As "Priscilla O" usually does at a dance event in Roissy VdO, she not only attends -- but she graciously promotes it in group and invites everyone on the sim to participate.
But to her (and everyone's) surprise, this event was different.

DJ Sadie addressed the crowd of dancers with a sly smile on her face. "I came to Roissy in Feb of '15 and Pris was already a staple here. You won't find a more caring sub and generous person. She is kind hearted and loves to be helpful - whenever she is on sim she checks to see if a host is needed. Roissy is her home and she happily proclaims it.
"She also has an amazing mind. Her requests are sometimes obsure but always enjoyable. I've learned more about music from her and this really weird thing happens - Pris has many times requested the next song! Out of all the songs in my library and all the songs in her head - what are the odds of that? Like it freaks me out and I say 'Pris get out of my head!'
"She is an example to all submissives. She's a trivia preparer, host extaordinaire, she's an organizer and so much more. She is unique and yet strives to stay in the background but more than any of that...she is a true friend. I was honoured to have her stand besides me as my Master and I recommited to each other. I haven't been her mentor for long but I am so pleased to speak on her behalf today. I couldn't be happier or more proud to see her take her rightful place as...
T H E S U R P R I S E
... "a sister of Roissy." Priscilla smiles broadly
"Pris," Sadies continues, " You have earned this tag the hard way - 10 years of service to the sim. Your loyalty and perseverance are demonstrated daily. So let me be the first to say, congratulations Sister Pris !
As the crowds cheer jubilantly with joyful congratulations, Pris answers, " I am crying in RL. Thank you so much, everybody."
Dominant Superviseur Thomas continues as the cheering winds down, "Pris I have known you a very long time, and you have exemplified the essence of submission and grace. I am sure that I speak for the entire Roissy family" You show kindness toward everyone, even if they are undeserving. They are not many people here from early days of Roissy and even fewer that have been as dedicated to Roissy as you have been.
"To many you are known by everyone as the kind submssive that is always in a hoop skirt, and also to those us that are fortunate to call your a very good friend." He takes her hand and gives her the Roissy sister ring, slipping it on her finger and smiles, "Our founder and owner, Rene, has bestowed you this honorary title of Sister of Roissy. It is given with much respect and appreciation for all of your time and things that you do here for everyone. You will be getting a new sister chat from me soon. I am sure you will be a wonderful mentor." Raises my hand "Everyone - Please welcome Sister Priscilla!"
After a second round of cheering and whooping, Priscilla steps up, "I am very grateful to Maitre René and you, Maitre Thomas. And I am very grateful to everybody ... whether here or not ... My eyes are tearing up, so it's hard to see what I'm typing."
"Pris, would you please stand and say a few words ?"
P R I S C I L L A ' S R E S P O N S E
Priscilla stands before the gathering, "Yes, Maitre, thank you again. I'm looking out at you people ... my friends, and truly, my family. I know I’ve told this story before, but I first became aware of Roissy Val d’Oise when I saw pictures of it on Flickr. That’s what inspired me to create an SL account, so I could come and see it for myself. So I’ve been here literally since my first day in this world.
"From the moment I arrived, I was made to feel very welcome here. Just for example, one of the doms immediately taught me how to right-click on objects to do mundane things like sit down, which is, of course, very important. And one of the girls took me under her wing and taught me how to do the most important thing of all ... go shopping!" (laughs)
"Ever since then, I knew I’d found a great haven in Roissy. Aside from the kinky aspects that first drew me online, I felt welcome here, I felt safe here, and I felt such friendship here. And I knew that’s a feeling that’s too big for just me to have. I have always wanted to help spread that same feeling to others who come here, the doms, my sisters, and all our visitors. I want people to feel *right* in this sim, to know that this is someplace where they can *belong*. I really am overcome with emotion. (hugs to everybody) That's all."
F I N A L E
As everyone hugs Priscilla and again chants their congratulatory cheers, Dusty claims her dance card, "We are very proud to have you as a member of our community and we hope that you will remain your sweet lovable self. May I have a dance with our lovely new sister?"
"Ohhhh, I was hoping somebody would ask!" (laughs), she answers, and Dusty swings and twirls the lovely new sister... light on her feet. She also dances with Hettange and Sam... as all the Garden lights up with music by DJ Sadie and accolades for Sister Priscilla.
