ARTIST INTERVIEW

Juliette:  What is your art medium?

KalleDawn: Strictly SL Photo's shot with the best use of light i can find.  I use Ao's and poses in furniture to try to catch the hottest shot possible.

Juliette: How long have you been creating?

KalleDawn: I began seriously trying to create about 7 months ago.  I had viewed an art showing here in SL and felt I wanted to capture natural SL life in my own style.  My partner at the the time was not fond of the idea and asked that I find something else to do with my time.  I choose to try it on an alt, so not to disrupt his SL life.  Callie Katz was born and the adventure began, with out the consent of my partner.  My current partner is most supportive of my creative nature.

Juliette: What inspires you?

KalleDawn: I am inspired by the work and heart others put into their own contributions to SL  life. The work and beauty others create in the natural poses and animations, skins and hair and clothing, all making it possible for each individual to create a avatar that represents something that is uniquely their own.  The passion of the one behind the computer.

Juliette: Who is your favorite artist and why?

KalleDawn: Depends on the media. Frank Lloyd Wright, for the organic and functionality of his designs. Monet for the use of color to illicit feelings. Michelangelo for the way he depicts the human body in form and spirit. and yes David is one of my all time favorite sculptures.  I would totally be David's slave.... grins.

Juliette: How would you describe your style?

KalleDawn: Honest, Sensual and Eclectic Erotica.

Juliette: Which of your works is your favorite, and why?

KalleDawn: I do not have one favorite piece in my portfolio, I have been told I am in love with every pic  I take.  I am guilty of that.  My desire to take the pic's overcomes most all other emotions.
