The crowd crowed, as DJ Emma set the tone, playing mystery movie music. Q glowed in color-changing bustiers. And Master Brinker, in black top hat and tails, stepped up to the microphone: " Hello my friends and welcome to the first ever -- Brinker Leigh Maitre Event! It is a sim-wide Scavenger Hunt, during which you seek the location of 8 carefully hidden, slightly naughty items."
As potential hunters gathered, the Maitre-prospect continued, "The 8 items are shown on this cleverly decorated board here,” and he pointsed to the poster. “Meanwhile, my glamorous assistant, Q, has set out a box to click for hints on where to look, making my hard work in hiding these items as wasteful as possible.” He turned and scowled at glamorous assistant.
The people grew anxious and hungry to scavenge as Brinker counted down the starting gunshot, "
“On your marks.....get set...
...... GO!”
He told them the deadlne, but added, with a twinkle, "If you are nice, and kiss the glamorous assistant’s feet, she might give you a slight grace period. I said, MIGHT."
After all the scavenger hunters returned, the Scorekeeper whispered the winners to Master-- and he called out their names, giving them cash prizes and handing the Grand Prize Trophy to Tzeitel. Everybody was invited to dance to DJ Emma's celebration music to round out the exciting event.
