deep conversations. Over this time, I had the opportunity to get to know Sir Magolla, not as closely as Roissy can allow us, we often just spoke quietly.. and of course I did growl loud in his IM's also, when I deeply disagreed with him, he never had bad feelings for me and I feel so happy of this.” she nodded a few times, adding “I do growl.. some can tell you.” then blushed.
“When this task was given to us, I discovered how awkward it is to begin a conversation.. knowing we have a target to aim for. Master Magolla did it all, in the most natural way, allowing my thousand questions, sharing his wishes, his vision, I think in the first hour he surprised me by his suggestions ... how tricky it was... as he was making me think more and more... and we all know that most of the preliminary planning and thought begins by the brain…”
“I won't say here how intense our scenes were, no.. I won't say it.” she smiled, turning to Sir Magolla “During this time we shared, Sir, I saw in you so much more that I couldn't even think about.. I knew nothing of who you were or of who you are. I realize how such this final scene enabled us to reach such a high level of intimacy...how the path is never finished and that we all learn and grow.” Master Magolla smiled softly to her as she continued “What I saw in you Sir, over your serious temper, I discovered, a Dominant man of heart, straight in his boots, yes I discovered this dark side in you that so thrilled me.” She blushed again “And more than anything, a man that I respect even more now.”
“Thank you Sir, for who you are, for how much you gave me and I know that not all was easy during this time we shared. Roissy allowed us a fantastic thing... to grow all together in learning ourself deeper.” She turned to Maitre Thomas “First Maitre, I wish to thank you for allowing me to serve such a great man that Master Magolla is, I see in him a true Dominant convincing me that he is indeed very worthy of his Master's tag.” She slipped down on the smooth pillow, sitting back in place. Maitre Thomas smiled and nodded to Modaor as Master Magolla spoke again “I would like to call my mentor here, Dom.”
M E N T O R I N G D O M I N A N T ' S S P E E C H
Master Dom rose to his feet ”Thank you, Magolla. Hello to everyone here today. It is my pleasure to say a few words on behalf of my friend and mentee, Magolla, on this very happy and exciting occasion. When I first encountered, Magolla on the sim one day, I perused his avatar and made the mental exclamation.... ‘OMG.... Clark Kent from the Daily Planet is here at Roissy! Could it be the Man of Steel is on our beloved sim?’.“ There was a small round of chuckles as Master Dom continued “However, on further examination, I noticed his hair bun and thought, ‘I am mistaken. I do not believe Clark ever wore that hair style in the comic books, on TV, or in any movies. It was a false alarm.’ On a more serious note, when contemplating what to say today, a quote from the ancient Greek philosopher, Plato, came to mind. It is a quote I have long associated and connected with true Dominants in the lifestyle. ‘The measure of a man is what he does with power.’ - Plato.”
“I have had many mentoring conversations with Magolla, and I have observed him many times in the sim. I firmly believe, Magolla, is a true Dominant in thought, action, and word. He understands the unique power Dominants can possess over submissives. From my view, he employs this power with authority, affirmation, respect, and grace. Further, he understands that true Dominants never cease their learning or development.”
“I read his final scene with Roissy Sister, Modaor, he was masterful in his dominance with his sessions with her. He is a true measure of a Dominant and very deserving of the title, Master of Roissy VdO. I am looking forward to him continuing his active presence in the sim and participating in our events and ceremonies. It has been a pleasure being his mentor. I am looking forward to counseling him on his next path and continuing to be his friend.”
Magolla replied “Me too, Sir. Always.” and Dom continued “Magolla, I know you have worked hard to attain the title of Master. Today, we celebrate your momentous achievement. Congratulations and all the best of good fortune for the future.” Magolla added a quiet “Thank you, my Mentor.” to which Dom replied “My pleasure.”
T H E T O A S T A N D S U M M A R Y
Maitre Thomas rose again to his feet, “Thank you Dom, Modaor (syn), and of course Magolla. We are truly grateful for all each of you have done. Everyone grab a glass of champagne to toast the new Master. To Master Magolla!”
Another bright round of laughter and applause rolled forth about the area, the sound of champagne flutes being tapped together and Maitre Thomas raised his glass, clinking it with Magolla's "Congratulations and welcome my brother." then drank it down. Magolla smiled to Thomas, downing his glass and then smashed the empty glass to the floor shouting " More!"
Maitre Thomas smiled to Magolla then turned to the crowd, "I also wish to take the opportunity to also thank Rene, for providing all of this for us, for having the vision to bring us all together. We are a large diverse group with many things to share, and It warms my heart for having all of this to share with each and everyone. Please join us for Magolla's party in the Ballroom, Dove will be spinning some tunes for us. Thank you all for joining us here, to celebrate with Magolla."
"You are all dismissed now.”
